Uh technically mate, she actually (wasn't for the most part).
Despite having somewhat frizzy curly hair, I always had some personal doubts regarding the notion that April even looked black in the original comics. Since even white women had hair styles like that back in the 80's.
I did read somewhere that she was also kinda at some point based off of Kevin Eastman's then-wife, April Fisher:
Who is stated to be of mixed-race, albeit white-passing.
So you can maybe argue that April was biracial (maybe of Irish/Scottish/English ancestry and Black African ancestry) or racially ambiguous at best. Any comic scans with April being fully black were just silly non-canon scans submitted by guest indie creators in a contest or something.
For your convenient reference, his blog post explains it all:
@Astaro Hell, April was even at one point originally conceived to be an Asian character in some early concept notes before being finally decided upon by both Peter and Kevin to be white.
I like skyrim a lot but I feel obligated to mod the hell out of skyrim whenever I play. With morrowind I generally just want better graphics (well that and a furniture mod, I need to autistically sort my scroll collection into a wine bottle holder leave me alone!) With skyrim I want more interesting stories, characters, and mechanics.
Im also a fan of oblivion despite it's short comings and consider it better then skyrim. The first time I did a water walking on touch spell and named it jesus horse I felt like a god. The simplification of systems, especially the magic system has really harmed my enjoyment of skyrim to the extent I basically mod an entire new system to enjoy magic.
