Fang isn’t highly regarded/influential; he wasn’t super active, he isn’t someone who’s usually a tough mislynch, he’d not claimed a power role or anything. Other than his reads, which he’d made a fairly comprehensive list of - I can’t see much reason why he was selected to be killed.
Poyser suggested that it’d be odd to kill Fang because his reads aren’t normally feared. My counter are Polar/Orca and others are slightly eccentric, so by the same token may make “odd” kill choices. I do think his issue is WIFOM based anyway.

My problem with this is that it's a bit of a 'poisoned pawn' situation
If you're town it's a net negative (and I'm not really fussed what your claim is, unless it's something obviously town)
