Don't underestimate the Smurfs. Despite their size, they are very powerful thanks to magic.
Papa Smurfs can control weather. He can create a small cloud that can shoot lightnings and hail.
He also has certain control over light. He uses light to cover himself with shadows. Papa Smurfs can trap people on the ground and give mobility to trees.
He can also uses potions to change the appearance of people. Papa Smurf can turn people into animals and viceversa.
Papa Smurf also posseses a magic cane that allows him to restore destroyed things and make people and things dissapear and appear on another place.
Papa Smurf also has an invisibility potion that can use on himself and others. He can also turn the village invisible to protect it from flying enemies.
In one episode, the Smurfs learn a magic word, Kaplowey, from a magic scroll. That word allows them to make things disappear from the world when they are angry. They can erase animals, clouds, rocks and other people.
Papa Smurf destroyed the Kaplowey Scroll so the erased things will reappear when the Kaplowey word is used.
In another episode, Gargamel and Papa Smurf used the Crown of Dreams, a crown that makes the nightmares of another people real.
Another episode introduces the Crown of the Titans, two crowns used by the Titans of Myths in a war that allows the users to mind control the others. Papa Smurf used a spell to protect himself from mind control.
Papa Smurf also has Time Scrolls and Time Crystals that allows him to time travel.
On another episode, Brainy Smurf created a potion that turned him into a smurf version of Superman. Brainy Smurf, now called Supersmurf, can fly and fight against Big Mouth, a giant. Supersmurf created earthquakes when he throws Big Mouth to the ground several times. Supersmurf is also strong enough to lift Big Mouth and throw him far away,
Sadly, the potion effects don't last long enough.
Smurfs have a long live thanks to the Long-Life Stone. It is a crystal, contained in a magic box that can be opened by a special key, which controls the aging process of a Smurf. But the stone power only lasts 1000 years, so they need to replenished it with pure sources of the four primal elements to restore its power.
The Smurfs also has in their possession the Medallion of Poseidon, a medal that can create a natural cataclysm. Gargamel activated it with a spell and the Medallion almost destroyed the Smurf village and all the kingdom. But Papa Smurf used a spell to stop the medallion and destroyed the medal by throwing it to the lava.
Handy Smurf can create artificial smurfs. Clockwork Smurf can lift a metal door bigger than a average human.
Handy also created an artificial dragon that can be piloted by four Smurfs. Its flames can damage a real dragon.
Smurfs are also very agile. They can dodge the flames of a dragon and lightning. Papa Smurf can react to light beams.
Tracker Smurf has a sense of smell that enables him to track down various things like truffles, humans, his fellow Smurfs, and basically anything else. He can sense when weather is changing. He can sense blizzards and storms.
