doesn't really mesh with your theory of me having a grand plan for watson to clear herself lol, no idea why you think I'd put any faith in her to do that
That's the thing - they couldn't really have any expectation that Watson would stay alive for longer, hence my contention that the janitor may not have been made with the intent to janitor so much as kill Sky (points to Aurelian) with the janitor as a bonus.
I dunno, pre her botch, id say she was reasonably safe just from a numbers pov, at least for a few days

1) Watson faked tracker at a time Poyser was being called scummy by me, ratchet, and gram and I had kicked off a wagon on him
2) Watson voted gad rather than poyser EOD1
3) Poyser came into D2 expecting to be the lynch and asked watson to claim
4) Watson takes a shit and gets auto lynched as you'd expect
5) Now Poyser is cleared town and in the driver's seat

Not really though - Ekko, Poyser, Nibel and Fang were all suspicious, and sure, some might be scum, but it's not an insignificant contingent. She would have also had a result claimed, and I don't think the prospect of getting another one Night 3 would be all that tempting for those who thought she was still scum. Would have been quite a bit harder to lynch her, sure, but with a janitor whose main value would be surviving for long enough, I don't think there could have been high expectations for that.
I wouldnt say Poyser is cleared town? For me personally, one of my theories hinged on lethal being scum also so its fair to say that EOD1 scenario has a plausible explanation, but hes not cleared, for me at least

I mean that's kind of my point, the only reason to think Poyser is town is the Watson flip and the way she played it doesn't make any sense, but does if you consider it as a sacrifice to help Poyser coast
I really think Poyser would be more inclined to tell her to just lynch him Day 1 - that sort of cred would have set her up for a very long time. Also think that if he's going to have her claim a roletrack, he wouldn't be clearing someone who he is trying to set up a push for. Along with all the other issues that go into that roletrack thing. Though I suppose in this case the roletrack thing could have been accidental.
I dunno if that's the case it's probably just GG, well played etc.
if watson didnt mess up yesterday she likely lives one more day and lethal gets yeeted day 2 but hard to say any more than that
