Understandable. Though this is kind of my attempt at trying to get back into the game, I've kinda fallen off in all senses of the word.
The block and protection from actions are two fucking separate abilities. And require separate fucking treatment. The jail just combines them into one, but they still work differently. If I take the Doctor and RB variant a Superkill that only bypasses protection, not blocks can go through on the target. But if the one performing the kill is blocked the kill fails since RB immunity would be required. It‘s the same principle.

It’s not even strictly protection… it blocks your target from using abilities and it blocks abilities from reaching your target. If it ONLY stopped kills then it would be straight protection but it doesnt, it stops all abilities other than whatever exceptions you have. If your role doesn’t work on culting then… it doesn’t work on culting

I say Watson‘s role has more scum utility than Town utility and is a scum variant and I get gaslit despite applying common sense. If non Town inherit abilities then the role fucking helps Anti Town and punishes Town for correct targets + enables bussing and makes it harder for Town to find their mates.
I get called stupid over that and get gaslit and trashed and my intelligence insulted despite the fact that the above is not only a correct assessment, but also Watson plays like complete scum.
So yeah, I‘m pretty much done with this.

What's the last thing you remember?
Mech wise poyser tanked Lynch D1, Ekko died N2, someone got culted N2 and Watson set up duel against Poyser D2 (which then was corrected saying that if scum dies, team keeps their abilities).
Thread wise it's mostly Poyser going against Ratchet and Ultra. Poyser is pretty much openscuming imo but he left legacy so if he's gonna flip Town you can go back and check it out. Flower claimed to jail Ultra at nigth. There's some discussion about whether Watson's duel is too scummy to be scums or not. Poyser discussion still takes majority of thread i think. Remember Alexis and Gulio being pushed by Ultra for a bit. Don't remember much besides that. There's no obvious option for lynch yet i after duel was set up i think.
