OBD Convo #59: RealxEyes

modern ones. almost everything past 10.
So what do you mean by them being "movie-games" then? How linear they are/not having enough exploration? Frankly I prefer that to having oversized open areas that exist solely for the sake of it and just end up feeling empty no matter how many secrets there are.

Basically if we use the main villains
Zhuqaiomon - is a divine beast in most of his representation and he was barely a villain in tamers.
Beelzemon/impmon help more than actually being an antagonist.
D-reaper having no actual form probably hurt digimon tamers more than it did.
5 and 6, had bagramon and belphemon.

Tamers tried to have all the villains be morally grey and honestly I do think it did HURT the series in that it didn't have at least ONE major villain who was just evil, 'cause most Tamers villains just ended up forgettable except for Impmon obviously.
5 and 6, had bagramon and belphemon.
Savers had Kurata, that dude was a BASTARD, it didn't need anything else.
Xros Wars had Darkknightmon who was peak too although his ending was meh.

Battles actually being a movie. I have no problem if the cinematic is happening outside of battles like increasing your viewing for cities and events. but when they take over battles that's the type of shit I practically dislike.
Ah yes now I see what you mean and I agree with this.

In fairness, only XVI really did this mid-fight (and it IS an issue when you're re-doing fights for whatever reason and can't skip cutscenes as a result of it) while XIII-2 only put it in for some extra spectacle at the end of fights. I don't remember the others doing it at all.

I don't see Digimon doing this anytime soon, I imagine the huge Jupitermon is just a cutscene thing.

imagine now at some point, a proper popeye anime

Pardon my fucking french? The sequel series that completely annihilated the entire point of it's original series, basically made the protagonists completely worthless in the face of it's new, extremely boring and milquetoast equivalents, going so full retard with the power scaling and yet not at the same time...

Is better than Dragonball Super at being a sequel series to Dragonball?

The internet was a fucking mistake to allow dogshit opinions like these to manifest into the ether.

You know come to think of it, I would actually love to see Pokemon crossover with Dinosaur King or Mega Man NT Warrior.

Or outside of video games, a Pokemon crossover with say Aliens or Predator would be pretty cool.

Or better yet, Hello Kitty, Doraemon, Osomatsu, Chibi Maruko Chan, and maybe Crayon Shin Chan would be the best for me.

Meanwhile outside of Hello Kitty/Sanrio, Yugioh mainly crosses over with either:
- Shonen Jump series like Bobobo and Naruto and others via the Jump video games like "Jump Super/Ultimate Stars" or "Jump Force"

- Konami's franchises like Metal Gear, Goemon, Gradius*, Parodius*, and Salamander*

*Granted, those are Type 2 crossovers, but they still appear as actual Yugioh cards (and same for Goemon)...

The dude is literally a Naruto scaler.

It makes perfect sense why someone like him would make a doo-doo take like this.

@Adamant soul This game trolling me literally.
1 stat away from actually evolving.

Getting to the level requirement only to realize you don't meet the stat requirements feels bad man.

The worst ones are when they make a canon evolution really hard to get, like how Wormmon has to get to lvl30 to get enough speed to evolve to Stingmon, while most Child levels can evolve at lvl14-18.

I got a Program a literal 3rd party program, that can actually fix digivolution line and digivolution requirement I'm just too lazy to edit 777 digimon.

Oh wait there's 778.

Was actually fixing this for those broken digivolution but I only edited the ones I'm currently using.
