You all know we are getting a double spread of Buggy about t9 be fodderize. Only for Xrocodile and Mihawk to come in and protect him.
 
I mean how convenient for Buggy that he has two top 20 popular characters who happen to be powerful.
 
I know everyone likes Buggy and I agree it was an amazing chapter but the real question is.

How will Crocodile plan this attack vs. Yonkou and Who is Mihawk matching up with first?

If I'm being honest. Crocodile being who he is. I can see him going after Blackbeard first. He seems to mock Blackbeard in Impel Down. I think Mihawk will want to take Shanks/Luffy last.

Or do they break put Doflamingo? That's been a popular theory.

Also with Perona's connection to Mihawk are they going to Hachinos and taking Moria?
 

Feels like CG is going to get sidelined fighting the Marines after they waged war on them, so I can see them facing one of the Admirals. Probably for the best because Shanks and Blackbeard are too plot-protected while a battle with the Marines is a more unpredictable result. Fujitora vs Cross Guild would have great potential because it was his campaign against the Warlords that caused this group to form in the first place.

As for recruitment, some people have taken Chapter 0 as foreshadowing for Cross Guild's future; the Warlords are my favorite group in the manga, so I'd be down for it.
 

both of these reminded me of one of caps Chaos just posted about Doffy and Croc meeting, where they’re both trying to recruit each other. So they seem to have interest working together but neither would ever work under the other, I can see a breakout happening and doffy joining cross guild
 
Well if they can go to Impel Down. I can see a Magellan revenge thing. Mihawk will pull an epic feat and destroy him. Which is the feat Mihawk needs probably more than anyone else.

Thus will be how Fujitora vs. Mihawk will start I suppose.
 
I feel like a Fujitora vs Mihawk thing is needed because honestly it needs to be define what is considered a "Swordsman" in One Piece verse.

Plus I kinda want to see Magellan again. Doflamingo seems to think highly of him.
 
Forget about these puny details. Is nobody going to mention the fact that Buggy's the first character to make Mihawk shit himself on panel?



Jokes aside - It's very hard to determine. Mihawk kind of cemented his spot as Zoro's final battle, but I don't see the Guild surviving past BB's role. Maybe Zoro and Mihawk will team up to eliminate a common enemy before facing each other? Crazy royal rumble between Hawk, Shiryu, Zoro and Building Snake with Zoro and Hawk being the last ones standing? I can't really tell.


Fuck, they could end up creating an alliance to face Shanks and BB. Buggy probably figures Luffy is gullible enough to take advantage of, especially if he plays the "I helped you and your friends at Marineford" card. That'd be classic Oda.

But I don't think Mihawk or Crocodile look bad at all tgis chapter to be honest. If anything I think Buggy kinda knows he has a crew to compete.
 
i dont think they looked bad at all, thats just the power level junkies looking to find any way to say shanks>mihawk

buggy pulling one over on them is great because they're strong, they got played, it doesn't make them look pathetic at all to me

At least, not in a way that is out of character

Mihawk doesn’t have the ambition to be Pirate King. Crocodile had the ambition but got dunked on so bad he is now overly cautious and cares about Utopia plans more.

Croc schemes, Mihawk is lethargic. But Buggy wants the prize more.

Buggy is a good foil because he mirrors both of them pretty well. Buggy is a former pirates that sort of gave up on, or at least put his dream on hold because he felt he was out matched, so he made a team of underlings while not pursuing the OP—just like Crocodile

Like Mihawk, Buggy was a complacent warlord with ties to Shanks that also didn’t set sail for the One Piece

I think Buggy called then out because he was at the end of his rope, and he realized that fate somehow placed him at such a high status. Hopefully Buggy won’t dissapoint. This is a pretty great character chapter.

No stress for me either way, I'm just here for the ride. I'm just waiting to have the city lose 4 championships in the same year. It'd be unique. Think Philly would be alone in that.

But yeah, Buggy was some real good shit this past chapter.
