Whats the verse level of this cosmology?

And the next, extreme powercreep. To summarize what we already learned (see posts above)

-

Starfields are self contained, infinite universes
Starfields are infinite in numbers
Starfields themselves are closed off from each other
All star fields are born from a place called the Ancestral Domain

And of course the Ancestral Domain is higher tiered:

The World Energy here was indeed more abundant than any place in the Star Field, but it still wasn’t comparable to the Star Boundary. There was a large difference between the two. Moreover, Yang Kai could feel that the World Principles here weren’t as perfect as those of the Star Boundary.

In other words, Dao Source Realm was probably the limit in the Ancestral Domain while it was practically impossible for anyone to reach the Emperor Realm here.

-

The powercreep:

Presently, there was a board with a number of black and white stones on it in front of the old man called Wu Kuang. The strange aura wafting from the board was so intense that anyone who happened to see it would be shaken to the core.

After taking just one look at the board, Mei Jiu’er turned ashen and she thought that this old man must be too bored, which was why he decided to play the board game on his own. Moreover, it had even somehow turned into such an intense competition that the board itself was giving off an overwhelming aura.

The old man in the gazebo lifted his head to look at Yang Kai, then he burst into a fit of laughter as he called out, “Little brat, what are you doing here?”
...
“What do you think?” Yang Kai bent over and landed a slap on the board, which caused the black and white stones to be messed up.

Wu Kuang gazed at the board with a frown and sighed, “I was about to win. Why couldn’t you just talk it out with me instead of messing up my stones?” He sighed.

Before he could speak further, Yang Kai directly turned the board over. At that instant, all the stones were hoisted into the air upon impact.

Wu Kuang said with a smile, “Did you know how many people you’re about to kill by doing that?”
...
It was then Yang Kai snorted and took a seat across from Wu Kuang before he carefully put the stones back on the board. He didn’t intend to put them back in their original spots. Thus, he just arranged them properly.

Then, he checked on those stones, and upon making sure that they were fine, he let out a long sigh.

Mei Jiu’er didn’t understand why Yang Kai cared so much about these stones, so out of curiosity, she sent her Divine Sense towards the board and instantly fell into a dazed state as she was rooted to the spot. It was as though her Soul had been sucked out of her, and she had become a living corpse.

All of a sudden, a gentle force engulfed her, which caused her to come to her senses. Her pretty face had turned pale as she said in shock, “Senior, the board and the stones…”
Rather than a board, what was before her was an entire Star Field, and the stones were also not what they seemed to be as they were clearly whole Stars.

This amiable-looking old man with the demeanour of an immortal was battling against himself using the Star Field as a board and the Stars as pieces.

It was then she understood what the old man actually meant. All the stones were real Stars, and trillions of people lived on these Stars. By flipping the board over, Yang Kai had practically turned this Star Field upside down. If the stones really fell to the ground, countless lives would have been lost.

Yang Kai bowed his head and pointed at the board, “What is this?”

Wu Kuang looked away as he was meticulously probing Yang Kai’s body. Without even thinking, he replied, “Blood Sun Star Field.”

Even though Yang Kai already had a speculation, he still gasped when Wu Kuang admitted it, “You’ve refined a Star Field into such a thing?”

He didn’t know where Blood Sun Star Field was, nor had he heard of it before, but apparently, just like Heng Luo Star Field, it was also a Lower Star Field; however, it had become a board game that was right in front of him now.

Wu Kuang replied with a grin, “What’s so strange about it? There are many more in the sky.”

Yang Kai looked up as his pupils contracted because nebulas of different sizes were hovering in the sky above him. Some of them were as small as a dustpan while the bigger ones were the size of a basin. There was some distance between them as they were not compatible. If Wu Kuang hadn’t pointed it out, Yang Kai would’ve just thought that these nebulas looked a little odd even if he happened to see them. Upon closer look now though, he realised that every nebula was a separate Star Field.

Staring fixedly at them, Yang Kai could see that the Cultivation Stars were as small as dust, on which billions of people lived.

However, just like the stones on the board, these people were not aware of the situation they were in as they went about their daily lives.

People with high enough cultiavation can refine these infinite starfields and all of its individual cultivation stars into a checkers board, a nebula, pieces of dust...all without the inhabitants of the starfields noticing what has happened to them.

-

And the powecreep continues: Not only can these individual starfields, which all stem from the OG world, the Ancestral Domain, be refined in such a way. The Higher plane of the Ancestral Domain itself was turned into just a garden for the cultivators pleasure:

“Aren’t you supposed to be in the Ancestral Domain? Why are you here? Where’s this place?” Yang Kai wasn’t willing to dwell on the topic of Demon Qi, he just wanted to find out what Wu Kuang was doing.

“We are in the Ancestral Domain,” Wu Kuang replied.

“Nonsense!” Yang Kai rebuked. It wasn’t like he hadn’t been to the Ancestral Domain, so he knew what the place looked like; however, after giving it a thought, he realised that, since this old fart was able to refine Star Fields into boards and nebulas, it wasn’t so unthinkable that he could turn the Ancestral Domain into a garden.

Someone who achieves this, can possible create a great world (Great World is another term for "Universe World"), through merging all infinite star fields back with the origin world:

After a moment of silence, Yang Kai asked with a frown, “Is this a Sealed World?”

Wu Kuang shook his head with a smile, “It’s a Great World.”

In an instant, Yang Kai turned pale and stared at him in shock, but he knew that Wu Kuang wasn’t lying. Mei Jiu’er just thought that the World Energy in this place was ample, but she hadn’t realised that the World Principles in this place were also incredibly strong.

Just like the Star Boundary and the Demon Realm, it was also a Great World. Even though this place was no match for the former, it wasn’t too far off.

“That’s right. The Ancestral Domain is the origin of all Lower Star Fields. By refining the Ancestral Domain, it significantly reduced the effort this King needed to exert in order to achieve my goal.”

Following that, he nodded gently and asked, “Does he have to devour every single Lower Star Field and integrate them with the Ancestral Domain?”

Duan Hong Chen replied, “You’re fairly strong now, so I’m sure you can see that the Ancestral Domain has gone through some changes. The old fart isn’t wrong to say that it is a Great World. According to our estimation, if we manage to integrate all the Lower Star Fields, the Ancestral Domain will indeed become a Great World. By then, the Ancestral Domain will become a Plane that is an equal match for the Star Boundary. You have to understand that every single Lower Star Field was separated from the Ancestral Domain in the past. What we’re doing is just amalgamating them, returning them to their original state. It would be best if we could integrate all the Star Fields as no one can tell what the outcome will be if one or two are missing.”

----

And all of this STILL happens inside the first Great World / Universe World. Not a single step has been taken outside.

---

Scaling wise this pairs the traditional estimate of strenght of being Multiversal+ as well as the newer / alternative approach of higher dimensionality.

What tiering system would we apply here and what would be a good baseline?

Man having read so far in advance to check some confirmations really makes catching up that much harder. Going from infinite universes within universes to how YK needs to debate with his brothers in their bumscrew nowhere dimension about who gets the bigger room feel so pointless

Martial Peak Novel Cosmology Entry 1: Cultivation Stars (TLDR at the end)

What is a cultivation star?
“These big forces all occupy a number of Cultivation Stars, two or three on the low end, seven or eight at the high end, each one is different,” Shen Tu was clearly more informed about the Star Field than Yang Kai, and seeing how the latter seemed to be ignorant of even these basic facts, he patiently explained.
“Cultivation Stars?” Yang Kai frowned.
“Stars that are suitable for cultivators to inhabit,” Shen Tu explained, “The Star Field is indeed vast and contains a countless number of stars, but for various reasons, most of them aren’t suitable for long term living. Stars that can support life are called Cultivation Stars.”
“Got it,” Yang Kai nodded lightly, indicating he understood.
“However, those stars that aren’t suitable to permanently occupy aren’t worthless. Some of those stars are rich in rare ores while some of them have environments suitable for raising precious spirit grasses and medicines, such stars are respectively called Ore Stars and Medicine Stars. The big forces occupy many Ore Stars and Medicine Stars, allowing them to obtain massive amounts of resources to help develop themselves. Of course, there are many Death Stars out there too, stars covered in Death Qi without ores, herbs, or even World Energy.”

How cultivation stars are created
Example 1: Tong Xua Realm
Suddenly, a mystical aura began to defuse through the underground abyss, one that soothed Yang Kai’s irritable mood.

Frowning slightly, he immersed himself in sensing this aura.

Faintly, he seemed to be able to comprehend something.

Hastily closing his eyes, Yang Kai began to investigate carefully.

In the vast Star Field, amidst the endless darkness, there was nothing, not even light. This seemed to be an extremely ancient age, one that was impossible to trace.

Yang Kai looked around but could not see anything, not even himself.

Time passed little by little in this desolate loneliness.

He didn’t know how many hundreds of thousands of years passed, but all of a sudden, one day, amidst the dark and boundless Star Field, a little light suddenly appeared. This light was small at first, but it soon spread out like fire across a prairie.

The entire Star Field became turbulent from this massive shockwave of energy.

Millions of large or small meteorites flew about before gathering together and merging under the influence of some kind of magical force.

Many grains of sand would eventually build a tower, and gradually, a star appeared in the Star Field.

This was a newly born star, without any energy fluctuations, and still engulfed in darkness. It drifted along like a helpless child wandering the vast Star Field without any destination, even forgetting where it originally came from.

Millions of years passed, and finally, this wandering star arrived at a massive Sun Star and for the first time felt a gentle light full of warmth.

It stopped here and began to orbit around this Sun Star.

Gradually, life began to sprout on its surface as green plants and flowers pushed up from the ground.

After millions of years of evolution, finally, sentient creatures began to appear on this star. They were ancient creatures belonging to the oldest of races.

They eagerly learnt, grew, and became stronger as they lived.

They branched out and soon split into different races.

Human Race, Monster Race, Demon Race, and many other strange races.

No longer satisfied with the life they currently had, these races began to fight for various resources, discovered ways to make themselves stronger, and eventually began to cultivate.

Some races perished while others rose and became stronger.

As time passed, and as the evolution of the various races continued, this star gradually became colourful and filled with energy. As the major races grew prosperous, the star itself also prospered.

All living beings drew energy from the star unrestrainedly, obtaining various things that were beneficial to themselves.

At some point, however, the star began to grow old.

It no longer had as much energy for the beings to cultivate with, and it no longer had excess energy to give birth to precious and rare cultivation materials.

It began to become barren. It was strong in will but weak in strength, and looking at the countless creatures living on it, it felt helpless.

The prosperity of ancient times gradually faded away and the World Energy aura became thinner and thinner. At the same time, the cultivation realms of cultivators became lower and lower.

No one could sense higher levels of the Heavenly Way and Martial Dao.

It had grown old, like a kind father, a kind mother, who took pains to raise its children, raising them with unconditional love, granting them every request it could without complaint.

However, it could no longer provide any more help to its children.

It had once been youthful and full of vitality, but now, it could barely manage to maintain its feeble existence.

Its children call it Tong Xuan Realm!

…..

Yang Kai woke up from that mysterious state, and his eyes flashed with the vicissitudes of life.

He had witnessed the birth of a Cultivation Star, watched it prosper, weaken, and gradually tread upon the path to death. Like this Cultivation Star, he had seemingly experienced hundreds of millions of years, giving him an indescribable feeling.

Yang Kai’s state of mind and mood received an unprecedented consolidation. At this moment, his understanding of the world had reached an incredible height, just like a wise man who had lived countless years, his eyes flashing with wisdom.
Example 2: Shadowed Star
After some unmeasurable amount of time passed, a massive star appeared in Yang Kai’s field of vision. This star had no vitality, not even simple plants, a barren Dead Star by all accounts.

Staring at this massive star, however, Yang Kai felt it was a little familiar.

“Shadowed Star!” An epiphany struck Yang Kai as he observed Shadowed Star from the Starry Sky. It had the size and appearance of the current Shadowed Star, but none of the vitality.

“I understand now,” Yang Kai had not comprehended what Yang Yan had done to him until this moment, and feeling grateful in his heart, he quickly focused his attention to fully grasp this extremely rare and precious opportunity.

In his disembodied state, Yang Kai was unable to perceive the passage of time at all. It seemed that only a moment had gone by, while at the same time hundreds of millions of years had passed. Finally, traces of life began to appear on the dead Shadowed Star, the sea ebbed and flowed while plants and greenery began filling the land. Soon, flesh and blood creatures were also born.

One by one, different races rose, carving their mark into the long river of history before disappearing once more.

Many different civilizations rose and fell as Yang Kai looked on.

He felt auras from ancient and primordial times, and as he observed these epochs change, part of them seemed to integrate into his being, as if he had passed through all the aeons together with this star.

He witnessed its birth, development, peaks and troughs with his own eyes…

Gradually, Yang Kai began to have a peculiar feeling that he was this star, and the star was him!

A Star Master!

Only a Star Master would experience such a sensation.

When Xia Ning Chang refined the Star Source of Tong Xuan Realm, Yang Kai had accompanied and assisted her, granting him the opportunity to observe the evolution and development of Tong Xuan Realm, so now seeing such a similar scene again, how could he not understand?

This was clearly the process one needed to undertake when refining a Star Source and become a Star Master!

Yang Kai opened his eyes and a strange feeling filled his heart.

It was as if all of Shadowed Star had become a part of his body. He could feel any piece of land on Shadowed Star he wanted to, perceive the fertility or barrenness of any location on this Cultivation Star and discover any creature living upon it!

If he wanted to, he could easily reach any place on Shadowed Star without any restrictions, and if he so desired, he could cause the sky to fall, the earth to crack, or tsunamis to rise with but a single thought…

Clenching his fist lightly, Yang Kai felt the entire world’s aura shake slightly as a bell-like sound echoed across the sky.

At that moment, the trillions of lives on Shadowed Star shook as they looked up towards the Heavens, wondering what had just happened.

Shadowed Star underwent a very subtle change when Yang Kai became its Star Master. This change was indistinct and only a few masters were even aware of it, everyone else remaining completely ignorant.

From now on, Shadowed Star’s prosperity would be tied closely to Yang Kai’s, and with the improvement of his cultivation, the vitality of all of Shadowed Star would also burgeon more and more radiantly.

Yang Kai examined himself and found that inside his dantian there was now a tiny sphere which resembled Shadowed Star, only shrunk down hundreds of millions of times. It sat in place there, spinning at a subtle speed.

[Star Source Strength!]

If one wanted to become the Star Master of a Cultivation Star, they would first need to refine that Cultivation Star’s Star Source, and what Yang Yan had implanted into his body before was undoubtedly the Star Source of Shadowed Star.

From the miniature Shadowed Star, Yang Kai felt a subtle power nourish his body with every rotation it made, while at the same time drawing on his power to strengthen itself.

This was a mutually beneficial, symbiotic process.

While Yang Kai was extremely excited and happy, he also had many doubts.

Had he really just become the Star Master of Shadowed Star? The lord and ruler of this vast Cultivation Star?

Cultivation Stars populations
Example 1: Green Mountain Star
Luo Hai’s angry roar instantly resounded through the sky and directly impacted the surrounding Star Field.

Green Mountains Star shook in response to its Star Master’s anger.

At this moment, the entire Green Mountains Star seemed to tremble, with the earth trembling and tsunamis forming, as if it was the advent of Armageddon.

Green Mountains Star’s trillions of inhabitants all paled.

Old Jiu and the others leapt to their feet as well, their faces filled with shock.

“It’s Sir Luo Hai!” A hint of panic appeared on the face of the old woman surnamed Lei.

“Who made him so angry?”

“Who could make him so angry?”

Example 2: Scarlet Wave Star:
At that moment, on Scarlet Wave Star, every bird in flight fell from the sky, and every beast on the ground curled up and cowered.

In giant cities, small villages, headquarters of powerful Sects, and homes of tiny families, trillions of people all felt a terrifying aura press on their hearts.

This pressure was so horrifying it felt as if they would die at any moment.

Example 3: Shadowed Star
Clenching his fist lightly, Yang Kai felt the entire world’s aura shake slightly as a bell-like sound echoed across the sky.

At that moment, the trillions of lives on Shadowed Star shook as they looked up towards the Heavens, wondering what had just happened.

Shadowed Star underwent a very subtle change when Yang Kai became its Star Master. This change was indistinct and only a few masters were even aware of it, everyone else remaining completely ignorant.

Example 3: Purple Star
At this moment, most of the memorial tablets in the hall had broken. Even if a few of them had not shattered completely, they had countless cracks on their surface and were clearly on the brink of collapse.

These tablets represented the ancestors who had made great contributions to Purple Star in the past. Each of these ancestors had been a powerful master who was famous in his or her time and that even today was admired and respected by the trillions of cultivators who lived under Purple Star’s rule.

After their deaths, their descendants would place a tablet here to be forever remembered by future generations.

Cultivation Star Sizes
Example 1: Shadowed Star
Realizing he had been insensitive, Yang Kai wanted to apologize, but just as he was thinking about how he should comfort her, Dai Yuan smiled and said, “That was her fate. Since she chose this path for herself, she should not have any complaints about It. However, before achieving at least the minor accomplishment stage of this Secret Art, no one can unleash its full power, and over time they will build up toxicity in their body. Eventually, it will reach a point where it can no longer be expelled and advancing further will become precarious. This is knowledge I have acquired from my predecessor and my own life experience. Now, if I want to break through to the Origin Returning Realm, I first need Junior Brother Yang’s help to resolve the Coloured Glass Toxin accumulated in my body over the years, otherwise, I will die!”

Yang Kai nodded lightly, somewhat understanding now why she had run millions of kilometres to Dragon Cave Mountain to ask for his help.

However, Dai Yuan had said that before achieving minor accomplishment in this Secret Art, no one could display its full might, something that made Yang Kai realize that the last time he saw Dai Yuan take action, she was not actually using her full strength.

Example 2: Tong Xua Realm
Although the Three Clans had joined forces once thirty years ago, there had been many small scale conflicts between them over cultivation resources over the past few decades, and the friction between the Monster Race and Demon Race had been the most serious.

Fortunately, both the Monster Race Great Seniors and the Demon Generals understood how to exercise restraint and had not acted personally, otherwise, the conflict would definitely have escalated greatly.

Since it was just the younger generation and lower-level subordinates who were competing with one another, there was still some room for compromise.

The situation could remain calm when the masters from these two races were separated by millions of kilometres, but now that they were all here together in Nine Heavens Holy Land, and after spending many days in boredom, everyone was beginning to feel irritable, and Meng Wu Ya was beginning to have trouble suppressing the tensions between the two groups.

Example 4: Scarlet Wave Star
Millions of kilometres away from Pure Ice Island stood Scarlet Wave Star’s other peak force, Brilliant Flame Sect.

Brilliant Flame Sect’s headquarters was located in the best cultivation environment on Scarlet Wave Star. Its headquarters was extremely beautiful and filled with outstanding masters. In this place, Brilliant Flame Sect’s disciples could cultivate at an extremely rapid pace.

Scarlet Wave Star’s two great forces had always stood as equals; however, in recent years, Brilliant Flame Sect had slowly been gaining the upper hand in their millennia-old battle. The reason for this was the rumour that Ice Heart Valley’s Supreme Elder had experienced a cultivation dissonance and been badly wounded.

Special Trivia - Star Masters
Explanation 1:
Yang Kai couldn’t help raising his brow and asking, “Does that mean they could control that Cultivation Star?”

“Exactly! Throughout the Star Field, every Star Master that controls the Star Source of their Cultivation Star can draw energy from that entire star to supplement their own. While standing on their own Cultivation Star, their strength will never dry up, it’s literally inexhaustible! Little brat, do you now understand the power of a Star Master?”

“I understand,” Yang Kai turned pale, “Then this place…”

Explanation 2:
Refining a Star Source was extremely difficult and only Origin King Realm masters were qualified to even attempt it. Once one successfully refined the Star Source of a Cultivation Star though, they would become that Cultivation Star’s Star Master!

Explanation 3:
As his hands rose, the entire Cape Mountain Range trembled, and a violent sound rang out from inside. It was like the beating of a thousand war drums that spread to every corner of the Cape Mountain Range.

Visible to the naked eye, the entire mountain range which stretched over a hundred thousand kilometres slowly began to rise.

Qian Tong sucked in a cool breath as he felt a deep sense of yearning in his heart.

This was the power of a Star Master. With a single thought, one could transform the world itself, moving mountains and seas…

Moreover, Yang Kai’s actions didn’t destroy this mountain range, otherwise, he could have just completely flattened it.

Martial Peak Novel Cosmology Entry 1.2: Cultivation Stars Scaling

A Second Order Origin King Star Masters attack with the support of his Star can affect space
Out in the Star Field, with the aid of the Star Force Support, Luo Hai's aura rose wildly as he stared at the location of Yang Kai from afar. Opening his mouth, Luo Hai condensed a white beam of light that he then spat out like a flying sword.

Ten thousand kilometres away, Yang Kai's hair all stood on end as a feeling of crisis gripped his heart.

Although he did not know what happened to Luo Hai, he knew that his opponent had become truly enraged. Not daring to neglect, Yang Kai stretched out his hand and slashed the space in front of him.

This time, however, his attempt to tear space did not go smoothly. The space where Yang Kai stood seemed to be sealed by something, and no matter how he tried to tear it open, he could only create a half meter long Void Crack and was unable to expand it any larger.

Chi chi chi…

Violent scraping sounds resounded all around as the white light approached. Even before this attack arrived, Yang Kai felt as if he had fallen into a blizzard from the potent murderous intent it contained. It was as if he was stuck atop a snowy mountain and the sharp wind was cutting into his skin.

[Not good!] Yang Kai's complexion changed drastically as he saw the sword light getting closer and closer. Not daring to remain, he desperately pushed his Saint Qi and flew out.

But, as soon as he began moving, the white sword light slashed through the spot he was previously.

Space seemed to be torn in half as a massive Void Crack appeared!

Luo Hai did not understand anything about the Dao of Space, but his attack was so powerful it was actually able to affect the stability of space around him.

The remaining power of this attack exploded outwards, some of it landing on Yang Kai and releasing a terrifying sound.

In an instant, Yang Kai's clothes were dyed golden by his blood and hundreds of tiny holes appeared in his intrepid flesh! From each hole, a fierce Qi penetrated Yang Kai's body and tried to destroy his meridians and physique.

The fallout from this attack was already so strong, it made Yang Kai realize that if he had been struck head-on, he would likely have been vaporized instantly.

The same Second Order Origin King Star Master without the support of his Star can attack with a radius of "a few 10000 Kilometers" at once and destroy a (dead) Cultivation Star
A day passed by, and Luo Hai had traversed the surrounding ten thousand kilometre region several times, carefully searching it again and again but never finding anything.

This made him extremely annoyed.

He was even beginning to doubt whether Yang Kai was really hiding here. Perhaps this little brat had actually already managed to escape!

Suddenly coming to a stop, Luo Hai's expression became gloomy, as if he had made some kind of decision. He grits his teeth and shouted, "Boy, you've forced this King's hand! I hope you won't regret it when you arrive in the next life!"

Saying so, Luo Hai suddenly stretched out his hands and faced his palms towards one another.

A terrifying Saint Qi erupted from his figure as a ball of light appeared between his palms.

The Saint Qi in his body seemed to have found an exit and began gathering in this glowing ball of white light.

In the blink of an eye, a white energy ball the size of a fist appeared in front of Luo Hai.

Although this ball was not very big, it contained a terrifying amount of power capable of shattering worlds.

And as Luo Hai continued infusing more of his Saint Qi, the energy inside this light ball only grew more intense.

The Divine Sense Yang Kai left outside the Sealed World Bead sensed this scene and he realized that the situation was deteriorating. Knowing what Luo Hai was planning to do, for a moment, Yang Kai did not know how to respond and could only force himself to calm down and watch.

Ten breaths later, the white ball of light between Luo Hai's hands had expanded to the size of a washbasin.

Luo Hai gave a slight grin and pushed his hands forward.

The white ball of light floated forward lightly, flying out a hundred kilometres in no time at all.

The next moment, a dazzling white light blossomed from that location, and the surrounding ten thousand kilometres were instantly flooded with a blinding brilliance. With the white light as its centre, within a radius of a few ten thousand kilometres, everything was disintegrated into dust.

Countless asteroids suspended in the Starry Sky were vaporized and even a small Dead Star nearby cracked apart and disappeared.

The full-powered blow of a Second-Order Origin King produced such terrifying effects!

Luo Hai did not move, simply expanding his Divine Sense while paying attention to any movement in his surroundings.

He believed that as long as Yang Kai was still hiding nearby, he would definitely die!

With a Second-Order Origin Returning Realm cultivation, it was simply impossible for him to resist such a violent attack.

As for the Origin Essence Crystal and Emperor Artifact, neither was an ordinary treasure and they couldn't be destroyed in such an energy blast.

Luo Hai doesn't need to catch Yang Kai alive; he only needed those two treasures!

Everything within a few ten thousand kilometres disappeared, leaving an empty void. What shocked Luo Hai, however, was that there was no trace of Yang Kai at all, nor any sign of the Origin Essence Crystal or Emperor Artifact.

"Did he really escape?" Luo Hai's face sank and his mood immediately became extremely gloomy.

Additional Trivia information: That same cultivator also weighed the potential idea of blowing up a populated cultivation star, but decided against it:

The little brat had somehow managed to disappear again, only leaving behind a residual Space Force fluctuation.

"So troublesome!" Luo Hai was in a bad mood as he turned his head towards a huge, vibrant Cultivation Star a few hundred thousand kilometres away. Narrowing his eyes, he muttered, "So you want to hide there? Good, this King wants to see how long you can hide!"

He quickly inferred Yang Kai's intentions and judged that he was definitely hiding on this Cultivation Star.

Because once he hid there, it would be impossible to find him easily.

Cultivation Stars were different from Dead Stars in the Starry Sky. Dead Stars could be destroyed at will and no one would care, but if a Cultivation Star was destroyed, it would likely lead to the entire Star Field becoming his enemy. Even if Luo Hai hid back on Green Mountains Star, he would probably still die.

Without destroying this Cultivation Star, however, looking for someone who was deliberately hiding was undoubtedly like looking for a needle in a haystack. Even Luo Hai was powerless here; after all, this was not Green Mountains Star where he could use his connection to the Star Source to spy on everything at once.

"Is this Scarlet Wave Star?" Luo Hai quickly came to the place a hundred thousand kilometres above the Cultivation Star, and after scanning it with his eyes, he realized that he had been here before and coldly snorted, "Fine, I'll go see that old ghost Chi Huo first. I haven't seen him for a thousand years now; I wonder if that old ghost's cultivation has made any progress since then!"

Martial Peak Novel Cosmology Entry 2: Star Fields and Ancestral Domain (Inconsistencies, potential Scalings involving Star Fields and Conclusions at the end)

From the last entry we learned that Every cultivation star is located within a Star Field. So in this entry the focus will be placed on these Star Fields, their trivia and their structure in the story.

Starting with some basic trivia to showcase their real-life equivalence to our own outer space.

There is no sound in space
The two of them did not restrain themselves and quickly began breaking apart one asteroid after another. A strange fact about the Starry Sky was that there was no way to produce sound, so all communication had to be done via Divine Sense transmission. Therefore, even though they were wantonly destroying these asteroids, not a single noise was actually made.

Millions of stars are visible
The next moment, what appeared before Zhang Ao’s eyes was the vast Starry Sky, with millions of points of light from distant twinkling stars in the background and a terrifying destructive energy brushing against his flesh. All of this was a familiar experience to Yang Kai.

Different parts of a Star Field can be polar opposite with an innumerable number of cultivating stars having been come into existence
In front of Yang Kai, a new piece of this vast Star Field entered his view.

The sector of the Star Field was filled with countless beautiful shining stars that seemed to exude a rich aura. It was as if he had arrived at a different side of the Star Field, this one filled with warmth and life while the previous one contained nothing but dark silence, the two diametrically opposite one another.

Innumerable large and small stars had been born in this Star Field since ancient times, each of them in motion, forming a myriad of patterns as they seemingly rotated around some central point.

Black holes can form at the center of entire systems within the Star Field (They also can disappear again)
This piece of information greatly stunned Yang Kai. This incredibly beautiful stretch of the Starry Sky, where Yang Kai had even seriously thought about entering retreat to cultivate, was one of the Star Fields most dangerous restricted areas, the Chaotic Abyss!

The massive, beautiful stars in this region not only exuded massive amounts of energy, they also created a twisted and chaotic domain that confused one’s senses, causing cultivators to easily become lost. Worse off, it was extremely difficult to leave this chaotic field, causing many who inadvertently entered to become trapped inside forever.

At the very centre of Chaotic Abyss though, there was a massive black hole that seemed to be capable of swallowing everything around it.

The Saint King-class High-Rank Starship, with everyone still on board it, was actually being drawn towards this black hole which now seemed like the giant maw of a great ominous beast ready to swallow them whole.

In front of this horrifying display of force, whether it was the Transcendents, Saints, or even Saint Kings, all of them realized in this moment their own insignificance.

Before this black hole, no one could guarantee they could survive.

The Star Field sizes are boundless, endless, infinite
The Star Shuttle’s blue hue flashed through the endless Starry Sky, its thin protective shield tightly covering Yang Kai and blocking out the destructive power of the Starry Sky.

Facing the temptation of the Immortal Tree. Kong Fa simply could not resist! He could only hope that his luck was good enough to fish in troubled waters while the masters fought amongst themselves.

Just as the Martial Dao was boundless, so too was the Star Field.

The chase continued through the Star Field for the next five months.

Yang Kai was always in the lead, teasing and taunting Zi Long’s group, a calm and relaxed look on his face. His condition had long ago been restored to its peak, so it would be quite easy for him to get rid of Zi Long’s entanglement.

The Starry Sky was vast and endless.

Amidst the cold, dark, Star Field, Yang Kai’s Star Shuttle soared forward.

Amidst the endless expanse of the Starry Sky, the only light came from the distant twinkling stars.

Yang Kai had been wandering through the Star Field now for six months.

In the endless Star Field, the pitch-black Starship sped along. Its speed was seemingly slow, but it was actually as quick as lightning, travelling several hundred kilometres in a flash

Looking out towards the endless Starry Sky, Yang Kai grit his teeth secretly and desperately pushed his Saint Qi and Shi, trying to get rid of the invisible shackles binding him, but to his shock, he was still completely incapable of moving.

It was as if the surrounding space had been frozen solid.

It was a huge azure sphere that looked like a giant eye in this boundless Star Field. It radiated a mesmerizing glow and was encircled by a layer of faint aura mist.

Yang Kai sat on the peak of a barren mountain on a certain Dead Star in the endless Star Field.

The Star Emperor Tokens began to hum even more noticeably as they seemed to draw in a kind of mystical energy from the infinite Star Field, and energy that caused the nine tokens to radiate a brilliant light.

Next some more exotic information in regards to Star Fields which have no real-life equivalence but are important for their place in the cosmology of the Novel

All Star Fields originate from the Ancestral Domain and their number is innumerable:
The Ancestral Domain is the ancestral land of all Star Fields!” He Yun Xiang wouldn’t let go of this chance to leave a good impression on Yang Kai, so she started explaining it to him before Lu Huai Shuang could, “There are countless Planes in this boundless universe, as well as innumerable Star Fields. However, have you ever wondered how these Star Fields were born?”

He Yun Xiang smiled and waved her hand, upon which the World Energy in front of her surged and turned into a washbasin-sized orb. She pointed at this World Energy Orb and uttered, “This is the Ancestral Domain, where the Heavens and Earth were born!”

He Yun Xiang waved her hand again, upon which some streams of World Energy separated from the orb and stretched out. While using her technique, she explained, “No one knows what happened when the universe was born, but in the early days of the Heavens and Earth, a certain Plane was formed, a Star Field.” As she waved her hand, those streams of World Energy formed into fist-sized orbs and hovered around the first orb.

Then, she moved her hand again, after which more and more World Energy orbs appeared. In just a short moment, countless World Energy orbs floated in the air. They came in different sizes and levels of brightness. Their proximity with the first World Energy Orb varied too.

Some World Energy orbs would burst, but at the same time, more World Energy orbs would be born. However, none of these World Energy Orbs was comparable to the first one.

Star fields are countless and not interconnected but all link to the Ancestral Domain
He Yun Xiang went on to explain, “Although the countless Star Fields are not interconnected, they’re all somewhat related to the Ancestral Domain.

However, judging from what happened earlier, he could see that the entrances to the Ancestral Domain were fixed.

That seemed to be a fixed passageway that connected the Ancestral Domain and the Star Fields, which gave those people a chance to keep watch in that place.

The Ancestral Domain was supposedly connected to all Star Fields. Many Masters had discussed before the feasibility of using the Ancestral Domain as a terminal to head to other Star Fields.

The Ancestral Domain is a higher realm than the Star Fields but not as high as the Star Boundary
The view around them was quickly flowing past them as Yang Kai and He Yun Xiang took in the Ancestral Domain’s magnificence while riding her artifact.

The average cultivators in the Ancestral Domain might not be aware of it, but the top cultivators would be able to gain access to this kind of secretive information.

The Star Boundary was almost a legendary place. It was rumoured that it was a broader place with even more abundant World Energy. The environment there was more advanced, and there was a higher Martial Dao to be pursued.

Star fields have their own barrier made out of their own World Principle / Law
“You should know that this Star Field is not the only Star Field that exists. There is a powerful barrier that separates individual Star Fields from one another, formed by the Star Field’s Principles themselves.

Yang Yan laughed lightly, “Do you think it is such a simple thing to break through the barriers of a Star Field? Principles are the laws that govern the world, and those laws are supreme. Even the top ten masters from the place I come from do not dare infringe upon those Principles at will. To break through those Principles and reach this place, one must pay an enormous price!”

These Principle Laws are similar but different from one another
Although both Grand Desolation Star Field and Heng Luo Star Field were Star Fields with roughly the same World Principles, they still had their differences.

Star Fields are a lower plane and the source of all cultivators
“Star Fields are the foundation of cultivators, so the destruction of any Star Field is a matter of great significance. At that time, the top ten masters realized the seriousness of this problem, so they joined forces to create rules which prevented other masters from abusing this practice.

Yang Yan explained, “The Star Boundary and Star Fields are inseparable, and they’re closely connected. Take a tree as an example. The countless Lower Star Fields are like a tree’s roots, and the Star Boundary is like the tree crown. Cultivators like us are the fruits on this tree. Fruits will only grow when the roots absorb nutrients from the ground.

Star Fields can be connected to a higher realm like they are to their own Origin Domain Ancestral Land or be closed by the higher realms inhabitants
Once there were many Star Masters, but some twenty thousand years ago, after Heaven Devouring Great Emperor destroyed many Star Fields, the channels connecting the Star Boundary and the various Star Fields were sealed, and the Masters from the Star Boundary could no longer easily travel to the Lower Star Fields to refine Star Sources.

Zhu Qing answered, “It’s indeed difficult. You should know that since the Heaven Devouring Great Emperor destroyed many Lower Star Fields, all the channels between the Star Boundary and those Star Fields were sealed, making it all but impossible to travel between Star Fields and the Star Boundary.”

In the past, the Star Boundary was connected to essentially all Lower Star Fields. Not only could the people from below go up once they reached a certain cultivation realm, but the Masters from the Star Boundary could also go down using some methods.

After the war in the Shattered Star Sea, the Great Emperors gathered together and had a serious discussion. All of them realized that they had to put a stop to these heinous acts. The Lower Star Fields were the roots for the tree, and if they allowed these wolves to do whatever they pleased, the tree would eventually die. Hence, the Great Emperors joined forces and built a barrier around the Star Boundary. Since then, those from the Star Boundary were unable to descend to the Star Fields to commit any crimes. Because of this, the Great Emperors also founded an organisation called Star Court to monitor the situation in the Lower Star Fields. That was also how the positions of Star Field Guardians came about.

Just like Cultivation Stars from the previous entry have Star Masters, Star Fields have too with the same (and some additional) benefits
With a smile, Wu Kuang replied, “You’ll have to make use of the Star Field Source.”

“Star Field Source?” Yang Kai arched his brow as an idea flashed across his mind. It seemed important, but he couldn’t catch it.

There’s a Star Source in every Star, so naturally, there’s also a Star Field Source in every Star Field.

“In addition, if you can refine this Star Field Source, it means that the entire Star Field has recognized your existence. Then, you can become the owner of that Star Field and control the destinies of everything in it with just a thought!”

“You could say so, but the owner of a Star Field has an even higher authority.” Wu Kuang suddenly lifted his head and changed the topic, “However, it is not simple to refine a Star Field Source. This King had destroyed countless Star Fields in the past and only found several Star Field Sources, but this King has never succeeded in refining them.”

Star Fields will regenerate as long as their Source is not destroyed
Wu Kuang continued, “No matter how badly the entire Star Field is damaged, as long as the Star Field Source still exists, the Star Field will eventually be restored, but if the Star Field Source is destroyed, the Star Field is done for.

Inconsistencies
While the size of the Star Fields has been said to be boundless, endless and infinite, a critical lore moment contradicts these depictions.

When Yang Kai becomes a Star Field Master he tracks the process in a numerical way and using percentages, which should be impossible in an infinite universe

The Star Field was truly too vast. He had spent two years only to refine an area that did not even make up 1/20th of the entire Star Field. In other words, it would take him at least 40 to 50 years to completely refine the entire Star Field at the previous speed.

Day after day passed by, followed by year after year… Yang Kai had navigated his way through the Star Field, forgetting about the passage of time. His mind entirely immersed in the refining process.

The Star Chart inside his Knowledge Sea had been 90% illuminated by now, and there was only a little bit left. Over the years, he had more or less traversed the entire Star Field. Even the most remote and distant places had not been overlooked.

While this is just a single instance compared to all the times the Star Fields have been described another way, the lore ramifications are vast and too profound for it to be ignored. As such this incident should be used as reference point to disprove infinite Star Field sizes.

Potential Scalings involving Star Fields
Great Emperors can destroy Star Fields themselves and when they battle each other break the Laws of the universe and create new dimensions

Lan Xun further explained, “Back then, that Sir could not be restrained in the Star Boundary as no one could match him, so he acted unscrupulously. He even broke through the World Barrier and travelled to the Lower Star Fields. Wherever he passed, Star Fields were destroyed and Stars were shattered while all the Star Sources of those Cultivation Stars were devoured by him.

[In the battle back then, many Great Emperors had besieged Heaven Devouring Great Emperor. Could that battle have taken place in this Star Field?] Yang Kai suddenly had such a thought. If this wasn’t the case, why else would there be shattered Cultivation Stars in this Shattered Star Sea!?

Xiao Yu Yang chuckled, “Naturally. This is only the story the average cultivator knows of, while those of us here understand the real truth of this matter. However, during that battle, it is true that worlds collapsed, and the order of Heaven and Earth was shattered, leading to the creation of the Shattered Star Sea, a broken, but Self-Contained World.

If they ignored this, the next unlucky person might be themselves, so they formed an alliance and declared war against Heaven Devouring Great Emperor. Their battle shattered the sky and split worlds, causing the universe to shatter, resulting in the creation of this Shattered Star Sea!”

----

Especially potent Great Emperors can achieve higher dimensionality towards lower realms, refining entire Star Fields into board games or one-tier higher realms into Gardens without its inhabitants realising what is happening

Wu Kuang said with a smile, “Did you know how many people you’re about to kill by doing that?

In fact, Yang Kai didn’t need him to say something so obvious as he immediately realised that something was off after he flipped the board over. With his expression changed drastically, he pushed his Demon Qi hard and extended both hands, after which an innumerable number of phantom hands appeared in the gazebo. After all the phantom hands returned to Yang Kai, he could be seen carrying a large number of stones in his arms, and it appeared that he was still reeling from the shock.

Or the Star Fields higher Realm into a garden

Conclusion
While they depict the lowest hierarchy in the wider cosmology, Star Fields are their own self contained universes and essential for the survival of the higher realms (ref: Root/Crown/Tree analogy above).

They originate from a higher plane called "Ancestral Domain" and each Star Field is naturally connected to it.

In Theory, Star Fields are also connected to the highest realm, although its inhabitants can artificially close that connection.

Due to that Star Fields are called "Lower Plane" or "Lower World".

Star Fields are not connected to each other and a barrier prevents incursions. Each Star Field works under a similar but in the end different Principle / Law, setting them further apart as unique entities.

Despite being labeled as infinite or similar, a key-event disproves Star Fields being infinite, making them finite Universes.

Characters with a high enough cultivation can destroy Star Fields themselves. When these characters battle, they not only destroy the Star Field but shatter the complete universe, erase its laws and create new dimensions.

Characters with high enough cultivation can achieve higher dimensionality towards the Star Fields

Martial Peak Novel Cosmology Entry 3: Great Worlds and Great Territories (Inconsistencies, potential Scalings involving Great Worlds, Great Territories and Conclusions at the end)

In the last two entries we learned about cultivation stars and their location within the Star Fields. We then learned about these Star Fields, their designation as lower World and where they originate from. This entry focuses on the next realm within the Martial Peak Cosmology: The Great World, otherwise known as the Universe World and their location within a Great Territory.

A Great World is divided in territories and bigger than Star Fields, having them as nebula in their sky
Beyond Blue Feather Sect, the Star Boundary seemed to be divided into four primary territories split between south, west, north, and east. Each of these territories was unimaginably vast, to the point where even a Dao Source master could spend their entire life travelling and still not see everything in a single territory.

This information allowed Yang Kai to vividly feel the magnificence of the Star Boundary as he realized just how much wider a world it was than the Star Field. Just the words of these three had painted an epic picture before Yang Kai, causing him to yearn for that broader sky.

[This is the Star Boundary, right?] Yang Kai wondered to himself.

As he lay there, looking up, everything he saw seemed so different from what he could see in the Star Field. In the sky, huge, beautiful nebulae of every shape and size stretched out before him.

Such a scene could not be witnessed anywhere in the Star Field. The night sky of the Star Field was only filled with gleaming stars.

Yang Kai could not help showing a thoughtful look.

If that was the case though, could one of the countless nebulae he had seen just now really be the Star Field he had come from? Was that why the shape of that particular nebula was exactly the same as the Star Chart in his Knowledge Sea.

Did that mean the other nebulas were also other Star Fields?

Thinking so, Yang Kai could not help feeling shocked. According to his observations just now, there were almost too many nebulas to count, and if each of them represented a unique Star Field, then this world which was able to see them all was simply too astonishing in size.

The scale and scope of this world were probably so grand that even an Emperor would not be able to see its complete form.

Along the way, he was able to see the various rivers and mountains of the Star Field. The cultivation environment here was far better than any Cultivation Star in his native Star Field, and at night, when he looked up, he could see the clustered, brilliantly glowing nebulae, each representing a lower Star Field.

Each Great World has its unique World Principles / Laws
Although the World Principles between Great Worlds were similar, it was absolutely impossible for them to be identical. Take the Star Boundary and the Demon Realm for example. Their different Principles allowed them to give birth to distinct power systems.

A Universe World with sufficient Martial Dao would have its own Principles and Will.

The World Principles of each world were different, and the only thing they had in common was World Force. In simple terms, this was the power of the World itself made manifest.

Grea Worlds are born within the Universe Furnace, which sprays them out since the since the dawn of existence where they develop their unique Principles over time
These grains of sand were not some simple sand particles, but rather some kind of embryonic Universe World; however, because of the massive pressure and rich Dao Strength in the Infinite River, these Universe Worlds were only in their nascent form and looked like sand in a river bed.

he discovered that what looked like dust in the fog wasn’t what it seemed. The particles were unformed Universe Worlds!

Right then, a grain of sand came flying straight at Yang Kai. Without the pressure from the Universe Furnace, this grain of sand finally revealed its true form. As the distance between Yang Kai and the grain of sand shortened, it quickly transformed into the embryonic form of a Universe World that was no smaller than the Star Boundary.

When he was exploring the depths of the Infinite River, Yang Kai had seen these grains of sand and knew that they were not ordinary. Now that they had left the Universe Furnace, they had finally revealed their true appearance.

The Universe Furnace was still rapidly advancing as more colourful rays continuously shot out of its mouth.

After having calmed himself down, Yang Kai continued chasing after the Universe Furnace, occasionally avoiding the suddenly expanding celestial bodies and Celestial Phenomena that came flying at him.

The source of everything was here, the Universe Furnace!
they all originated from the Universe Furnace, brought about by its eruptions since the dawn of existence.

Each grain was a Universe World. After the grains of sand were spurted from the Universe Furnace, they would reveal their true form.

Yang Kai had been constantly correcting their direction and rushing forward during these last 500 years. The Universe Worlds they encountered along the way indeed had more complete World Principles as predicted.

This Universe Word had its World Principles fully taken shape, and there were now some of the simplest forms of life emerging.

If there was life, it meant that this Universe World had the conditions for life to exist. Perhaps after another million years of evolution, some unique creatures specific to this Universe World would emerge.

Several Great Worlds within the same plane make up a single Great Territory
Hearing that, the maidservant replied, “Replying to the honoured guest, our shop’s Universe Charts are divided into three ranks. The lowest rank ones are of single Great Territories. They include the Universe Worlds that have been discovered as well as important Spirit Provinces of these territories. The middle rank is a map of the known universe, including all the Great Territories that have been discovered. It also includes all the information in the lowest rank maps as well as the locations of all Universe Temples and Territory Gates, making it fairly comprehensive and easy to understand.”

There are thousands of known Great Territories and...
There were thousands of Great Territories in the expansive universe,

...Great Territories are unique, separated by barriers and exist separate from one another, connected by artificially created gates
and every Great Territory could be seen as a sealed space. There were very thick barriers between the Great Territories to separate them.

The boundary wall had entirely shattered, and from the broken Territory Gate, the aura of another Great Territory flowed through Yang Kai could even sense the chaotic energy fluctuating from the opposite side

With such a gigantic hand stuck in the boundary wall, Yang Kai had no hope to block the Territory Gate again, no matter how proficient he was within the Dao of Space.

Qing Kui pondered for a moment before explaining, “Rumour has it that the Great Territories were not connected with each other in ancient times. Each Great Territory existed independent of the others. Everyone thought that the Great Territory they were in was the entire Universe. However, the Great Experts of ancient times saw through the mysteries of the world and were somehow able to open passageways to other Great Territories, which was how the original Territory Gates came to be, similar to the one in front of us. As more and more Territory Gates appeared, the number of Great Territories they could explore increased

Following that, the world could be seen spinning around them, and as their vision refocused, they realised that they were already in a different Great Territory. The Starry Sky around them had changed and none of them knew how far they had travelled by just passing through the gate.

The boundary walls were a real existence; only, it was difficult for ordinary people to even perceive them.

The places where the Territory Gates were located were essentially gaps in the boundary walls, as well as the portals that connected two Great Territories.

The Great Territories of high power forces contain countless Great Worlds and low tier ones some dozen
Every Cave Heaven and Paradise controlled one or more Great Territories, in which there were countless Universe Worlds; therefore, it wasn’t hard for them to select some youths with exceptional aptitudes to send over.
At present, Void Territory controlled more than a dozen Universe Worlds, each one equivalent to the Star Boundary. As long as he could develop them properly, there was no need to fear not having enough cultivation resources.
There were over a dozen Universe Worlds in Swallowing Seas Territory, each one massive in both size and population.

Inconsistencies
1: Great Worlds are described to have their own world barriers multiple times on several occasions
Every Universe World had an invisible World Barrier. This barrier not only protected the cultivators in this world but also restricted them.
Just like the previous time, after he broke through the World Barrier and entered the Universe World, he could feel the Divine Senses of the local Great Emperors scanning him.
Yang Kai arrived at the Universe World, and after breaking through the World Barrier, he descended upon the continent.
But unlike the Barriers separating Great Territories or lower Starfields within the Great Worl itself, the Great Worlds found inside a Great Territory are located all on the physical same space and can be accessed by anyone at anytime, given enough power, even allowing sensing from within to without and vice versa:

After wandering for half a year, Yang Kai experienced all kinds of dangers in the Outer Universe just as horrifying as the Myriad Facets Insect
He even found a Universe World during this half-year of wandering.

It was a world similar to the Star Boundary, but before he approached, he felt that he was being targeted by several hostile intents.

Clearly, they were the Great Emperors of that world.

-----

2: Similarily how the lower Star Fields within a Great World have been described as boundless, endless, infinite, so are the Great Territories themselves
It took him a month to arrive, and with his current strength, it was hard to tell just how far he was from the Star Boundary. Yang Kai glanced around and everywhere he looked he saw a vast and boundless expanse
Every Great Territory was vast and boundless, so if one had the time to explore a barren nameless territory in hopes of getting lucky, he or she might as well refine Open Heaven Pills instead to strengthen their foundation.
Lang Ya Territory was vast and boundless
But like we learned above, the territories are still finite in space, albeit unfathomable vast, given the nature that they contain an uncountable amount of Great Worlds which themselves are bigger than a regular Universe.

Potential Scalings involing Great Worlds
Some feats for naturally birthed Great Worlds are:

Spirit Gods eating them

According to the jade slip, Giant Spirit Gods ate dead Universe Worlds as they roamed around the Starry Sky. They were normally mild-tempered and would avoid conflict with other people. As long as they were not offended, they were essentially harmless.
Soon, Yang Kai found out Ah Er’s purpose for visiting this place.

The Giant Spirit God had come all the way here for the dead Universe Worlds!

The Giant Spirit God Clan members were known to be powerful yet peaceful. Dead Universe Worlds were their only food. Moreover, they had a special skill that allowed them to catch a whiff of the auras of dying Universe Worlds.
After storing his current haul, Yang Kai looked up and saw that Ah Er had almost finished eating the Universe World.

Being thrown around as refined marbles

With that, she tossed a round bead towards him. There was no fluctuation of power, and it didn’t seem to be an artifact; in fact, it looked like a simple pebble that could be found anywhere in any Universe World.

The Pseudo-Royal Lord who had attacked felt something unusual about the bead the moment his Black Ink Strength made contact. Though others might not have been able to perceive its mystery, he could feel that Xiao Xiao’s bead was unexpectedly heavy, and when combined with the mysterious power from a Ninth-Order Master, he was unable to block it with his punch.

The next instant, the round bead closed in, and although the Pseudo-Royal Lord heard Mo Na Ye, he was too focused on the sense of danger that suddenly and inexplicably overwhelmed him. He did not care anymore, so he punched out again with all his strength.

With a loud bang, the void shook and the Pseudo-Royal Lord grunted as he was sent flying.

At the same time, the bead finally shattered. It was not some sturdy artifact, so it couldn’t withstand the full force of a Pseudo-Royal Lord’s attack.

At the moment when the bead shattered, Space Principles surged wildly. From the remnants of the shattered bead, large Universe Fragments appeared and shot in all directions, causing chaos among the Black Ink Clan.

An entire Universe World!?” Mo Na Ye exclaimed in a low voice, his eyes full of shock.

Only now did he realise that the bead was not some simple stone, but rather a Universe World refined into an unremarkable appearance through some profound means.

Each Character achieving the Open Heaven High Rank forms a Great World within oneself (especially profound characters exceed the quality of Great World birthed by the Universe Furnace)

Still, she continued, “But, if a cultivator advances into the High-Rank Open Heaven Realm and reaches the Seventh-Order Open Heaven Realm, their Small Universe will transform into an actual Universe World, which is almost indistinguishable from a real Universe World.”

His entire body shuddered at those words, “Almost indistinguishable?”

“The Small Universe of High-Rank Open Heaven Realm Masters can even accommodate living creatures or allow countless people to settle down peacefully in it. It can be said that they themselves are walking Universe Worlds. In fact, most High-Rank Open Heaven Realm Masters will bring living creatures, sometimes even Humans, into their Small Universes once they reach the Seventh-Order Open Heaven Realm. If these living creatures and Humans live and flourish within their Small Universe, then the Small Universe will be filled with life and will experience further development. Since doing so strengthens the Small Universe, it correspondingly strengthens the cultivator as well.”

A fierce shout suddenly rang out from Iron Blood Great Emperor’s side, “Open!”

A violent rumbling sound rang out as Chaos erupted and Heaven and Earth split apart.

The aura of the newly born Universe World spread out in all directions like a thunderstorm, spreading fierce gales and causing everyone’s clothes to flutter.

Potential Scalings involing Great Territories
Some Celestial Phenomenons are singulary as big as a Great Territory

Each Universe World’s birth originated from the Universe Furnace, and each grand and majestic Celestial Phenomenon also stemmed from it.

He couldn’t recognise them at first glance because every Celestial Phenomenon was different. Furthermore, the Celestial Phenomena he came across at the depths of Black Ink Battlefield were massive. The largest Celestial Phenomenon he had seen was just as vast as a Great Territory, and it contained unimaginable danger. Even a Ninth-Order Master or a Royal Lord might not survive if they barged into such a place.

Top Level fighters can destroy entire Great Territories by just existing and collapse them including their barriers by fighting

At that time, Yang Kai was looking to advance into the High-Rank Open Heaven Realm directly and was in search of a source of High-Rank Yin and Yang Element materials. That was when the Proprietress brought out her Universe Chart for him to see. Inside the Universe Chart, there were several Great Territories that were blank, without the markings of any great force. Not even Universe Worlds existed there
Big Brother Huang started speaking but hesitated to continue. As such, Big Sister Lan took over, “Long ago, our consciousnesses were muddled, which resulted in the destruction of many Great Territories, and that’s how the current size of the Chaotic Dead Territory came to be. After we gained sentience, we no longer dared to freely wander about, so we stayed here to avoid harming other places.”
Big Sister Lan, on the other hand, was the one to explain, “The outside world cannot accommodate our existence. If we really leave this place, we will only bring destruction wherever we go. Are you sure you can bear this result?”
On the other side of the Territory Gate, more than ten High-Rank Open Heaven Realm Masters still steadfastly watched over the Chaotic Dead Territory, just like they had been doing for a long time.

As Yang Kai had speculated, the fallout from the fight between the Sun’s Burning Light and Moon’s Serene Glimmer was too horrifying and would affect the neighbouring Great Territories. Once that happened, the entire Great Territory would become a part of the Chaotic Dead Territory.

Therefore, the Cave Heavens and Paradises would always empty the adjacent Great Territories to prevent too many casualties due to the fight. They had been doing this for many, many years now.

When the fight between the Burning Light and Serene Glimmer expanded previously and affected new Great Territories, they would already be empty to begin with; therefore, even though countless Universe Worlds would be destroyed, no casualties had been reported.

That was the reason the cultivators in this Great Territory fled decades ago.
The battle had spanned across countless years, and it still hadn’t stopped up until now. Due to the fight between the two, innumerable Great Territories had been destroyed.
Yang Kai had the urge to ask them why they still started this massive fight that spanned across countless eons and destroyed innumerable Great Territories since they knew no one would be the winner.

Conclusion
Representing the absolute peak of the first half of the cosmology and the most rudimentary baseline of the second half, Great Worlds both contain and exceed all their Star Fields, establishing themselves as their own self contained Multiverse, each having their own distinct laws, principles and Wills.

A collection of these Great Worlds within the same physical space combines into a Great Territory.

Unlike Great Worlds within a Great Territory which exists on the same plane and could be visited through regular travel, Great Territories are uniquely independent from one another, similarily to how Star Fields are and separated by true boundaries, turning each into their own Megaverse, with some containing "countless" Great Worlds. Only over time have the characters in the verse learned that there doesnt exist just their own Great Territory.

The extreme similarity between Great Worlds and Great Territorities to the beginning of the series with Cultivation Stars and Star Fields as well as the realisation that there exist more than their own as well as the inconsistency of them being infinite and boundless is a deliberate introduction for the wider cosmology we will continue to explore in the next entries.

The lonely exploration and the wandering suddenly gave him a long-lost sense of familiarity. Long ago, when he first entered the Starry Sky from Tong Xuan Realm, and then to the Star Boundary from the Star Field, was he not facing the storm alone and eventually overcoming all obstacles spectacularly?

As for scalings, virtually nigh-everyone in the later 2000 chapters of the novel can destroy a Great World by virtue of establishing one inside themselves and killing as well as be killed in one shot, having naturally occuring Great Worlds be relegated to food for higher existances or as distractions to be thrown around.

Celestial Phenomena can be as large as entire Great Territories and only higher tiered fighters manage to destroy Great Territories or, even higher tiered ones, shatter the barriers between them and affect other Great Territories in their clash.
