>author makes 2 trans mutant characters
>characters A's parents accept her being a mutant more than being trans (which makes no fucking sense in the context of marvel)
>Character A's power is to turn anything she touches into milk chocolate
>Character B's power is described by the author as
"Shela's ability to switch circumstances with another person is super fun to write, because it has so many different possible applications. If you're holding her at gunpoint, she can reverse it so she's holding you at gunpoint. If you're the Mayor of New York and she gets close to you, she can become the Mayor of New York for a while.

It's a power that has a lot of potential pitfalls, and there are plenty of ways it can go wrong. I had thought of this superpower a few years ago and had been looking for the right place to use it – and Shela seemed like the perfect person to wield this mighty power. "

Bro. These powers are fucking busted as shit.

And they did Soldier Boy dirty.

Literally nothing he has done so far that was bad was on purpose, and he has kept his word with Butcher and Hughie. Even killing Marvin's parents was an accident. Yet, Starlight tells him off at the end like he didn't fight in a world war.

Still better than what became of Umbrella Academy. Shit started out okay in season 1, became woke as shit in season 2, and now, in season 3, Vanya 'transitioned' into Viktor out of fucking nowhere, purely because the real life actor wants to LARP as a dude too. Shit was beyond cringe. :kobeha

I mean, the second one is, but is the first one really that busted?
Like, I know you can just one tap people with it (assuming it works on living creatures) but what else would you even do with turning stuff into milk chocolate? :hm

eh itd be kinda weird to keep having a transgender person play the original gender, i could see why they would do that

hopefully it's executed well though since most teams and studios i've seen havent really demonstrated they can write lgbt characters all that well and usually use it as a cash grab
