i get it if it's there to protect a joat maybe but on its own it just doesnt make much sense

i feel like if he were town, the point of a BP role would basically be for the player to act as a town leader in a way without fear of death from mafia
but thats similar to how i think of an IC (tho ig with lynches instead) and we have one here so i dont see both
