At least it's the OG voice for Stitch but he just looks like a stuffed animal. I don't know it just doesn't look right to me.
Especially when I can compare it to the Sonic cast and how good they look (especially in 3), it falls short.

It doesn't look TERRIBLE because it doesn't look like they're actually changing much but of course that just raises the question of why do it at all, though the answer is obviously just to make a quick buck.

It's not gonna save them from the disaster than is Snow White though.

This still can't be anywhere near as bad as the live-action remakes of the Little Mermaid or Snow White right?

Unlikely considering this at least seems to be a faithful retelling of the original movie that isn't trying to fix non-existent "problems" with the source material.

At worst I suspect it'll end up being forgettable just like most of the earlier Live Action Remakes.

And I assume probably nothing will ever top the shitstorm that is The Little Mermaid remake in terms of the original Disney animated source material taking the liberties with being "fixed" for its non-existent "problems".

Yes?

Snow White might actually have it beat in that department, I mean they literally dropped fundamental aspects of the story because they didn't want the character to desire true love or be saved.

Not to mention obviously altering what being the "fairest of them all" means because they cast someone to play the Queen who was FAR better looking than the person playing Snow White.

The fact this isn't even the ONLY adaptation of the story where that happened (although the other didn't bother changing what fairest meant) is mind-boggling to me 'cause it should be a fairly easy thing to avoid.

So not even the act of raceswapping redheaded fair-skinned Ariel and a few other characters from the 1989 film could make the TLM remake as bad as the Snow White remake huh mate?

Casting Rachel Zegler as Snow White is cringe, but still not quite as over-the-top bad or controversial as what they did to Ariel by choosing to cast Halle Bailey as her no?

However you might have a point about all the inherent plot and intrinsic character changes in Snow White otherwise.

I mean the race for one of these characters is literally tied into their NAME and WHY that is their name. So yes, I do think it's worse.

In Little Mermaid, if anything, the issue was that they half-assed it and made it nonsensical. If you WANT Ariel to be black, set the movie in a pre-dominantly black region and have the majority of the cast be black to match her. Ala Princess and the Frog.

They wanted to change things but also keep it the same and it just didn't work.

Snow White on the other hand is, as I said before, an intrinsically WHITE character. The clue is in the bloody name, so there's really no way to change that without breaking the entire story.

Yeah there's really no question that Snow White's story is far more damaged than Little Mermaid's ended up being, to the point they're not even telling the same story at this point.

Just finished the newest ep of Sentai Red

I admit I haven't gotten into sentai yet(gonna start with abaranger tho cause dino thunder is my favorite season), but Red seem's really op for a single sentai member lol.

He went toe-to-toe with multiple rider forms, and defeated a super rider form, all solo, right after taking a finishing move, no heals either
