Frisk (Undertale) versus Giorno Giovanna (Jojo's Bizzare Adventure)

Just a weird idea I had.

Standard OBD assumptions.

Giorno has Gold Experience Requiem, while Frisk has peak determination, as in, them as of their fight with God of Hyperdeath Asriel.

Frisk is completely countered by GER's ability to prevent any action from being finalized, negate attacks, and prevent fate from happening. GER will most likely negate Frisk's ability to reload from SAVE. While Frisk has resisted timeline erasure from Asriel’s Hyper Goner, suggesting they can persist through conceptual destruction, Determination has limits. It allows Frisk to persist through death, but not necessarily against something that erases their ability to act. If Frisk cannot physically or mentally choose to reload, then GER traps them permanently. If Frisk loads a SAVE from before they ever fought Giorno, it resets their timeline and removes them from the battle entirely. However, this does not mean they can defeat Giorno, it only delays the fight indefinitely.

Since GER is passive and negates actions before they occur, Frisk can never land a successful attack. For Frisk this is an infinite stalemate where they keep reloading but never make progress. However, if GER negates their ability to reload altogether, Frisk is permanently trapped, making Giorno the decisive winner.
