Sparking Zero’s got some nice gimmicks
We didn’t even need this kind of detail and they still went added it.

Very good sign of just how much time this game has been in the oven.

No rushed, buggy, needing a bazillion Day 1 patches to be playable like most Western AAA garbage here.

You thought I was done with Axed 8? I just wanted to take a break... as much as I want this shit to be over myself...

Chapter 16:

And we get the Moonfall/Planet fall(?) scene and again, something that would be cool in any other Manga(including ultimately destroying it) loses that shit in record pace in the Manga because AGAIN, Kishimoto has to keep on keeping on with his typical shit. Like in this instance, I can understand Daruma teaching Hachimaru the technique to destroy the falling Moon and time is of the essence but holy shit, you don't need to repeat the same ass shit of the "Holy Trinity" and it's importance constantly.

Also, I'm beginning to see what people stated is that the action is all over the place where I can't tell if the other Samurai was destroying the debris or not. That's not Kishimoto's handiwork but it does speak volumes that's it's gonna be harder to see shit like this due to the drawer themselves not being good at showing off action scenes.

Chapter 17:

Apparently the gag that Hachimaru wore himself out into skin and bones doing that technique... is actually canon and that's how much of a energy drain that was... that's extremely creepy. Of course, we get more exposition(God I thought we was done with this) in how special Hachimaru's Gravitional Pull is(No really, that's how they described that shit) in having Daruma fall to his lap before he became a Samurai, finding his Princess and having Ata as an enemy is because all Samurai operate in a similar fashion and blah, blah, blah.
I wouldn't even have an issue with this if it doesn't feel so damn hokey that somehow, his gravitational pull is so strong, everything just falls into his lap because "protagonist", it just feels so forced.
Hachi and Co. basically pull into a Space Port for supplies, 2 Thieves decide "We gonna hijack Daruma's shit" and do so, Daruma finds out and Hachi gets a new outfit(meh) and we find out that due to that technique, he now needs to perma tie his hair so that his Key doesn't constantly come up(ultra meh). Hachi and Co. then meet the thieves and I really don't care for their slapstick, fuck off.

Chapter 18:

So here we go with that stupid gag again(Basically Ryuu takes things literally all the time, even the most basic proverbs) but otherwise, Ryuu isn't really a bad fighter, just more odd the fucker is that strong as a basic ass Ronin with no Key Holder or otherwise. Then we get to dumb shenanigans(How the hell does Hachimaru screw up and think 17 million yen = 1700 yen? Is there a type of katakana that makes it harder to spot?) and then we get that "Oh yeah, TOURNAMENT ARC TIME!"
And I heard BAD THINGS about this Tournament Arc in how it's barely one in any perspective.

Chapter 19:

Okay so now we get to the training exercise with Ryuu and Hachimaru and.... sigh, I get what Kishimoto and the artist wanted to do here and holy shit, it does not work. Basically, they have either person score a point from any type of hit, even if it's a graze and the protagonist learns and gets better each and every time but it does not fucking show!
Hachimaru just gets cut to shit and Ryuu is going "Well he's regenerating at a fast rate"(When we don't see how long that typically takes that makes Hachimaru's that much different) and "Hachimaru is learning from me each and every little bit"(When we don't see that happen at all). So when Hachimaru finally scores a point on Ryuu through some ridiculous unorthodox shit(aka cut off his arm as he lunges his Samurai Soul forward and then cut off his own head to avoid a draw), it comes off far more unearned than anything else because when has Hachimaru shown any of the shit Ryuu told him? I'd believe Bandit Boy far more because the fight scenes for this is just that bad.

Chapter 20:

More tedium as basically Daruma states the same shit I did but only then do we get how Hachimaru's regen is faster than normal(Most Samurai take hours to regenerate a limb, Hachimaru took a a minute) and that basically Samurai regenerate from the Head first then down. Ryu is an amnesiac as we are told AGAIN and has no idea who he ever was and we reached the Battle Royale and surprise, it really is basically like Fortnite so let's go!

Chapter 21:

And I already regret it because I forgot they tear right through most of the Battle Royal offscreen. Yes, I know showing over 1500 battles individually is unrealistic, why bother having that many in the first goddamned place if you will already take it down to less than 100?! Otherwise, we get Hachimaru being retarded which nearly got Ann killed except a Samurai and his Princess save her ass, scolds Hachi and tells him the usual shit(seriously is this motherfucker Daruma?) and thus Hachimaru finally beings to awaken as a TRUE Samurai at long last and I just do not give a fuck...
This is moving way too goddamned fast and unbelievable and again, I can see why people quit reading this manga.
