The main issue is the weakening verbiage seems like a weird thing to claim as scum, given it would point to you, and I would expect you to take care about what message is sent, but then again I'd expect Gram to inform you of that anyway.

On the other hand, I do think Ultra coaxed out your silly tell thing anyway, so I can see the angle. We are staying the course today, but unless you want tomorrow to be hell I think you need to step it up.
