Transformers feats/discussion

By the way, if no one forgot, Optimus also took two hits from Trypticon, so yes, Optimus probably has the greatest durability among ordinary transformers.

And this despite the fact that before this Godzilla, simply passing by, destroys a bunch of Cybertronian cities that are much larger (the planet itself is several times larger than the earth) and also materials from Cybertron are much more durable than their earthly counterparts.

Devastator has probably the best achievements in terms of physical strength among combiners: he can essentially knock down a zombie titan when thrown by another titan, after which he holds back his jaw and lifts Trypticon's tail.main-qimg-867af5c0204fc0e044f408b0e4b7b767 (2).jpegmain-qimg-403a6cad574c55ecf5b2125afec489c4 (2).jpegmain-qimg-fbc3a809bd9e1f83e3ea66687e0d8b43 (2).jpegmain-qimg-513d7495cc8fb8796c358cb664e4c203 (2).jpegmain-qimg-5c78b476f804188dc9243dc1da57292e.jpeg

god damn, scale is always wonky but IDW titans are meant to be massive, so thats super damn impressive, insane that he appears to have survived being bitten by Trypticon as well

that actually does remind me, Sixshot got punched by Metroplex, and he lived but he did look pretty beat up
thats a solid durability feat for Optimus, Sixshot, AND a solid strength feat for Metroplex

They are roughly comparable in size to the ship known as the Lost Light, which is 16 miles long and 15 miles in diameter.

yeah, sometimes, but the thing is metroplex has also been said to be three miles tall, which is a far cry from that
hell, we see the lost light ram monstructor, a combiner
scale is a funny thing in transformers

I just now realized this somehow super late, I cant believe I didnt think about this at all for ALL THESE YEARS

Unicron's bio straight up says he can devour stars
Somehow it never clicked before that Unicron > Star level
And then i only realized now

The energy of the Matrix therefore is > Unicron > Star level
Prime was point blank in the epicenter of the explosion
Pmoptimusprimedeath.jpg

Of course, he was utterly decimated and he didn't live much longer afterward, but i still think its notable that anything of him survived this in the first place
He still died but its a MASSIVE durability feat imo
and i suppose if you wanted you could scale backwards from this considering super mode optimus is 10x his normal powermaster body, but do with this what you will
this is the highest g1 comic feat i know of yet, and as well as the 10x powermaster boost, if the increase in strength is to be believed his original body was 1/10th of the base powermaster form, so optimus could have gotten at least 100x stronger by the end of the comic, not counting however strong the action master upgrade made him
if this scaling makes sense i think it puts the matrix at star level + and optimus at some fraction of star level for any bit of him surviving the explosion at point blank

In terms of cartoon scaling, Scourge claims the Matrix has given him the power of 100,000 DECEPTICONS
which if true would be pretty insane
he goes on to one shot galvatron and cyclonus while tanking their attacks, but is defeated by hot rod at the end, which does seem kind of confusing but i think we can explain that through the fact that scourge's body is clearly not meant to handle this kind of power, let alone the effect it has on his mind
it could also be that he is the matrixs rightful bearer or something and that has to do with it

Possible speed feat as well as range for the Matrix

It is confirmed through this episode that the Hate Plague has taken over the entire galaxy

the time we see the matrix used in total is from 19:15 to 19:59, a time of about 43 seconds
while we sadly dont get any shots of it spreading beyond earth, knowing the whole galaxy is infected is an insane speed and range feat, as the milky way spans 100,000 light years in total
using the distance and time i have found the energies of the matrix travelled at a minimum of 73,389,769,700 C
If the range of the Hate Plague is beyond galactic, let me know, as that would be even more insane speedwise
This is a good range for the Matrix of Leadership at least in the G1 Cartoon, notable because the Sunbow animated series is not connected to any Multiversal Singularities that I know of, so this Matrix is not a godly artifact of Primus' essence. If it is some sort of ancient artifact of Cybertronian technology, then that counts as a feat for cybertronian tech to be able to have galactic range and massively FTL speed

iirc the official number was they’re 3 miles tall but they probably appear much bigger many times because of lolTFScale

oh one other useful thing for IDW scaling, Kup survived being shot into the sun once and Rom has flown through stars. Space Knights are basically dead even with cybertronians physically (in Rom vs Transformers, both kill the other in scores) so the scaling can be applied to basically everyone relevant. I believe it usually takes country~ level durability to survive being in the sun but I could be off, especially as for Transformers they’d have to take on more due to their size.

I wanna say the matrix should still count due to its connections to the afterlife even in g1 but the argument is definitely much stronger in the Japnese continuity where the Oracle is explicitly just part of Primus

true, but i wanted to go with it not being part of Primus as he doesnt exist in this continuity, and it would be a feat for the tech of cybertron as a civilization rather than just another feat for Super Robot God

We must also not forget that Hate Plague spores can survive a supernova explosion.

Megatron's primary weapon is his arm-mounted fusion cannon, which can tap other- dimensional energy from the heart of a black hole, channeling it into a blast capable of shattering whole mountains. Its internal reaction chamber processes combustible matter from the collapsed star, mixing it with plasma and unleashing it with focused precision as a particle beam. Few foes survive a direct hit.

well the afterlife itself and sparks are at least in some abstract way, an aspect of Primus. the weird ehobby thing you posted earlier showcasing all the starscreams including sunbow in the same limbo seems to support that. even if the Matrix is just technology in one universe I guess they seem to still be somehow linked to the afterlife/Primus. it’s weird

I also just remembered AVP hinted that at least sometimes the hate plague comes from Unicron lmao

anyhow I didn’t mean it as a Primus feat so much as it might be useful in gauging how Matrices in other continuities could scale, but then again given they behave differently half the time even with theheh being connected they wouldn’t necessarily scale at all to each other beyond some common things

true, but that was also from a japanese toy bio
i see what you're going for though, also honestly the hate plague sometimes coming from unicron sounds entirely on brand for him

I think its a good low end for the Matrixs power, since in other continuities having a connection to the whole cosmic god could make them significantly more powerful and faster, considering that primus exists beyond time itself, speed feats would be nothing
