I'm right back here. Shitposts outside of fluff phase, and when asked to do something game relevant, fires off an OMGUS for a post that wasn't even particularly committed. Where's the Ekko I know?

(but on the YGO talk I play non-meta decks with my main being Valkyries because I know no tactic other than Swarm and Bash)

the majority of players in a game are town

scum have in game communication that town dont have, letting them be aware and collaborate on things that town dont have.

scum will gang up on weak town like sharks/predators that smell blood/see the injured.

often times things that are look scummy are just people playing bad town. people playing bad town are often just that because scum are more image conscious and are thus more careful in what they do whereas town are emboldened by the fact they are town and thus nothing they could do could ever be scummy because they are town.

throw it in a pot mixed with observations of what "bad town play" looks like for a number of years and you can town read players across multiple sites!

sorry i ignored this.

i dont have a read on rdk. i looked at his posts and didnt really get much. not sure that really means he's scum as he is trying to do stuff. ultra said he's doing stuff to try to fit in while failing at it. i could see that, but im not sure if achro would make sense as a target for him over someone like maybe sky or something that was already getting pressure without any votes.

explain to me why you think gad is scum again, bearing in mind it's gad.

yea i was kinda hesitant tbh
not really sure how to explain it but the majority of the thread read him as town
i did not
i am not experienced in playing with him and its not like i had a case to push against him so i wasnt super confident in myself
was tired so i was going to revisit in the morning but then u told me to vote him and i thought "meh, might as well cuz it will just put pressure on a scummier slot ig"

any updates on your reads.

agree with ur read list for most part. just to devil advocate this tho - you also offered an "unsure" read on luka, which is more or less nullish, so them doing it too shudnt be a problem no?
 
Don't really get why rdk would pick on me so directly as scum for being loose with town reads. Doesn't add up un my head. But if it does fo3 you guys I won't raise too much of a fuss and see if my reads are OK or if I would be better suited finding someone to buddy with to solve.
 
I think initially Gad was making reads that appear to say something but actually don't offer anything. His progression on Luka for example felt more like he was throwing darts dependent on what the thread temperature was rather than a process that had a beginning that was constantly evolving. Then his defence left much to be desired to me - he argued that I was twisting things that were clearly not even my own position without arguing with the person who actually made that position in turn. When this was presented to him he just hand waved it by saying to apply his arguments to them in retrospect which obviously isn't very good, because his initial position was that I was doing so to make my push make more sense.

In conclusion, in Gad I do not see a coherent or even plausible thought process. I've accounted for things like him not carefully reading but I still come sway with the suspicion that his arguments and positions are back filled rather than natural. I also came away from this with him with the impression that he and RDK fit as scum together hence why I asked about them explicitly.
 
so like this. the reason i hesitate with this is he did the exact same thing last game with my slot with ultra. he scum read me then town read me at eod1 then day 2 started and he scum read me without any elaboration.

unless you find the fact he gave elaboration here and it just didnt check out as the difference and why it's scummy in this scenario.
