Strongest space cops in fiction

How strong can the Space Sheriffs get? If they're anything like Super Sentai or Kamen Rider, then they'd be pretty ridonkulous.

though they're actually primarily for keeping order within Decepticon ranks, hunting down traitors and such

They get pretty silly by Shaider in terms of dealing with shit like hax, but you can probably scale their stuff with Sentai and Rider given one of the Taisen flicks establish them all living in the same universe, and Space Sheriffs do frequently hang with Sentai heroes lately.
 
the modern next gen of the metal heroes, have fought with the likes of dekarangers and kyurangers

not to mention

they

also had their own movies, where sentai heroes also make cameo too

and obv the original ones from the 80's scale to them (since they are stronger and more experienced) and got also their own amount of crazy feats from their own tv series back there
