A world view buttressed by dogmatic desperation invariably leads to single-minded fanaticism, and a need to do terrible things in the name of righteousness. This man is an animal - rabid, destructive, and incapable of nuanced understanding. He. must. be. put. down.
A zealous crusader, you have only one singular purpose: To eradicate the Crimson Curse and it’s progenitor, and nothing will stand in your way of achieving this.
In this game, you have the following roles:
- Lyncher (Your primary goal is to eliminate The Countess of the Crimson Court. After Night 2, for each night phase that passes without achieving this, you will accumulate one point of stress. If you are successful, you will leave the game. Note that you must survive to see your mission complete, dying at the same time as your target will result in a loss. You must be present on any wagon where the Countess is lynched in order to be credited with her death.
- 1x Trial by Fire (You may attempt to burn a player at the stake at night, killing them. This will not kill a Ruin Aligned player, and the writeup will reflect that the victim has been incinerated. This is considered to be a special kill which works at normal strength, but is particularly effective against the Countess.
- Zeal (You are sustained only by your clarity of purpose. If at any time you are afflicted with the Crimson Curse, or reach maximum stress, you will instantly die and lose the game.
You win when you complete your mission.
