for the fuji point, he can both think fuji was telling the truth about joking but still think he's scum. i don't know why you'd suggest he couldn't as it can just be someone feeling as though the joke was unnecessary/scummy. id think it's idiotic for someone think he was being srs tho or trying to bait the main character to counter claim because as fuji stated there's no reason to assume someone would actually do that.
for the following line, i felt the exact same way as he did. it felt like you had a narrow focus on flower and weren't really commentating on much of anything else. you may have been noticing things and just withholding commentary to see it play out but it obviously wouldn't look that way to others as it isn't something you outright stated.
this was his defense, which seems fair for the point about fuji. fair about flower.
he had no comment on the interaction you asked him for, which seems more normal for town gad than him having such a concrete read on flower.
same with the yoho stuff. gad always states he struggles with any real day 1 reads and this looks on point for that.
aside from this opening stuff, you then accused him of backfilling a town flower read. that could be a legit thing and probably your best point that he formed a strong town read on flower then used it to sus you for only focusing on flower.
id also say it's hardly an endorsement, largely because i feel like his play is still not normal to his typical town play which i already said which is also why i said dont really care if you push him. i just dont find any of his play outright scummy so far so im looking at other things.
