@OtherGalaxy @Thirteen prime @Crimson Dragoon @grillmaster After the Mountain Level downplay, Optimus is finally getting an upgrade (only applies to his RID form). Me and the other guys from vsbw talked about this and seems like he is gonna be High 5-A through vsbw tiering system. Here are the upgrades.
Ok so it was stated by Megatronus that he had a power greater than a prime and plus he was using the energy of Unicron ever since his fight with Optimus. Unicron's energy is decently calced at Brown Dwarf.
I and them were NOT too sure about Tier 2 since I think that weird Russian sequel that had Aligned and PWT crossover had the Aligned Primes restoring two timelines or smth, but that was time manipulation (have to watch that stupid show again). Now I didn't proposed the Low 1-C Realm of the Primes argument because ik vsbw will NEVER accept it

i will say, he does have one potential implied planetary feat
that being his plan to fuse the anti spark and the allspark would have destroyed both earth and cybertron, and he didnt seem like he had a deathwish, so i guess he would have just tanked it

Diaclone is canon to TF but when you start getting into crossovers with a crossover scaling it all gets a bit strange. I probably wouldn't push too seriously for taking any of it as relevant to be safe, for similar reasons that I don't try to apply D&D or MTG stuff to Transformers even though they're connected

@OtherGalaxy @grillmaster Yo I just found out the 13th prime for AOTP WASN'T originally Star Convoy. According to the designers, Mark planned for a Voyagar Class for the 13th whos name was "The Arisen". Here, they implied The Arisen was a seperate character from Optimus and Star Convoy was originally gonna be a Haslab. However due to Haslab Omega Prime blocking the way and production issues, they made Star Convoy a mainline figure, giving the name "Star Optimus Prime" and he will be the one guiding all the primes for this toyline.
So they did planned to make an "The Arisen" figure which likely was taking design inspiration from the 13th Prime picture we see from the Convenant of Primus, but more G1 styled. Idk what was his artifact though. Could be the Matrix of Leadership repacked from Prima

According to BBJazz from TFW2005, he asked the designers about this in Megacon ever since February and this was what the designers stated:
I don't think they will ever revisit this since they have outright depicted Star Optimus as the 13th. Atleast it is not an ordinary Optimus like what the dumbass Aligned continuity did and plus Star Optimus does serve a purpose to be the 13th for this lineup. We also know Age of the Primes is a two year lineup and we got the listings alr, so idk if they were gonna do "The Arisen" figure and makes no sense since Star Optimus is alr depicted as The Arisen. Still, I'm interested to see what was The Arisen's robot mode
