The actual answer would be for the same reason why a protag can beat the boss when nobody else can

it's plot

Yea like trunks but those instances are always explained as not being the weapon's doing ie the user makes the tool sorta thing or they just have great prior feats to indicate such a high strength lv compared to normal

Doom Slayer is literally empowered by beings beyond Human Understanding and even before then was killing monsters normal humans can't even scratch before that point...

So tried finding the source to this statement and apparently it just dont exist unless im spelling it wrong or something

even tried reverse searching the statement and only could find other vs debater type sites

The boss fight for icon of sin, Which is never named in any of these posts and you have to dig to find it
but in the boss fight, he never seems to warp reality or anything



and ill skim through it but nothing in the vain of the statement galaxy presented seems to be there
 
Also Doomguy and Classic Doom isn't comparabled to Doomslayer or Doom Eternal.

One was an initial series of low tier invasions by a less prepared Hell with a guy simply angry and lucky enough to survive. His best feats were superhuman but nothing special, just gibbigng enemies with punches or outrunning rockets.

By the time of Doom 2016 Doomguy was legit several eons old. The Doomguy and the Hell seen in the Doom reboot series have had an eons-long arms race. A guy calculated how long it took between Doom 64 and Doom 2016 and came up with the age of the universe and Hugo Martin confirmed this to be true. You cannot compare to relatively superhuman Classic Doom to Modern Doom.
