Oh, so he is candidate for cult leader?
The one thing that gives me some pause on Gad is that he claimed some element of his flavour. Now I know Fuji may have given full fakes, but I don't really expect Gad to have the forethought in this situation to drop a part of his flavour without claiming the character initially. It's not a big thing, obviously, it just gives me some slight pause.
I was discussing this with Pqwerty but I think there is a reasonably high chance that he's Cult. If you apply Occam's Razor, the most likely outcome is that he is responsible for blocking X Night 2. The alternative requires several harmful (and note that harmful does not include killing or investigations) abilities to have affected him, Gad to have stopped one, and yet he still gets blocked. Which feels like a stretch to me.
But following on from the above premise, and I must stress, it is just a premise, his decision to target Sparkles would indicate that he has a vested interest in her not checking Cult candidates. I don't think this is all that likely for scum to do, as town going after the cult is exactly what they would like (though there is incentive for them to stop Sparkles, I have a hard time believing it's more of a priority for them than stopping one of the investigators). When you tie it all together, the most likely scenario here is that he's Cult.
As Town, I don't really understand why he would be interested in stopping actions on Sparkles vs on X, or even Flower. And there is nothing in his claim that suggests he can only target a player non-consecutively. I'm not saying Sparkles is a bad target, but overall, there is more value in a cop result from X at this point in the game. Later in the game, this may not hold true, but I certainly don't expect Gad to have those considerations.

Melkor is not gonna be scum because he wouldn’t have known Cata was protected unless he‘s exactly with Pot and he‘s a Roletracker and knew what Mango did.
Mango isn’t scum because he used a protect and Pot confirmed it. If it was Bus Driven to Melkor or myself who also used protects it would have shown our other actions, so Pot indeed targeted Mango.
