“Alway the cockpit when will the enemy stop using cheap tricks!” Kane said as he try his best to lift his arm to tank the hits so none can penetrate the glass of the Condor, before the engine of the Scrander roar, as he then started flying toward the Mechasaur, as he lifted up his fist!

“Atomic Punch!” Great fist would fly out, as it flew rapidly, not letting the laser slow it down as he was aiming to cause the beast to make evasive maneuver, so he could use the scrander sharp wing to slice into it!

Liam began sputtering, clearly unsure how to defend himself fron the Imperium crew's accusations, however his mumbling was stopped by a rumble in the distance, a colorful explosion that reminded him of the portal that brought him here in the first place.

"I offer to come as well," he tried to say diplomatically, even if is words came in unsure stutters, "the Null, my machine, is equipped with an advanced sensor suite, maybe I can track where it landed?"

Reminded himself of the portal that he so stubbornly kept on analizing, Liam hoped that he could use the data aquired to make sense of what was happening.

The Hell?! That machine wasn't part of the briefing!
"You'll find that moments like the one that just transpired make the price of our fees quite worth it." McKallister emphasized the plural pronouns to let it be known to their clients and allies that he was just the one of a four man band of magitech enhanced warriors with their own quartet of marvelous mechanical superweapons.

Crimson Thunderbird emerged from the pile of reddening snow, pterosaur guts and cybernetic pieces that was once a mechasaur. It cried out and shook its mechanical wings, generating some gusts that whistled between mountain peaks as it began to take flight once more, firing its lasers in an arc, trying to shoot down another one of the flying dinos.

Bolts of lightning shoot between and past the pterosaurs as Thunderbird began to climb the air. A thundering whinny, like that of a horse joined it. A giant yellow equine mech with wings, itself firing a laser battery at the wing formation with its drill lance.

"Pegasus! So nice of you to join us. Let's roast these turkeys. Feed the bootboys below why don't we?"

"You got it boss." Replied the yellow Warrior, D'Arcy Beaumont as she set the Pegasus zord near by to brace her laserfire.

Taking note of the quartet's eagerness to volunteer, less due to wanting to prove themselves and far more likely to be them wanting some private time inside their cockpits after everything that happened, Granger nevertheless sees sense in their reasoning. In case the new arrival was even less friendly than this bunch, then it'd be on them if first contact breaks down.

"Fine, I'll let you come along with the patrol. I hope for all our sakes you can handle this."

Meanwhile, Vicious was trying to contain his disbelief and confusion at the entire fiasco and how everyone seemed to have brushed it off all of a sudden after it was all over in favor of the new thing... That immensely powerful presence, there was no mistaking that it was a psion of godlike power, almost like... No, it can't possibly be the same; whatever or whoever the source of that light was, it was without a doubt human, the presence was nowhere near as horrific or violating to be anything but. If anything, he should count his blessings that it worked out in his favor once again.

Absentmindedly fiddling with his flight suit out of anxiety, he noticed that his pilot camera had been left on all this time... He can only hope that Kayto and Ava had kept their heads about them while all that went down.

Quietly observing the proceedings with a critical eye, the custodes folds his arms across his chest. A part of him wanted to accompany the Knight and his allies, to see for himself what unknown entity would be waiting for them out in the dunes, however, the logical part of him stated that he'd only be a liability at the scale Knight titans operate on, despite his capabilities... Yet a voice in the back of his head starts to tell him that he's wasting his opportunities, that this chance to try and learn new things was going to pass him by; the sort of novel experiences that his superiors had hoped for him to grow from...

"I shall accompany the Knights as well."

Everyone turns towards the golden giant after his abrupt announcement, some of the Cerans making open looks of incredulity; especially given the utter lack of mirth or jest in the golden giant's tone.

"If you worry I cannot keep pace, you shall find your concerns unfounded."

Again, he spoke with utter seriousness.

"It is no exaggeration I can assure you" Valrin speaks up in support of the Custodes.

"If the Lord Custodes had wished it, he could move fast enough to kill everyone here before the bio electric impulses from your synapses even fire. Myself very much included. The only real worry would be... the lack of Titanic scale firepower, but the scale of his armor alone has its own advantages"

At the weird and boastful declaration, Liam just blinked, incredulous, yet the thought of this man twice his size keeping out with the Null and the other MSes didn't seem so out of place.
He saw the visions from Valrin, the size of the Ship, the impossibilities that kept on coming and were accepted as common sense, so the golden warrior following hem on foot was... yeah, it made twisted sense.

"I guess..." at this point, Liam just wanted to be in the cockpit, hidden from view, but his sensibilities forced him to ask: "I can still take you, if you want. The Null has weapon hardpoints I can free up a hand..."

"I meant that for the Ceran Crew who insist upon themselves. That flash was a Flash of Warp energy, which always carries a chance of corruption. Im merely assuring anyone that if they do fail to resist the efforts of the memetic agents to enter this reality, they won't be in such a state for long"

Daniel nodded at the general’s words, and proceeded to go on his way towards the hangar. As he was heading towards the Aeolus, the golden armored man, apparently called a Custode, also offered to join them. He was completely serious about it, despite seemingly lacking a mobile suit or something else of equivalent scale. It was another bit of surprise, but Daniel wasn’t exactly eager to argue against him. The Custode had the bearing of an experienced warrior from a world that by all appearances, suffered from constant strife. If he wanted to enter a potential battlefield, so be it. He should already know the risks.
Daniel heard Valrin’s words regarding the Custode. Was he truly that fast? The AF soldier wouldn’t test that claim himself and preferably, their enemies would do so instead.

“We’ve all said our piece then, so let’s go deal with whatever this is,” Daniel said.

"The offer is appreciated, but there is little need. Furthermore, I must see for myself if my armor has suffered any... Undue damage."

There was no pomp or ceremony to the reuniting of the quartet and their machines, they were simply led towards the hangar and given all the time they needed to go through pre-flight checks and whatever esoteric procedures their mechs needed to go through, especially in regards to Valrin's Knight, to rouse from their slumber.

As soon as they were all ready, the pilots got a sudden communique from the Cerans. Likely from the base's air control.

"We're sending the coordinates of the phenomenon now and if you make contact with the patrol we've already dispatched, merge at your convenience but leave first contact with them."

Soon enough, a waypoint winks into existence on their HUDs, leading to a patch of sand about 10 kilometers from the base. But before the quartet could sally forth, the Custodes interrupts.

"I picked up a vox signal from the heathens directed at your Knights. I was unable to pick out the message, but I assume it was in regards to their patrol?"

It did not take long for Jameson's distress signal to get a response and on the very edge of his sensor range, his Gundam picks up an incoming contact. Fairly small, 500 meters or so, given the surprisingly clear "skies" so to speak and as soon as it got to visual range, it sent comms towards his machine, though the contents were... Not as friendly as one could hope.

"Attention unknown Ryder, you are violating Ceran space. Deactivate your weapons and identify yourself."

Taking into account what he had seen groundside, this sort of welcome from a society that had openly displayed its surface-to-orbit weaponry shouldn't be that much of a shock. But what was, is that a closer look at the ship revealed it to be a class that the mercenary had never before seen and whose design philosophy, while identifiably human was something completely foreign to the Earth sphere. Not to mention that as far as he was aware, there was no such entity known as Cera...

"Ngh..." Jameson raised his hand slightly blinded by the searchlight that shone towards his machine. As he softly breathed in and out, slightly short of breathe as the life support systems we're not at an optimal output. He could only listen to the instruction given to him. He softly breathed in and out before spurring himself to move the machine. Whilst pressing inputs upon the main console to patch himself through the channel manually and respond. "This is... Jameson Jacinto D. Santiago, test pilot of this Mobile Suit, the Gundam Maverick. Ngh... I require assistance." He struggled once more at the end of his sentence, as the mobile suit stabilized, regaining its functions bit by bit. To which the broken long range fin funnel that drifted beside it reactivated and reattached on its back, acting as an extra source of AMBAC, and thruster unit still functional, while its barrel was disfigured beyond recogniztion

"I don't recognize the term Ceran nor Ryder, please bear with me...." He sounded short of breath. However bit by bit recovering as the mobile suit's gazed towards the ship, scanning it in great detail, and seeing it to be unrecognizable on any pre-existing records of such ships. "Nor do I recognized... the class of ship. Over." He said, between pants, as he troubleshoots increasing the power output of the drives soon enough. To which would prompt faint particles to flow out of the verniers of the mobile suit once more, revitalizing it as it's movements, while struggling, became much more fluid. Despite its apparent damage across its armor, exposed eye. It was easy to tell that this mobile suit was still capable of holding up a fight, holding its Beam Rifle at its right and shield at its left... But it wasn't still wise to do so. Not that it wasn't necessary now.

"Are you, perhaps aware of an organization known as.... Razormind Industries? Perhaps, the IAN or the EDF?" He asked, to see if they we're familiar to those acronyms, but if the latter to says no. Then its most likely that he was... not in the same place. What was the word...? Dammit, it was in the tip of his tongue...

With the coordinates sent to him, Daniel was ready to go and deal with whatever was randomly sent their way. Or perhaps it wasn’t random, though there was only one way to find out. But before he or his other companions could go ahead, the Custode asked them all a question regarding the Ceran communication.

“It was,” Daniel confirmed. “They simply said to leave first contact to them.”

There was a period of silence as the crew of the patrol craft considered what Jameseon had said, but the ship had not slowed from its approach towards the Gundam at all. At the very least they killed their lights.

A bunch of unfamiliar terms and a failure to recognize our planet... Definitely an outworlder.

Perhaps that anomalous event that was reported on the empty quarter had something to do with it?

Not only that but the proximity of the event to Fort Ladon... Shit, did this thing escape the atmosphere on its own?

I'll get them on the horn. I think they have a right to know, even if they're a bunch of groundpounders. Tell the outworlder to sit tight.

"We are unfamiliar with those entities. But you can explain further once you come aboard, pilot."

And to show that the patrol craft's crew wasn't speaking in jest, the guiding lights towards the hangar doors on its sides light up; inviting the Gundam into its cavernous embrace and towards an uncertain fate.

Meanwhile back at Fort Ladon... Just as the quartet was about ready to go off on their sortie, they got yet another sudden communique from the air control tower.

"Belay that order, we just received confirmation that an unknown class of Mech was just encountered by a Ceran Navy patrol craft on the exosphere, right above this region. Chances are that it's what that flash of light had brought in."

The implication that whatever sort of machine was able to escape the atmosphere on its own is... Troubling to say the least. What if whatever was controlling it decided that it didn't want to listen to the Cerans?

As the quartet ruminated upon the possibilities, the personnel of Fort Ladon quickly gathered all the information they could about the patrol craft’s encounter with the mysterious outworlder mech. The military base was spared no detail regarding the recently arrived stranger by the patrol craft’s crew. Eventually, Fort Ladon contacted the quartet again.

The patrol craft is making its way towards the base. Rendezvous with it at the first opportunity on the upper atmosphere. We will render further assistance for helping the outworlder if necessary.

"I assume its what I can do is cooperate, all this... if I am being honest... feels unnatural." Jameson responded, as he breathed and spurred the mobile suit to move gently. He would then add. "Almost as if the term isekai'd would be fitting in my situation now." He spoke outloud, as he thinks to himself. 'Did... I die then? No, no I don't think so. No damage here suggest that I took a fatal blow...' He softly sighed as he moved the mobile suit towards the Ceran Patrol ship, board it upon the ship. However, for a moment, he swiftly then asked as his instincts has caught wind of a conflict? No, perhaps he was just too paranoid at the moment. "Is... something going on?" He asked, directly through the comms while he took the Mobile Suit was taken into the patrol ship's hangar.

"Alright then... ok"

Getting back into the NULL, after the previous hour of revelation, threats and an attempted murder, was probably the most relaxing thing ever.
The shoulder still produced alert reports, but overall the logs were mostly positive, showing that the Cerans made all the right steps to ensure that it was in working condition and flight capable.
they ever filled the fuel cartriges.

"William Tinmall, NULL, ready to take off."

After getting the coordinates, he set the flight path and entered cruise mode, using the time he had before launch to compile everything he was learning into a journal.
It wasn't anything scientific, just something that he liked to do to put his thoughts into (virtual) paper, but thins time he used almost 3 full pages to express everything.

'And the day isn't over yet...'

"So they got it?"

It was disappointing not getting the chance to fly again, but at least there was no chance of entering into a weird fight like last time.

"What are we supposed to do now... sir?"

Jameson boards the patrol craft without incident. Inside its hangar, he would see the typical complement of such a ship: shuttles, probe drones, and the like but with the only standout being a repair and recovery mech stripped down to the barest essentials to save weight, which again; had a completely alien design philosophy compared to what the mercenary was used to.

It took a short pause for the response to his question to be answered, preceded by a scoff of bemused disbelief.

"Let's just say that those guns you saw on the Empty Quarter aren't there just for show. The galaxy isn't a friendly place and it's gotten even less so as of late."

Then the patrol craft abruptly began to lurch, judging from the way it did so, it seemed to have begun to reenter the planet's atmosphere.

"We're already aware that your machine was able to escape our planet's gravity well, so consider this ride a courtesy from the Ceran Navy."
"Fair enough, this is their planet."
Then Liam would get a sudden radio communique from the Custodes.

"It appears we must wait."

Did he just tap into their comms net without anyone the wiser and in such a short timeframe? Then the golden giant craned his head up towards the skies above.

"But not too long it seems."

At first, he seemed to be staring into nothing. But a few adjustments to his Gundam's cameras would reveal that the power-armored giant was looking right at a ship undergoing atmospheric reentry, fortunately, one that is far smaller than the Mercury's Alacrity and was doing so deliberately and properly with no chance of any disastrous mishap.

Valrin looked around the hangar.

Null was capable of Flight

Kazuki... where ever he was, Valrin believed he could recall that Kazuki's mech could fly. Daniel's mech could fly, and even the Scion who had died in the Ship had a knight capable of flight.

Now the next one was in low orbit.

Ignus stared up in pure contempt. Valrin knew the next time that Ignus's guns would fire, it would be overkill.

Daniel waited like the others did, and the ship made itself clear in their sights. It was descending carefully, making sure its atmospheric reentry didn’t end in disaster. At least they can follow procedure as expected. The AF pilot watched vigilantly, readying himself for action if necessary. One can’t be too careful, especially in an alien world.

"Hm-?!" David had to act fast, these dinosaurs were quite trained, for a bunch of ancient lizards...Still, they were competent nonetheless.

He'd have to act fast, it'd been quite some time since he'd have such a challenge that wasn't the one man who drove David up the walls. The Wing Freedom switched from Bird Mode to Gundam Mode, but seemed to have hit the brakes. The Gundam seemed to be crushing itself, until it launched up to the skies like a spring! The amount of G-forces David experienced in that moment would do in any normal man...It took David a long time to get it right.

Supplementing this evasive action, the Wing Freedom's head and torso lit up as 4 vulcans blitzed the area to catch the missiles as David ascended!

As expected, the beast pulled off an evasive maneuver, performing a short dive so as to not bleed away its precious airspeed and energy in case Mazinger would follow up its rocket punch, its pilot's prudence quickly paid off when the Great suddenly hit afterburners and attempted to ram into it with a shocking burst of speed for something so bulky as a super robo.

Hitting its afterburners as well, the mechasaur then executed a barrel roll, barely managing to avoid getting plastered across the Great's grill, though it didn't do so unscathed as the radar crest upon its skull was sheared clean in half by the Mazinger's razor wing.

While it would take time for the mechasaur to retaliate, unfortunately for Kane, its wingmen had no such worries and now he found himself pounded from multiple directions with linear cannon and pulse laser fire.

The missiles were destroyed by the CIWS fire, but they had fulfilled their purpose in preventing David from pursuing the Mechasaurs, giving them time to disengage. However, this wasn't exactly a disadvantageous situation for the Gundam pilot as his erstwhile allies would prove soon enough...
The other two pterosaurs dodged the incoming lasers and lightning bolts to the best of their ability, not that it was particularly difficult given their agile forms and small size; but it relieved the pressure on the Great and left them open to having their formation broken apart where they could be picked off one by one, especially now that David was in an excellent position to exploit their unfavorable situation...

Where in Gore's name are our reinforcements?!

Quit your bellyaching! I just got word that the ground mechasaurs have entered the combat area, we just need to hold out for 30 more seconds until they get in position.

With all due respect sir, we aren't exactly Ace pilots!

Then it's about damned time that you greenhorns get started on-EARGH!

A lucky thunderbolt suddenly strikes one of the Mechasaurs on its wing, burning a hole through it and frying its avionics; causing the beast to tumble into an uncontrolled dive, trailing smoke all the while.
