the ggear roster ranges with mid from from island+/country level+ up to to moon level+ while the high tiers are large star level+ and the top tiers are solar system+ level up to almost universe level under certain conditions and certain techs

main games are:

- ggear1
- ggear x
- ggear x2/x2 core plus
- ggear overture
- ggear xrd sign
- ggear xrd rev
- ggear xrd rev2
- ggear strive

speed wise, they also range from at least relativistic+ up to mftl+ levels too

also, sol is the type of lad who makes almost universal tier based weapons against chars of that level, out of boredom, lmao

hax wise, they got elemental manipulation, various dimensional based techs, teleportation, high level regen [depending on the char], various forms of immortality, mind control, time manipulation, soul control and body control, resurrection, bfr/sealing techs, gamma ray based techs, matter manipulation, reality warping, tk, etc

basically, with their best techs and hax, they are stronger than verses like z/gt toeiland, toriko, heroic age, mori jin land and overall verses of that tier

terms:

backyard: it is another dimension, a dimensional space, resulted from the information conveyed from the backyard. Upon entry to the backyard, the extremely restricted data pressure is immense and anyone who enters must be "tuned" to the frequency the backyard emits in order not to be crushed by the dense information contained within it.

the barriers in backyard are so hax, they need to be slashed by certain weapons, since the layers, they are imbued with time manipulation essence and are on cosmic scale

within the backyard is an incredibly dense collective of information and data and no normal soul can survive for very long without being compressed under the pressure, so they must become 'tuned’ to the frequency of the backyard in order to survive

sol explains it as a world that can rewrite the laws of ours however it wants. The existence of the backyard was part of the system that defined the five main elements of magic

anything that happens in this world cannot affect the backyard, however, certain elements within the backyard can apply and change this world’s existence

normal people cannot enter the backyard since the density of the information there will crush them both physically and metaphorically

that man has developed a method that allows humans to remain in the backyard, and it is that method that allows sol, sin, doc paradigm, and izuna to travel there

In the core of the backyard is an isolated region called the cube, which was created by that man, and which allows him to exert his will on the world, the door/gate, however, was destroyed by sol

sol was never a backyard resident, but instead had his powers were “modified” to better adapt in backyard, after sol, is also the guy who has survived being erased from the timeline, when i-no destroyed his past self in ggear core plus

master ghost: it is the manifestation of an individual’s soul via the soul sinker method, if the opponent find a way and destroy master ghost with high level soul manipulation, the person whom it represents dies, though that doesn’t seem to be the specific case with valentine’s master ghosts, which, by their appearance and use alone are proxies (given how powerful she is)

chord: originally attributed to music, but now refers to complex magic incantations. In music theory, a chord refers to any minimum of three notes played at once. Chords can be played as triads (three notes), quatrads (four notes), and as many as six notes at once, it’s a linkage of more than 2 tones.

cube: an artificial isolated space created by that man within the backyard that got the chord data on gears. Cannot be accessed without the key (prime field) of gear date and it is structured after sol's gear dna composition.

gears: they are magical bioweapons beings of mass destruction, the gears were originally created for the purpose of serving mankind either as a military force or for heavy labor, they had the intention to advance evolution, but were eventually produced as weapons for battles. After justice's rebellion, they waged a century long fight on humankind before the events of the series, and they were created by the gear maker = that man.

Overall, gears come in several types, species, and classifications: command, megadeath, normal, flying and prototype.

sol has kicked dozens of them, cuz he is that strong

Imagine forgetting to mention the multiversal invincible force of destruction that is Sol's Heel :wow

Jokes aside, let's talk about hax. Blade (or Edlab depending on the week) already mentioned Sol building a universal weapon because he was bored, but he also built the Outrage.

The same Sol who decided to shoot his best friend in the face with a big bang over an almost literal dick measuring contest thought the Outrage was too much and split it into a bunch of different pieces. And then lost them. Or something. Sol does weird shit sometimes :skully

One of those pieces, Thunderseal, was able to create a localized timestop, though this also sealed the sword itself iirc. Ky used this to stop Dizzy, his Gear wife, from going maximum ax murder on the planet or something.

Speaking of time stop, Axl is a time traveler who can just fuck with time however he wants to the point that Sol considered him the most dangerous person on the planet in a world that still contained That Man and himself. He can timestop so hard even people like Sol or the guy who taught That Man magic can't effectively resist it, despite their own feats of time manipulation or resistance to it.

Sol resisted Axl's timestop just fine in Rev

and that was without DI

Happy Chaos also resisted it

You're also wrong on Dizzy getting timestopped

She got frozen in time because they needed a command gear to access the Cube and Ky froze her to stop that from happening

Axe murder Dizzy is the bad timeline where she doesn't have her good nature and inherited justice's violent personality

Happy Chaos couldn't move anything but his eyes during Axl's timestop from what I remember. Like he was conscious but couldn't actually do anything.

And I don't think Sol resisted the timestop as opposed to Axl making it so he can still move. He was trying to give Sol an opportunity to use DI without causing an information flare.

Happy chaos flat out moves inside his timestop in the story trailer when he spooks the shit out of axl

Sol moves prior to Axl giving his infodump and there's nothing in the scene that says I let you move in stopped time, only "I Compressed time in this entire area. Everything that happens here happens in an instant, so you can transform with no worries."

Mind you Jack-O was affected by the stop and Sol wasn't, as she's shown in greyscale like everything else while sol retains his own colors

Did that happen in the story proper? The one time I remember him interacting with Axl is during the skyscraper time stop where he was frozen except for his eyes.

And if it was going to affect Sol, why would Axl do it in the first place? He was trying to set up Sol's DI, so if the time stop (or compression, I guess) also included him and Sol wasn't immune he would have fucked it all up. Not to mention Sol's WTF reaction to everything going on, so its not like he felt the timestop happening and pushed back against it or anything.

sols wtf reaction is to not getting blasted by the cannons. He only gives an “I don’t believe it” to axl before getting more concerned with the consequences of axls power than anything else

not like it matters in happys case since beating asuka with the tome would mean he can develop counters to axl on the fly. Taking happy getting affected by it as anything more than happy just fucking around and not giving a shit would be pretty dumb tbh

In Overture Sol could already walk through Raven's slow/stasis fields so him possibly having timestop immunity/resistance is plausible

Axe murder Dizzy is the bad timeline where she doesn't have her good nature and inherited justice's violent personality

Axe Murder Dizzy has some truly hilarious feats like not only getting rammed by Johnny's ship piloted by a vengeful May but tanked it's explosion without any real damage.
And she's able to ultimately fight Sol but I'm not sure if we got if she died fighting against him or not.

Nah, Sol and Dizzy were in the middle of fighting

Ky taking his last breaths dreaming of I-no's cleavage before That Man asks her to change the timeline

Ky was down horrendous in that drama cd :skully . About the most we got from Sol and Dizzy's fight there is Sol activating dragon install.

Anyways strive just gave some new info about vampires. Probably have to look at arcade mode again but they can join the ranks of "irregulars" that can teleport anywhere among other things. Apparently they can serve as a nexus to transport to another world and transcend time and shit. Probably missed a few details but whatever.

On a slightly related note if you're reading the gg wiki and saw their supposed "leak" of Nago's master being stronger than Slayer. It's fake, there's nothing about that in any of Slayer's leaked quotes with the characters :mjlol.

Yeah its that Kazusanosuke guy he keeps talking about. Nago wasn't originally born a vampire but voluntarily became one thanks to his master.

Uh

He was Oda Nobunaga's servant? :rock

This is going to be one of those "Nobunaga was literally a demon" things isn't it :hm

Or is this the guy who fought the nine-tailed fox? Those were the only two people I could find with that name with a quick google search.

continuation of the terms

five element config: they are the five elements of magic which are fire, lightning, water, air, and ki, also, it is the working theory of composition of the twelve steps. It originates from thorough research of the magic energy extracted from the backyard

limiter: a device used by sol to maintain his human appearance, looks similar to head guard equipment. Though he can take off the limiter and still remain human for short intervals, each time he accesses the powers of his gear body, he becomes less and less human.

In this state his stats increase dramatically, and his power is going to new levels, depending on the output he uses, in theory, it is a device that causes dissonance with the chord that activates dragon install (acting as a seal and keeping him human), but this dissonance appears to react to other ‘sealed’ gears, causing feedback or noise which results in giving sol a headache whenever they are not in their true forms

noise: a telepathy or dissonant-like trait unique to gears. It’s the term sol uses when reacting to command type gear enchantment songs and feedback they emit (theoretically as a result of hiding in a diminished 'sealed’ form). Valentine could also sense the noise that was sol was emitting

feedback: it is a suspected to be another of telepathic communication, between gears.

outrage: the outrage is a superweapon = anti gear weapon too, which vastly improves the wielder's effectiveness in combat, as well as reduce the chance of magic misfiring and pmuch allows him to break limits with it's overall power and can defeat opponents above his weight class.

As frederick developed the outrage, however, he realized that the power it contained was too much for any human to wield, and not even himself could handle it (why u lie sol :tupac), then decided to split it to 8 parts, where each one is a source of tremendous power, but normal humans are unable to tap into it. Only those with a strong affinity for magic can truly harness their power.

Sol later designed a ''weaker'' version and named it as junkyard dog (had only two sacred treasures) and in strive, he made outrage 2 = a somewhat complete version [out of boredom] = potent enough to overpower the likes of deity i-no

That reminds me, Sol brought up using the Outrage when they were trying to provide energy for Jack-O to merge with Justice and Asuka's response was "nah that's too much".

Sol clearly regrets his decision to break it up and chomps at the bit to try it again :hestonpls
