The title is a bit much, but none of the current names for this clusterfuck are remotely accurate. DCTV? It includes at least 4 film franchises. Arrowverse? Lol. CW-DC (or something similar)? HBO, Fox, Netflix.

Note: As of Crisis, there is no cross-universe scaling for anyone that I know of. The closest thing we've gotten to a crossover is confirmation that the Jay Garick of current Earth-2 is a proper doppelganger of Earth 2's Pre-Crisis Jay and Earth-1's Henry Allen (ie: is played by JWS). He's also said to have dimension-hopping powers, which helps validate his status as a proper speedster.

For pedantry's sake, I'll point out that Donner's Superman could scale to the Earth-Prime heroes. But, honestly, it would be hard to defend his showing against Prime Clark as anything more than an outlier.

Earth-Prime
Green Arrow
Flash
Legends of Tomorrow
Supergirl
Black Lightning

Batwoman
Superman and Lois

Earth-2
Stargirl

Earth-9
Titans (HBO)

Earth-12
Green Lantern (2011)

Earth 21
Swamp Thing

Earth-21
Doom Patrol (HBO)

Earth-89
Batman (Burton)

Earth-96
Superman (Donner Cut)

Earth-167
Smallville

Earth-203
Justice League (Whedon Cut)

Earth-666
Lucifer

The first episode of Flash Season 8 was surprisingly good. Not by the standards of cinema or fiction, but definitely an improvement to the cluster fuck that was Season 7. So. Let's see what we've got.

"Wow. You have seriously leveled up."
This is a theme of the episode, and, for Barry, it seems to be legit. Non-boss fights just aren't a threat to Flash. His first feat of the episode is to clear two trains in under twelve seconds. The trains are more than 50 miles away and on a collision course when he gets the news.

"I can think at super speed."
Flash not only utilizes Flash time like someone with a brain. He also uses his brain, like someone with a brain. He manages to form a completely new plan of attack, effectively, in between the thoughts of a mind reader.

Bonus, that kid seems to fire legit lasers, and they were close enough to going off that he isn't able to stop himself from blasting his teammate. He doesn't even seem to notice he's looking somewhere new until after they fire. Also worth noting that the girl Flash leaves stuck in midair isn't in free fall, she was thrown at Flash by someone with super strength.

Probably worth noting how drastically Barry outpaces his own lightning in this scene. Huge chunks of it basically freeze in place once he gets far enough away, and even the lightning closest to him takes time to fully catch up once Barry comes to a stop.

"He took our best shots like they were nothing"
Despero is the shit! A cool design both in and out of CGI mode (I know it's mostly a money thing, but I like that he has a human form). More relevant to this thread, he's a fucking BEAST. With Barry just a couple of feet away from landing a full-speed punch, Despero is able to scan Barry's mind to discern his real body from a speed mirage before slapping Barry out of the air. He completely overpowers Barry's momentum to send him in the opposite direction so hard he dents a cop car. The raw power he shows by overpowering Flash is further validated when Chester (new Cisco) says that he hits with the power of Fuerza, the Strength Force avatar.

Despero's TP is good enough to project a perfect illusion of himself; left Flash and Atom blasting empty air. He can also casually share memories and can broadcast his thoughts (painfully) into the minds of around two dozen people.

"Bear witness to a coming armageddon..."
"[...] that you create 10 years from now. One that destroys your own planet." Looks like Barry is going to literally tear the Earth apart. Not quite as impressive as it would have been before Crisis and all this new Forces BS. Until we see evidence to the contrary, Barry should still have full access to the zenkai that let him shut down a universe-ending, 5 Forces Storm. All of the Forces are now a part of the Speed Force that powers Barry. And even before the final battle of that episode, Barry was already trading blows with Speed Force Nora while inside the actual Speed Force.
