THE ROTF DVDS HAVE BIOS?!?!?
b15z4Q1vml4.jpg
wait shit my parents probably still have this somewhere lol

is this how the decepticons felt when they found out where the allspark is
i MUST find more i MUST

either somewhere on the internet or someone actually gets them off the blu-ray ANYTHING at this point
you never know what you're gonna find with this franchise
also because completely unrelated to powerscaling, i think it'd just be cool to have this stuff found and documented

my quest to give the fallen a bigger number on powerscaler boards has led me to trawl through shit that borders on lost media looking for the most obscure insane statements i can

that fallen profile saying he contains the power of an exploding universe is from the titan magazine comics that almost the entirety of the comic i cannot fucking find on the internet

furman making sure to drop the most insane lore where nobody will ever find it except for powerscaler lunatics running entirely on FENT DARK ENERGON

i mentioned this to OG it was funny as fuck but when i first read the guidebook page with "omniversal tyrant" fallen i didnt actually think it was all that impressive on its own outside of maybe saying he has "unquantifiable energies" but to me that could also have just meant that his power is hard to understand because hes so ancient and wielding forgotten technology
or could just as well have been hyperbole or that he can destroy whatever he targets

only for furman to drop in the most fucking obscure magazine ever that actually the fallen contains an immeasurable amount of universe destroying energy and is constantly emitting infinite power, which he must vent because "no physical form was meant to contain the power of an exploding universe"

also never gonna stop mentioning that the fallen and his brothers are consistently said to be born from "the singularity that created the universe" :mjpls:mjpls:mjpls:mjpls:mjpls

“Swimming through unrefined thought”

Furman had no fucks left to give
Vast funeral pyres, thousands of miles high, defied the night, the false dawn lit by raging infernos, fueled by the remains of a once proud and learned race of synthetics known as the Kolar. And with their twisted remains burned a culture dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge through transdimensional music and art, a society steeped in rich mental diversity and lyrical beliefs.

All of which meant absolutely nothing to the Herald.

She watched, unmoved and impassive, as her Reaver divisions leveled structures of ether and crystal, massive J-Class Warwings reducing quasi-reality sky cities to their quantum filament components. The screams of the injured and dying rose like a Banshee wail, punctuated by thermonucleonic detonations. Those Kolar judged sturdy enough to survive the coming rigors were genetically tagged and reengineered for slave labor. Once the purge was complete, the rebuilding would begin. Cybertronian spires and domes would rise, branding the world as an adjunct to the Empire. The will of Shokaract be done.

Something had to be done. The question was, what exactly? Despite predictions and extrapolations to the contrary, Shokaract's power base continued to grow. Countless monitors, showing countless scenes of conquest and mass devastation, painted a grimly uniform picture of widening universal chaos. Things were falling apart, and Leonicus was close to despair.

His facial mantle, sculpted over countless millennia within the barren confines of the Covenant's subterranean sanctuary on Protos, was cracking, fault lines of anxiety and doubt dividing formerly stoic continents. He was, he realized, losing his faith. How could they sit here, watching and waiting for a signal that may never come, while around them countless billions of lives were snuffed out? Unable to bear the relentless onslaught of apocalyptic imagery, Leonicus abandoned the Observatory, retreating to the relative calm of the Reflectorium. He needed to gather his thoughts, marshal emotions that were threatening to overwhelm him.

The Covenant had been created by Primus, last of the Light Gods, at the very dawn of time, many years before the coming of Cybertron and the first to bear the name Prime. The Twelve, the Covenant, were both dry run and fail-safe, a means to test the viability of Primus's Grand Plan and ultimately to safeguard it.

Primus knew that the Dark God, Unicron, could only be defeated through the ultimate sacrifice, and so fashioned an intricate trap that left both their energy forms imprisoned within lifeless metal asteroids, adrift in the vastness of space. But, as the Protos experiment had proved, Primus's prison was manipulable, and through sheer force of mental will the Transformers' homeworld, was born. Over the centuries that followed, Primus populated the world he named Cybertron with further Transformers, each powered by a fragment of his life essence; their Spark.

The Covenant, meanwhile, stayed hidden, ever vigilant, waiting and preparing for Point Omega, a critical moment when they would go forth into battle to defend Primus's dream of enduring universal stability. But the moment never materialized, and while crises came and went, whatever pre-set gene alarm Primus had left encoded in their physiology remained stubbornly silent. Leonicus feared now that Point Omega would end up a judgment call. One, as the Covenant's nominal leader, he would have to make.

It was clear, however, that events on and around Cybertron were building to crisis point, for Point Omega was also known in their scriptures as Shokaract. No coincidence for sure. And then there was the Chronarchitect.

Existing beyond normal space and time, the Chronarchitect appeared at pivotal moments, bringing warning of possible divergences along the route wound by the intersecting courses of the timestream and the Grand Plan. But his last appearance had been a fractured, disjointed affair, one that had culminated in his apparent destruction. The Chronarchitect warned of a devastating disruption to the timestream, an anomaly that threatened the final dissolution of the Plan, and left them with a cryptic entreaty, 'return to the beginning'.

toy related interview, but given this is a toy based series at its core, it’s extremely interesting. Especially this part

TFW: There hasn’t been a Generations cartoon or storyline in general since Kingdom. Is there any interest in doing more?
Evan: I would love to do more.
Nate: There’s always interest in new content, especially fan content, obviously right now the brand – really the company’s focus is the Transformers One film. I don’t know if you’ve seen it yet but we saw an early screening a couple months ago – it is excellent, I think it’s going to introduce Transformers in a really positive way to a whole new generation of fans and collectors. So I can’t speak on as to whether there’s current plans or future plans but we know the demand is there, I mean even just looking at our partner Overwatch where they had that incredible trailer for the skins in the game. We know our fans are starving for it, we’re very aware, but I can’t speak as far as any current or future plans at the moment.

:lul

TFW: Is the Legacy “philosophy” of including all continuities now pretty much a permanent thing in Generations going forward?
John: Not necessarily. So the way the Legacy line is handled right now, it’s an extra-dimensional battle, it invites all of the different continuities to join under a single umbrella. What’s wonderful about it is it’s given us an opportunity to do Armada, RID, Beast Wars, Beast Wars Neo, all sorts of continuities. As we look to the future, we will continue to pinpoint elements of the fandom, but Legacy as a line will certainly evolve as we do at Hasbro. Typically what we do is we create “sub-universes”, not unlike the Prime Wars Trilogy, or the WFC Trilogy. There’s more to come, we have yet to reveal some of these things. But know that there will be an umbrella sort of brand that does touch on multiple collecting eras from the Transformers universe. More to come!

TFW: With Gamer Edition, have they become easier to design over time, as in have the files become easier to access?
Evan: Yeah. There’s been a lot of great communication back and forth. It’s been going really well.

TFW: Since he’s his rival, would you be interested in making RID Megatron to go with Haslab Omega Prime, and what size class would you want him to be if so?
Evan: I can tell you that Yuki-san wants us to make RID Gigatron/Megatron.
John: He sure does! That’s tricky. What scale – he’d have to be almost Commander class, right?
Evan: If you’re following animation accuracy, he’s almost bigger than that.
John: Almost like a small Titan.
Evan: Pretty much, because he scales with Omega Prime. Like the original toy was so small. And if you wanted to be animation-accurate, which we’ve been trying to do recently, he’d have to be ginormous. I would definitely say he’s a viable option for the future, and it’s something that I think everybody’s excited about because of how well Omega Prime did.
not scaling related but peak
TFW: You seem to be going through the IDW Megatrons. Which of his other bodies would you like to make? Stormbringer, stealth bomber, etc?
John: Oh yeah. I think Stormbringer is a good one. The IDW renditions of Megatron are pretty awesome. And I think one of the things I would love to revisit is, ever since the WFC Trilogy we’ve been trying to get characters more accurately rendered to a sense of scale. With Legacy and me being gone for a couple years, Mark and the team have done a pretty incredible job of bringing characters to life in a way where they’re scale-accurate. So I think a lot of those renditions of Megatron could be revisited at a Voyager or even Leader class pricepoint, or in some cases even Commander.

TFW: Is Fall of Cybertron in consideration for Gamer Edition alongside War for Cybertron, or are you waiting until you flesh out more of WFC’s cast first?
John: Yeah, I think Gamer Edition is an interesting one, because I think in some ways we’ve only scratched the surface of the opportunities there. There’s a lot of great characters that are still on the table, I think fans of the video game know that. The trick is cleaning things up and making it so that we can focus on elements of the fandom that have the biggest amount of influence, so it’s difficult to say. I think it comes to again, fan demand, engagement and understanding of which characters to do next.

TFW: What is the criteria for redoing or updating characters? Is there a certain amount of time that needs to pass first?
John: Oh no, not at all. There’s no amount of time that needs to pass. But what I can say is it’s scale and price often times influence what we do with the Transformers brand. So I know Mark is very much into the posability and filling voids of previous Transformers, you know there’s some characters that we – like in Titans Return during when I was on the brand, that are definitely in due of a remake, whether it’s because of the Headmaster figure or whatever. I think it depends, you know, some of those characters had a Headmaster gimmick and they weren’t actually Headmasters. But I think there’s really no sense of time that needs to go by. I think it comes down to a collaboration with Takara and what they feel like they can do with that character. It’s also very much pricepoint-driven and where we want to take the line.

TFW: A lot of Animated characters went unmade as toys back in the day. Which ones would you like to make the most?
John: Oh boy, I don’t know, that’s really tricky. Admittedly, I’m less familiar with the Animated franchise. That doesn’t mean – I know a lot of times online they’re like, “Oh John didn’t grow up with it, he doesn’t know it.” This is an opportunity, I’m a big Transformers geek when it comes to understanding all of the different pieces and elements and universes that came therein. I’m great friends still with Eric Siebenaler, he’s one of my dear friends and honestly the guy’s inspired me as a designer. He was deeply influential with the Animated series, as you know. And, it’s hard to say. Honestly Omega Supreme is up there because of the huge scale. It’s tricky, as you know the Animated toys back in the day did a really good job of capturing the Animated style. I can say what we’ve seen on Legacy is the ones that look most like the show are the ones that I think fans are reacting to. One thing we don’t want to do is kind of pull them under the G1 umbrella and try to make them boxy. We hear fans, we want to accurately depict that universe. Screen-accuracy is one of those things that we do like to do in Studio Series, but I can see a world in the future where we might be touching Animated in Studio Series.
TFW: It was stated that Legacy Thundertron has some Zoid-esque design cues. Is a Transformers/Zoids collaboration a possibility, considering TakaraTomy owns Zoids?
John: Wow, that’s a really, really interesting idea. We are coming up on a big anniversary for Zoids. I’m always into trying to push the envelope of doing something like that. I don’t see why something like that couldn’t happen. What specific Zoids would you want to see? Like Liger Zero?
TFW: Gojulas, Cannon Tortoise.
John: Oh Gojulas is great. And Cannon Tortoise is excellent. I personally feel like if we were to touch on Zoids, probably the upcoming animated series anniversary is where I would go. I have treasured memories of playing with and building Zoids from that time period with my oldest son, who’s now an adult.

Once able to travel freely between time and space devouring countless planets, Unicron was destroyed by the Autobots in the Great War. In spirit form, Unicron awaited the opportunity to fully revive himself. With the United battle intensifying, the Decepticons summoned Unicron, who had been surviving alone on an astral plane, into this dimension allowing him to possess an Autobot spacecraft and reconfigure it into a super destructive tank. Although he no longer has the size he once had to achieve his ambitions, his coming is the worst crisis in the universe.

always loved this bio
Unicron is the harbinger of chaos. He is the source of a deep and infinite darkness - the void that exists between the stars. He trolls the universe without haste or fear, for he has something his victims lack: time. His is a hunger that ceases to be fulfilled, a hunger that rages - a hunger for life in all its infinite guises. There exist those who have attempted to stop the destruction of their homeworld. They have failed. For Unicron devours entire solar systems with numb precision. He devours moons and planets and stars. Unicron devours life. And he cannot be stopped.

unicrons 2008 universe bio
80794379vj8_1219870145.jpg

Immortal, indestructable and all powerful, UNICRON is the ultimate evil in the cosmos. Massive, silent and unstoppable, he floats through the non-space between dimensions, reaching out with his sensors to find the universe with the most energy. Those dimensions he finds suitable, he consumes, destroying every planet, every star and every trace of life. He has been destroyed or defeated countless times, yet he always returns, hungrier and more powerful than before, for he is more than a mere monster, he is evil incarnate , and as long as there is evil, there is UNICRON.
