I could see X read the slot scum through the obvious - that he isn't trying to play. I kinda read X town to be honest, but I'm not very confident on that.

But is it that obvious? To me it hinges on the level of griefing Alexis would do to his scum team here that I think it's not readable to me

But it doesn't really change my position, because I do think there is reason for him to be treating Watson and GB differently, that doesn't come solely from him faking his perspective or whatever.

There's also the matter of his posts from yesterday which are downright suspicious in his lack of commentary around Melkor, in a way I find difficult to happen organically. My expectation of a townie taking a strong position in those circumstances is that just by like, sheer entropy, they'd say something about the other person in question, even if it looks bad in hindsight. The closest he got was wish washy statements like "regardless of Melkor's alignment", and chainsawing players who were voting him, but he specifically didn't say a single word about Melkor himself

While I still don’t trust Dest here and the Alexis read pinged me bc I had that whole radio theory in my head (and it made me think of Ekko/AM last game) I also can admittedly see Dest just making that read as town by scum reading anyone not doing much yet fwiw.

I think Dest looks really fake and bad in his vote on Alexis earlier after his Bg claim tho.

I also didn't really talk about Melkor. I didn't really have a thought about Melkor organically that mattered to me because I had no way to engage on Melkor's postin without prior experience.
 
To be fair I don't really know what his scum game looks like but not going to take his self accounting at face value that he's some god tier scum player and acting badly around Melkor isn't a scum tell for him

I think that's a towntell for me because I could probably manufacture something about Melkor in that situation and jump on while it's hot when the watson vote switch happened and I noticed watson gaining more wim and solving, but alas thats pointless self meta
 
What I noticed at the time was that Guillo was pushing on Watson when I was actually starting to think that Watson is simply not a wolf by play imo and disagreeing with that read

I don't think X is likely to give his scum read there that much consideration. He's not the type to weigh up much into scum motivation or whether it's too scummy to be scum or whatever. At least not for slots like Alexis.

Yeah, that's fair.
 
Anyway, Ratchet can go into my Town leans now. I think he‘s trying to understand people‘s perspectives as seen with Guillo and Ekko and it didn’t look like subtle shade as he did in the Fate game with me.

I think Watson is at worst non hostile Indie now given RDK‘s flip, so this looks more like a team mate of Melkor who came out of the woods to vote and save his mate. I also know for a fact that I‘m Town, Lappland is a Town lean and Ekko is at the Townier end of my PoE. So his direction is horrendous from my PoV.

Bit silly this. In hindsight, it looks bad since Melkor flipped scum, but Watson was also a direction, I'll concede by saying I never read any of Melkor's posts, I just saw Watson's complicated role claim and went that route, I was already off the site before it went full Melkor. Watson is still indie, which means non-Town so....

And I don't understand your last point, are you implying that I would be leading town into chain mislynches?
