Just released from his AEW contract in February, the Bulgarian is said to have inked a deal to return at WWE HQ today.

So Rusev/Miro has officially re-signed with the WWE after escaping Khantanamo Bay.
Don't know what the hell you do with him really but I guess the mid-card title picture could use more names. 🤷‍♂️

Unrelated to Rusev, but apparently KO is dealing with an undisclosed injury that could take him out of Wrestlemania and his match with Orton, which is not good for either of them.

If the injury is real, I hope he's still good enough to get in the ring for that match with Orton and THEN take some well-deserved time off after.

Yeah that's not a good look considering theirs is one of the better non-main event feuds going into this Mania. Though frankly it wouldn't surprise me if he's injured with how brutal his Rumble and Chamber matches were, the man's taking a pounding lately.

As you say, hopefully he's well enough to do the Mania match, which should end with Randy punting him anyway. That gives him a good story reason for him to be out for a while so he can rest up.

It feels like this WrestleMania is filler and we're all just waiting for the cards to reshuffle with the new signings and callups. Cena and Cody is the only match that feels important.
 
The problem with the "remakes" (live action or not) is that nothing good comes out. The technology is so advanced now and yet they barely use it. They would rather pay actors tens of millions rather that using that cash for the technical side of things.
Even with a complete script (the movie they are remaking), they still find a way to put their "vision" in. If I was promised Cinderella, I expect Cinderella, not Sneakerella (yes, that's a thing).

What's next, a Hansel and Gretel where Gretel girlbosses the witch around and makes a plan to punish their father (even if it was the stepmother's fault) and then have the witch give Gretel her jewelry because Gretel is a strong, independent woman?

Now we're gonna need to scramble to get Randy another match for Mania. I GUESS we could do Aleister Black for his re-debut (ala Cody vs Seth) but Black would obviously need to win that match and I don't know if they have plans for Black already.

Only issue there is Backlash is gonna be in St Louis so there's no way Randy isn't headlining that show and headlining after a Wrestlemania LOSS would be pretty weird.

I don't know who else they have whose a big enough name to have a Wrestlemania match with Orton on such short notice, who isn't already on the card. 🤔



Really thought Solo was gonna screw Jacob here and that would be their Wrestlemania match.
I have to assume Solo will screw Jacob at Mania itself then 'cause otherwise, LA Knight is getting destroyed and losing that title AGAIN.

Yeah, I saw this before I went to bed. Sad to hear, but man needs to protect his health. If it genuinely is this bad, I wish him all the best in recovery and hope he can make it back.(Then again he came out dressed in pink so a small part of me is getting Mark Henry "retirement" vibes here, but that's probably just copium.) :wow

As for Randy? If KO is fully out I have no clue. Maybe Nick Aldis? You could make the case he got pissed off at Randy for the RKOs and disrespect? Not a lot, but it's something.(And also would give Magnus a Wrestlemania match for the first time in his career.)

Also genuinely thought Solo vs Jacob was a lock for Mania, which would've been another good match to have on the card, for the sake of elevating Jacob, but I guess they'll be waiting for Summerslam to fully pull the trigger on their match?(Because either Solo messes up here and costs him the Mania match against Knight, or he WINS, gives Knight another loss that I doubt will allow him to leave the midcard, since HHH seems determined to waste LA's time, and Jacob loses the title at the PPV before Summerslam thanks to Solo interference, and THAT's the catalyst for the turn and match between them.)
