I do feel like Ultra's scum read of Poyser is a little performative. That actually feels like a read he is making to be seen doing something over actually believing it, to echo Poyser's earlier sentiment. Agree on hime being Town, Melkor seems fine too though no strong leaning on him. Tempest lean town for coming to similar reads as I.

Yeah but you always say he can't read you lol. Just a bit surprised you'd have that expectation of him given your prior takes on this.
(I just say this to discredit him if he ever catches me as scum lmao. But yeah, that Pokemon game play was horrendous).

I didn't think of it that way either tbf.

I liked he got early town reads in and explained them. The reads didn't feel forced or fake. I liked his vibe.

I mean I used too claim early as scum all the time and got townread for it, but that's way back. I definitely think her claiming duelist that stops the lynch would make her look bad as scum, and well she botched a hider fake so maybe she didn't want the pressure too claim from town and got it out early. I'm of the opinion it's better for scum to not know the roles we have, and I don't like too claim unprompted as town because of it. Maybe i'm attaching how i'd do things too much to what hime did though. Still feel like claiming right away wasn't necessary as town.

I mean the context is different, I see your point, but me voting someone who caught me early as scum the very next game is a lot stupider than just getting your claim out early because your fake claim got you lynched, especially when as you said scum tend to not claim early/unpromptly

See above. Think you could've left scum in the dark about your role longer tbh.
im a scummy version of a regular duelist
i don't see how hiding my role from scum does anything here
if anything i should be claiming so town has time to figure out the best way to utilize my kinda unhelpful role

you get a bit carried away with your fake pushes as scum, would expect you to bite a bit harder on the bait I threw out for you

think your latest post about ratchet was good as well
I can buy that tbf. Still find it weird your reading me town this game, when all you've done as town since i returned is read me scum. Something i'm gonna keep note of, if you flip scum btw. Infact, I remember you reading me town a lot as mafia, so I'd be a distraction/pocket me.

You'd know, I had the tendency to OMGUS more as town and favor those who townread me since it didn't happen often.

Should I take back my benefit of doubt? What are your real thoughts on Ultra? Any read on Poyser?

The read itself is what I said. And then I went on to explain why I thought it was performative.

Not really though?

If admitting I have a singular read is performative then what isn't performative? Your accusation doesn't really fit the mold, unless you think as scum I'd have the expectation that just tossing a random vote which I didn't bother explaining for a while would be to get points.

I mean fair enough, I'll rescind for now.

If you said I was scum for not offering much that would be consistent, saying I'm being performative ironically feels very performative itself because what airs am I putting on here exactly? I haven't done shit this game lmao

You're misconstruing my point. I am not saying you admitting to only having one read is performative. I'm saying the level of conviction you purport to have in the read (as in, the read itself) is performative.
