You know, at a certain point, we have to stop pretending Alexis is doing anything remotely useful for town. Every "read" he posts feels like a random word generator just spat out some names with absolutely no correlation to game state. It’s honestly impressive how consistently off-base one person can be — if I didn’t know better, I’d say he was running a masterclass in how to look busy without actually saying anything. But then again, that would require intention, and I’m not even sure Alexis is playing with that level of depth.
Let’s talk about his "solve" for a moment — or rather, his half-baked collection of thoughts that even a scum PR bot would be embarrassed to publish. The contradictions, the lack of development, the kneejerk pivots from "X is probably town" to "actually now they're scum for... vibes?" It’s the kind of progression you get when you're trying to reverse-engineer reads to fit a narrative — a narrative that, frankly, falls apart under the weight of its own nonsense. I’ve seen better thought process from players who replaced in halfway through D2.
And of course, every time he's challenged, we get this melodramatic "I guess I'm just wrong then" performance — like we're all supposed to pat him on the back for effort while he subtly walks back his own garbage logic. It’s manipulative in that lazy sort of way, where you can tell the goal isn’t to contribute but to evade. I don’t think I’ve seen a single moment where Alexis tried to genuinely engage in a hard discussion unless it involved parroting someone else’s argument and pretending it was his own.
What’s most irritating is how people are still giving him the benefit of the doubt. The bar is in hell and somehow Alexis is tunneling under it. If he were town, we’d expect at least one spark of clarity or consistency by now, not this slapdash "maybe this person is scum, unless they're not, but if they are it’s probably because of that thing someone else mentioned two pages ago" level of play. It’s performative, shallow, and above all, safe — exactly what you’d expect from someone trying not to ruffle the wrong feathers on a scum team.
At this point, keeping Alexis around is a liability. He’s not helping town solve, he’s not providing accurate reads, and he’s actively clogging up the thread with junk logic and performative frustration. This isn’t just null — it’s anti-town. We have better players actually trying to work through the game and being drowned out by Alexis’ self-important wall posts that somehow manage to say absolutely nothing of value.
So yeah, I’m voting Alexis. Not because I’m frustrated (though I am), and not because his posts are starting to feel like satire (though they are), but because his play actively harms town’s ability to coordinate and find wolves. If he flips town, I’ll be shocked, but at least the thread will be readable again. Lynch this mess.
