To be fair, that was meant to be absolutely intentional that he looks like Zangetsu since that IS him from a thousand years ago thanks to the Blu-Ray of the TYBW Anime proving he looked just like Zangetsu when he fought Yamamoto back then.
Doesn't stop the fact that he isn't that unique as a design or character though(Which the anime only heavy lifted recently with tying his goal thanks to all of the souls he absorbed gave him the fear of death AND wanting to get rid of it so others don't have to ever fear it).
AEW Dynamite - We end with Darby Allin getting a TNT title match for All In and getting the I quit win in Blood and Guts via threatening to burn a man alive. A little overboard for a Babyface but he's meant to be nuts isn't he so okay, fine.
AEW Rampage (2 days later) - Darby Allin not only competes in the Royal Rampage match to earn a World title match for the next PPV after All In but fucking WINS?
Meanwhile Adam Page whose beef with Swerve Strickland (you know, the world champion) was the most entertaining part of B&G, not only isn't even in the match itself but only comes out to eliminate Jeff Jarrett...because he un-hand cuffed Swerve at B&G, which allowed Adam to actually get his hands on Swerve more, while it was the Young Bucks who threatened to FIRE HIM that forced away from Swerve in the first place.
PLEASE tell me I'm not the only one who finds all this completely non-sensical. Not just because it'll be the THIRD straight Babyface vs Babyface World title match on a PPV in a row for AEW, but because the blood feud title match between Swerve Strickland and Adam Page seems like such a no-brainer to me (title needs to be involved because Adam doesn't feel Swerve deserves it) and Tony seems dead set against doing it in favor of far less interesting match-ups, IT'S BIZARRE!
