@Fujishiro here's what I'm talking about by the way:
Starting from top to bottom - I ask Achro if he was planning on actually placing a vote that would go anywhere and he postures and says he'd prefer to go with his own leads.
Not long before the execution shebang he lays a case out on Polar Bear and insists on it in spite of input from other players and with EoD looming close
I think it's hard for me to reconcile him being insistent here on PB as anything less than knowing intentionally that he was going to split the wagon, we barely had 5 votes on the existing one and he's championing a 3rd axis, which fits the profile of what happened later with the execute. Make sense?
You were informed this is majority and seemed to take that to heart, we routinely run the risk here of not actually achieving lynch st all so I would strongly recommend voting someone you think has a chance of dying instead of this
I feel no need to vote anywhere other than suspicion until the last hour tbh.
Although the only thing keeping polar bear alive is everyone else's inaction. If we dream big enough anyone can die.
Anyway I guess since I don't like the direction of the day I should start playing seriously.
So I guess my problem with Polar Bear in a game with a lot of character, a lot of nuance, his posting has none of that and his suspicions are prime targets for this. His RDK suspicion is glorified OMGUS, his suspicion of Sky is the most generic response I have ever heard and when I followed up he basically just said words at me. This read's as someone's first attempt at appearing to be solving when really they aren't doing anything like solving. The whole asking questions bit being "classically scummy" or whatever lacks character that other suspects have in their favor, and also lacks coherence as a scum finding tactic as i don't believe for a second that on a broad scale scum ask more questions than town. Maybe an isolated incident, but this feels like something he read someone say one time and he is going "yeah, that sounds right."
I just don't believe polar bear's suspicions tbh. I have town reads on his suspects as well. Nothing about this iso satisfied me at any point. It is devoid of personality, of flavor, and of solving acumen. You say I should collapse into the topic's top pick? No, the topic should sheep me and watch as we kill this year's early contender for most obvious day 1 scum award in the form of this 1200 pound mammal.
Or do what you want I guess.
Can you please quote some of your favorite posts from Polar Bear?
If he is known to not have a good scum game then yeah I would send this 100% of the time lol. Even the "Luka said you were good at the game!" bit felt so painfully forced.
reminds me of sky in the mash flower talked about, now that i think about it.
@Polar Bear could you please pull the posts from me as of 645 that led to you to have me as confident town? ty.
Someone can tell me if this is null for Polar bear but making a list out of nowhere 600 posts after leaving with 0 commentary or real timing in between feels bad to me lol
No, I understand, however when it comes to ranges i always leave wiggle room for improvement in lesser skilled players. Unless he is just utterly hopeless and never learns or something.
