Happy Easter everyone! :TrgJustice:
Fun Love GIF

Here we go. Just in time for tonight. (I released it at 7 but that proved to be the wrong time so reupload here.)

WHICH IS #1?

Note, night one is not included here. We all know the real main event closes night two.

Smackdown in the books, we're less than an hour from Stand and Deliver so I might as well get my Wrestlemania Weekend predictions on here.

NXT Stand & Deliver

6 Man Tag Team Match -
D'Angelo Family (Tony D'Angelo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Luca Crusafino) vs Dark State

Winners - Dark State wins because Stacks betrays the Don. Aside from the fact that they've done a good job of booking the Nexus-like collection or LVL Up talent to look strong, even giving them a win over the Stand & Deliver men's main event match, so they're not gonna have them lose their first PPV match to mid-carders.

Fatal 4 Way Women's Tag Match (winners become #1 Contenders for the WWE Women's Tag Titles) - Meta Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) vs Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Jacy Jane) vs Gigi Dollin and Tatum Paxley vs Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade

Winners - Meta Four, the WWE is high on these girls and I can't see Liv and Raquel dropping the titles to Bayley and Lyra when one the latter is already the Intercontinental Champion.

Tag Team Championship - (C) Fraxion (Nathan Frazier and Axiom) vs Hank Walker and Tank Ledger

Winners - Hank and Tank pull of the upset victory to become the new Tag Champs. They're coming into this off a months long story of a losing streak that they just broke by winning a gauntlet match against the rest of the Division. They have the crowd behind them so I don't see them losing. Not to mention Fraxiom need to drop the belts to move up to the main roster.

Women's North American Title 6 Woman Ladder Match - Zaria vs Sol Ruca vs Kelani Jordan vs Izzi Dame vs Lola Vice vs Thea Hail.

Winner - Izzy Dame wins the belt. Strictly speaking, Zaria or Sol Ruca are the only ones who should win the belt but them being partners I suspect they'll get in each other's way. Kelani was already the first person to hold the belt, Lola is meh and Thea JUST came back from a lengthy hiatus from TV. There's a chance they COULD have Thea win, but with Izzy being part of a Heel faction that NEEDS a big win after Spears lost the NA title to Ricky, I think that just makes more sense to me.

North American Title Match - (C) Ricky Saints vs Ethan Page

Winner - Ricky beats Ethan clean. Fairly straight forward here, Ricky is already one of their biggest names on NXT and he literally just won this belt not even three full weeks ago so he's not losing it already.

Women's Championship Fatal 4 Way - (C) Stephanie Vaquer vs Giulia vs Jordynne Grace vs Jaida Parker

Winner - Stephanie retains. Had they NOT had her relinquish the NA title then I could see them just having Giulia win the title back here, but with that having happened and Stephanie being as, if not more, over than Giulia then I can't see her losing.

NXT Championship Triple Threat - (C) Oba Femi vs Trick Williams vs Jevon Evans

Winner - Oba Femi pins Trick Williams to retain. I see this as being Trick's last hurrah before he moves up to the main roster. They'll want Jevon to stay in the hunt as an underdog and they're just not taking the title off Oba this quickly.

I'll do Wrestlemania in a separate post.

When there are no buses in your neighborhood because of some parade this Saturday that you had to walk all the way to the subway to get to Times Square to go meet up with a group at Olive Garden and see a play at New Victory Theater and even though you are half an hour late at 11:59 pm, you are actually the third person to make it to Olive Garden before everyone else:

But it’s been over half an hour as you wait in your seat by the entrance and you still don’t know where the hell everyone else is:

Wrestlemania Night 1

Jade Carghill vs Naomi

Winner -
Jade Carghill. Even though Naomi has been killing it with this new heel character (though her outfits look stupid), I don't see a world where they let her go over Jade UNLESS Bianca turns heel and helps her. They could paint it as accidental here only for the real turn to happen in the triple threat but I doubt it at this point.

El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) vs Rey Mysterio

Winner -
El Grande is gonna cheat to win. They're not gonna kill this shit already by revealing him as Chad Gable, less than a month after it started and, frankly, it's the only reason anybody cares about LWO vs American Made so yeah.

World Tag Team Championship Match - (C) The War Raiders (Erik and Ivar) vs The New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston)

Winners - War Raiders retain due to the return of Big E. Basically because NOTHING else would justify this match even being on the Wrestlemania card otherwise.

United States Championship Match - (C) LA Knight vs Jacob Fatu

Winner - Jacob Fatu wins to become the new US Champion. Yeah I'm basing this on the fact that LA Knight went over Solo and Jacob on the go-home show so, as the cliche goes, Jacob should go over on the show. The ONLY way Jacob ISN'T winning this title is if Solo Sikoa screws him out of it.

WWE Women's Championship Match - (C) Tiffany Stratton vs Charlotte Flair

Winner - Tiffany Stratton retains. Yeah I'm going out on a limb for this one, largely because of the unprofessionalism between the pair that started with Charlotte deliberately trying to make Tiffany look as bad as possible. Hoping it prompts WWE to NOT put the title back on her. I'm well aware that this is a long shot but it's what I'm going with.

World Heavyweight Championship Match - (C) Gunther vs Jey Uso

Winner - Jey Uso wins. I don't even need to explain this one, we can't always go with the obvious answer but here, unless they want to kill Jey's hype completely, it is really the only option that they have.

Triple Threat Match - Roman Reigns vs CM Punk vs Seth Rollins

Winner - CM Punk wins by pinning Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman is still conflicted between Punk and Reigns and that feud continues to a climax at the 2 night-Summerslam.

Wrestlemania Night 2

Randy Orton Open Challenge

Opponent -
Nick Aldis. Allister Black is pretty much confirmed to be re-debuting on Smackdown next week so the only other option would be a returning Rusev and, while that is an option, I still think Nick Aldis makes the most sense as a match Randy can win without hurting a returning superstar's momentum.

AJ Styles vs Logan Paul

Winner -
AJ Styles. This is his first big show match since returning from injury (asiide from the Rumble match obviously), he's not losing to fucking Logan Paul.

Sin City Street Fight - Drew Macintyre vs Damien Priest

Winner - Drew Macintyre. He NEEDS the win after losing so much earlier in the Mania build to get him back in the main event scene for the rest of 2025 where he belongs. Damien doesn't really need it, in fact giving him a clean L should help alleviate some of people's complaints about him lately.

WWE Women's Tag Championship Match - (C) Judgement Day (Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez) vs Bayley and Lyra Valkyria

Winners - Liv and Raquel retain due to usual Judgement Day shenanigans, frustrated Bayley assaults Lyra after the fact. As I said before, this can depend on who wins the tag match on Stand & Deliver but I can't see them putting the tag titles on a newly made tag team who were having a match mere days before they earned this title match. Using it to further Lyra vs Bayley makes more sense to me.

Intercontinental Championship Fatal 4 Way - (C) Bron Breakker vs Penta vs Dominik Mysterio vs Finn Balor

Winner - Penta wins the belt while the Judgement Day boys end up screwing each other. Much as I'd love Bron's title reign to continue, it's clear WWE wants to push Penta and an IC title win at Wrestlemania is a nice way of doing that.

Women's World Championship Triple Threat Match - (C) Iyo Sky vs Rhea Ripley vs Bianca Bel Air

Winner - Iyo Sky retains. Everything about the story being told, tells me that Iyo should win because the other two are disregarding her and are too focused on each other. The only way one of the others winning makes sense is if Bianca turns full heel and Naomi comes out to help her.

Undisputed WWE Championship Match - (C) Cody Rhodes vs John Cena

Winner - John Cena wins his 17th World Championship due to interference from The Rock. It doesn't make sense to commit to one of the biggest heel turns of all time and then NOT pull the trigger on him winning the belt, especially as Cody has went over in both of their physical exchanges leading up to it. The idea being that Cody is the better wrestler but John is willing to do whatever he has to do.

Phew..finished that just in time.
Stand and Deliver starts in 12 minutes and I might as well watch it since it's actually starting at a decent time for me for a change. :maybe

My face when you just realized after rereading your online flier that you had to be at the New Victory Theater to see Moya Zip Zap Circus with your group first BEFORE going to Olive Garden for lunch because the instructions were unclear and you had to walk all the way there with your other two group members and when you get there you find out the show is actually almost over and you only saw the last minutes of the play on TV at the lobby and your group leader reveals that she didn’t answer your calls while you were on the 7 Train before the play started because she accidentally left her phone at home and you feel even dumber that you made the biggest cock-up today:

But you’ll have a nice meal at Olive Garden and chill out at the newly expanded Dave & Buster’s here in Times Square to make up for that shit:

Welp NXT well and truly Stood and Delivered. :maybe
Boooooooooooooooooooooooo
Oh come on I had to do it. :mjgrin

Nah seriously though, Stand and Deliver was a damn good show, I was 5:2 on predictions.

The women's tag ended up on the pre-show and was just kind of whatever. I did like that Tatum and Gigi won it and, later in the show, they did remind me that Tatum and Lyra are "friends" (really Tatum was her stalker but they did eventually become friends) so it's impossible they'll go with Bayley and Lyra winning but I still doubt it.

Opening the biggest show of NXT and the technical start of Wrestlemania weekend, with a match between two former AEW stars (Ricky and Ethan) has gotta be SOME kind of direct message to Tony Khan. Even if it wasn't, the quality of the match and the "TONY FUMBLED" chants would serve to deliver that anyway. Solid opener and Tony absolutely did fumble both these guys.

The Men's Tag Team Match was AMAZING (I expect nothing less from Fraxiom and they never disappoint), but surprisingly WASN'T the highlight of the show. Still Hank and Tank showed out and impressed the hell out of me, that was a performance worthy of becoming the new tag champs and I actually like that there was no mis-communication or turn from either Axiom or Frazier. They teased it by kicking a hand-shake away but it was so they could hug them instead, classy moment.

The ladder match was better than the first one last year but I still didn't particularly enjoy it. I didn't hate it, I liked that Sol Ruca actually did win even if it made my prediction wrong and I liked that it was genuinely hard for Zaria and Sol to fight each other, even though the title was on the line. What can I say, their tag team stuff (or rather their friendship) is growing on me so it's going to be sad when it eventually falls apart because of this title.

The D'Angelos vs Dark State was a solid 6 man tag match, even if the ending was a predictable. You could tell they KNEW it was predictable though because they kept Stack's betrayal throughout and you were just waiting for the moment when it actually happened. It had the desired effect, the crowd immediately went into "FUCK YOU STACKS" chants as Dark State won.

The women's Fatal 4 Way was...kind of a let down. It wasn't bad by any means but, considering you got three of the best Women's Wrestlers in the world in this match (and Jaida Parker), even I expected a lot better than we got. Did NOT expect Parker to take the pin considering how much she's been protected before but it was the correct decision IMO. Good match, just not as good as it should have been.

The Triple Threat MAIN EVENT however, was fucking PEAK. These three guys, Trick, Jevon and Oba beat the holy hell out of each other. I DARE any of these simps who were arguing for the women to main event, to tell me with a straight face that this match did not deserve to be the main event. There was even a point where I thought they MIGHT actually have Jevon win this and make himself the youngest champion in WWE history (at 20)...but it didn't happen and the Ruler is still the ruler.

Overall great show, set the bar high for Wrestlemania, now it's time (in just over two hours) to see if the showcase of the immortals shows out or drops the ball big time. :maybe
