I saw some art changes too, there's a feeling of a modern VN for the character arts, Like the characters looks skinnier than someone that should exist in that era or some shit. Even Victor feels like a modern VN character.

Hopefully, there’s an option to swap to the old portraits. Those had some charm.

I wonder if Suikoden 1 has the option to equip three Runes instead of one. If so then Cleo is going to be op in the early game with Water Rune and Fire Rune.

biggest change if this happened, A lot of character is going to be OP. Also Mcdohl won't be so limited for gameplay specially if you can play around with the Runes.

Luc having the True Wind Rune instead of a regular Wind Rune would be cool.

might suggest At least Finish 2. or tierkries. Tierkries is pretty short, While 2 is pretty solid with it's story also 2 is basically the framework for every other suikoden, as 1 is basically a test with how things work with it..

Giving Pesmerga and Yuber access to their suppose true rune is also going to be a big move if they would do that as there's no actual showing for both their true runes we just know they should be holder or even personification of their true runes.
