Same issue for me. The images never load for me whenever I check out CVI prefer comicvine, at least when the images are loading (for some reason they don't seem to all be loading on my end nowadays)
Comicvine embeds images better than most forums tend to be able to do so (also just sheer volume it allows), the reliance on hyperlinks everywhere else lends to fuckers not actually clicking the source.
I guess the latter is true tho
