Spring 2023 Anime Season Discussion Thread

What I'm interested in and definitely going to watch from last season:
Maou Gakuin season 2
Vinland Saga season 2
Nier Automata: The Animation
Fate/Grand Order: Fujimaru Ritsuka wa Wakarani

Sadly with this season, I'm kind of boned:

- Maou Gakuin 2 has been on hiatus since after airing episode 6 due to COVID-19 breaking out in the studio
- Nier Automata: The Animation had the same issue as above but its returned to production though about month to 2 months behind schedule before it concludes
- Vinland Saga being 2-cour/24+ episodes and we're only halfway through its run at episode 13

What I plan on picking up for this spring season:

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen
Kono subarashii Megumin Sekai ni Bakuen Wo!
Mobile Suit Gundam: Suisei no Majo season 2

What I might pick up this season too:

- Kawaisugi Crisis
 
each new season, less and more less interesting anime to watch, really zzzzz levels

only a very limited amount of them is kinda good anymore, smh, really things have changed
 
Gridman Universe is probably the only one here I'll watch (when it eventually comes out in English sub, hopefully at cinemas)

Kawaisugi Crisis
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury 2
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaiji no Sato-hen/season 3
Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo!
 
Hell's Paradise is amazing. I am watching that one. Also Heavenly Delusion.
 
I'm thinking of watching the following:

Tonikawa S2
Konosuba
Oshi no Ko
Loving Yamada kun
In Another World with my Smartphone S2
Insomniacs after School
The Reason why Raeliana Ended up at The Duke's Mansion

Raeliana is actually from a Manhwa, a pretty good one, and I was surprised when I saw it was getting an adaptation.

Insomniacs after school is made by LindenFilms which is a studio known for its good animation.

Some of the most antecipated anime this season would be Konosuba, Tonikawa and Oshi No Ko.

I'm watching Konosuba.

I tend to not watch things that get a lot of hype idk why, like AoT (although I watched S1 some years ago) and KmY.

It seems like Oshi no Ko got rank #1 on MAL after the 1st episode. 9.38 average score.

Ah didn't see it earlier so I must've have missed it. And yeah I've never been a fan of Attack on Titan and never watched past season 1 myself.
 
Interesting though my schedule is pretty full now:

- Edomea Elf
- Isekai One Turn Kill Neesan
- Konosuba Megumin spin-off (i.e. NOT season 3 in all but name)
- Vinland Saga 2 (carrying over from the winter season)
- Gundam: The Witch from Mercury 2
- Kimetsu no Yaiba season 3
- Kaiwaigai Crisis

Just too much on my plate
 
Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudou is something I'm thinking of picking up at this point
 
This Ousama Ranking season is pretty off by modern anime standards. It's basically just a bunch of side-stories/filler, but it's well produced and varies a lot per episode, usually making things not having to do with Boji being the better parts. I know the show was well received, but I kind of wonder how they decided to do this season and got the thumbs up.
