Night 2 Ends, Day 3 Begins
  • The Man isn't coming around anymore, sadly for Gad...
    Becky.png

    Name: Becky Lynch
    Alignment: Good Luck
    Role: 1x Cop
The Man. Big Time Becks. The Irish Lass Kicker, previously. She's one of WWE's top female draws ever. What she isn't, though, is employed at the moment, having left at the end of her contract to spend some time with that family she made in 2020. It's more than likely she'll be back in some capacity this year, probably a part-time one, but for now, the women's division is down one superstar.
    • During Night, you may target another player. You learn your target's alignment.
You will win if town can eliminate any hostile parties.

    Aurelian disappeared...
    Kiyah.png

    Name: Kiyah Saint
    Alignment: Good Luck
    Role: Vanilla
LOL who's Kiyah Saint? One of the more forgettable names to have ended their WWE employment in 2024, she went straight from Clemson to the Performance Center, then pretty much straight out again when she showed no upside. In an interview she said she didn't know why she was cut. Given her lack of any post-WWE career moves, I think we could all guess the reason.
    • You don't have a special role or ability.
You will win if town can eliminate any hostile parties.

Alexis didn't last long enough to see Cum Tuesday...

    Wagner.png

    Name: Von Wagner
    Alignment: Good Luck
    Role: 2x Bodyguard
The son of a Beverly Brother shot to prominence during the NXT 2.0 changes, because who cares if he wasn't anywhere near ready, he's young and big! He gained an ironic fandom because a total lack of charisma is a charisma of its own (that, and Cum Tuesday), but never really developed. After WrestleMania XL he was one of the names who got cleared out, and that was that.
    • During Night, you may target another player. If your target would be killed by another player's ability that Night, that target is prevented from dying.
You will win if town can eliminate any hostile parties.

    Grimes.png

    Name: Cameron Grimes
    Alignment: Good Luck
    Role: 1x Refiller
One of many guys called up from NXT with no plan, left to sit in catering, and then cut. Grimes had a great gimmick reinvention over the pandemic, having suddenly gotten rich off Gamestop stocks, but his trip TO THE MOON didn't exactly extend to the main roster. Still shockingly young for his experience level, it's not impossible he could return, but for now he's doing the indie thing.

    Jinder.png

Name: Jinder Mahal (with Indus Sher)
    Alignment: Good Luck
    Role: Double Voter
Behold, a former WWE Champion! WWE's quixotic attempts to get that sweet Indian dollar ended in 2024, with the release of a man who was pushed despite no redeeming value (and being Canadian). Even with legit-Indian heavies Sanga and Veer, Jinder drew zero dimes, and all three were cut to a collective shrug. At least Jinder's unhindered in AAA, as Tag Team Champ. They'll hire anyone!

  • Feast your eyes on this... it's Sparkles.

    Dijak.png

    Name: Dijak
    Alignment: Good Luck
    Role: 2x Watcher
A Triple H guy who seemed not to be over with anyone else. Dijak's gimmick is basically cosplaying as Masahiro Chono and telling people to feast their eyes. WWE weren't exactly rushing to put it on TV. Still, he's got legitimately cool "how the fuck can a 260-pound guy do that?" offence, and he's making a fair bit of money on dates across the Atlantic and the Pacific just off that.
    • During Night, you may target anther player. You learn the names of any players who visited your target that Night, but not what they did.

    Ricochet.png

    Name: Ricochet
    Alignment: Good Luck
    Role: 2x Redirector
Here's an unexpected development. Ricochet, for a long time the flat babyface "Highlight of the Night" there to do flips and eat pins, was gone from WWE in 2024. Instead of doing the same in AEW, he discovered a new calling as a whiny shithead who gets booed even despite the flips. That's a lesson to all the Good Wrestler Guys floating around the indies. Get an edge. It really pays.
    • During Night, you may target another player, and then any player (including the same player or yourself). If your first target uses any ability that targets during that Night, they are forced to use it on the second target, instead of their intended target.
You will win if town can eliminate any hostile parties.

Melkor ain't so All Mighty anymore...

    Lashley.png

    Name: Bobby Lashley
    Alignment: Good Luck
    Role: 3x 50% Vigilante
Lashley's peak in his most recent run with WWE was, obviously, in the Hurt Business, which is why it's so bizarre they had him go solo right after becoming champion. One of the older Big Dominant Dudes on the roster, he naturally washed out in 2024, and now he's having a resurgence in AEW by - quelle surprise - reuniting with his former teammates. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
    • During Night, you may target another player. You kill your target. This action has only a 50% chance to succeed; you will not be specifically informed if it fails.
    • You know that MVP is in the game. If you target him with your action, you do not kill him, and something good will happen for both of you.
You will win if town can eliminate any hostile parties.

It is now Day 5. With 4 players left alive, majority is 3. You have 48 hours.

    Game Over - Scum Wins
  • Okay, gonna call it here.

People in the dead chat were surprised this game continued, and I don't feel dragging it on is in anyone's best interest. Like I said before, the game isn't mathematically over, but thanks to a perk one player had and a restriction on another player's role, the most competitive this game can be is for a draw to be forced, and that would require one scum player throwing and voting the other, so nope. So I'm going to call it here as a win for....

    -------

They have proven that there will always be a place for awful people in wrestling.
    Good Riddance Aligned have won!

Your surviving winners, @Cataclysm and @Kurosaki Ichigo !

    Gulak.png

    Name: Drew Gulak
    Alignment: Good Riddance
    Role: 2x Roletracker
The Ronda Rousey drawstring story was what started the path to Gulak being dumped, but really at fault was the number of emboldened former colleagues of his who revealed he was every bit as much a bully in real life as in character. Since his release he popped up in Beyond, the promotion with the creepy thumbnails for intergender matches, which seems fitting.
    • During Night, you may target another player. You learn your target's role, and the name of any player your target visited that Night, if any.
You will win if your alignment's dominance becomes unstoppable.

    Odyssey.png

    Name: Odyssey Jones
    Alignment: Good Riddance
    Role: 1x Strongman Adrenaline Junkie
Fastest career suicide speedrun? A powerlifter built like the side of a house (which is why I found the accusations of racism for comparing him to Mark Henry dubious), Odyssey seemed set for a main roster run as part of the New Day's breakup. All he had to do was not commit domestic abuse. But then he did, and he was gone within a couple of weeks of making TV. Nice job.
    • During Night, if you are performing your faction's kill, you may activate this ability. The kill you perform will bypass any protection that would prevent the target of the kill from dying.
    • If you would die for any reason, you will be prevented from dying, and instead, you will inevitably die at the end of the next Night.
You will win if your alignment's dominance becomes unstoppable.

Your surviving losers, @Arne Slot and @Grammaton .

    Vince.png

    Name: Vince McMahon
    Alignment: Mr. McMahon
Role: Serial Killer Investigation Immune 1x Duelist
Of all the people to depart in 2024, the most significant is the one who made WWE what it is today, for better or worse. An abusive, senile tyrant to the end, having already forced his way back in once by stock shenanigans, the former owner was finally pushed out amid a very real lawsuit, from which only his friend Donald could save him. So fell Vince. May he never return.
    • During Night, you may target another player. You kill your target.
    • During Day, except during Day 1, you may initiate a Duel with another player by posting Duel (target's name) in the thread. You and that target will be put against each other in a separate 1-on-1 vote, with other players voting on who will win. (This runs alongside the regular vote.) The loser of this vote will die. In the event of a tie, both players will die. If you use this ability, you cannot kill anyone on the next Night.
    • If anyone tries to investigate your alignment, they will see you as Good Luck aligned. If anyone tries to investigate your role, they will see you as a 1x Duelist.
You will win if you can eliminate every other player.

    Bearhill.png

    Name: Trey Bearhill
    Alignment: Good Luck
    Role: Vanilla
I got nothing for this dude. I think I saw him on NXT Level Up once, but that may have been Hank. Or Tank. The Performance Center graduate men are a lot less distinct than the women, even considering the mass of gymnastic blondes that come out of there. He had a sort of Native American edge, but he still felt pretty generic. Hey, at least it wasn't an offensive stereotype.
    • You don't have a special role or ability.
You will win if town can eliminate any hostile parties.

    -----

This game could have gone to N6 if everything lay perfectly for CP, but there was no way outside of a scum win.

    -----

I've got to say I'm disappointed overall. Not just because of the lack of activity, but because none of the potential interactions I came up with went off. Lashley and MVP didn't team up. CP's two types of investigation immunity weren't tested. The Redirector and the Watcher (two of town's best roles) did nothing. The modkill to Ekko kind of put a damper on things and it was never going to recover from there. Still, I thank those of you who tried your best.

    MVP: @Cataclysm obviously. No HMs.

    Twas fun
