I think that would have been much more even, I lean towards Ultra since he can still take hits from the enhanced big bang cannon Primus used, but I don’t know that it’d be a stomp or anything. I think even if they had still made Frieza win they kinda cheated themselves out of a more interesting video not using Megatron’s other forms tbh
 
Looking up Cell (since he's the last of the big 3 DBZ villains) he has a lot of variety of popular choices more than I've seen for most other characters:
-Amazo [DC]
-Omega [Mega Man X]
-Super-Skrull, Annihilus, Ultron [Marvel]
-Dark Samus [Metroid]
-Sephiroth [Final Fantasy]
-Evolto [Kamen Rider]
-Garou [One-Punch Man]
-Shadow [Sonic the Hedgehog]
-Meruem (still, surprisingly) [Hunter X Hunter]
-Mewtwo, Zygarde [Pokemon]

I'd like to see Amazo the most tbh, least the DCAU version. Probably loses, but it's the coolest option here and probably the most iconic

I think DCAU Amazo would be a good fit for What If Ultron. Ultron would fight either him or Fused Zamasu, or Heaven Ascended Dio. Liam's a big JoJo fan so that would put the others statistical chances at a disadvantage lol

oh yeah Ultron is more fitting for Amazo, just thinking off that list Amazo fits Cell the best

They're both "perfect" biological life forms created in a lab as a tool/weapon and they both drain life force/energy from everyone/everything on the Earth (Cell from the Earth's population by directly feeding on people, Sephiroth from the planet itself), and yes I believe because they both have "solar system" moments known to their respective fanbases.
 
I actually didn't notice it in the episode, but I found a screenshot someone did showing they did give a nod to Golden Megatron in one of the analysis black bars

Though their reasoning for excluding Japanese G1 from the composite is kinda bunk I'll admit lol.
 
If they gave Obito the Juubi and Thanos the Infinity Gauntlet, they can give Megatron his golden form, they even gave Shredder his Super Shredder form and he only had that from TMNT 2 for like less than a minute that had no impact on the story lol

I get what this guy is trying to say. But this isn't remotely similar to a Bill Cipher situation of winning the battle but losing the war lol.

Frieza had enough energy to maintain his black form, i'm sure he has enough energy to just fly across the universe to the nearest planet he owns with a healing pod.

He lost a planet he was planning to acquire and lost half his body
And God knows where's the nearest planet available to heal
He ain't dying but getting fucked over by some schmuck ya thought was gonna be an easy kill is an ego breaker

I mean

IDW is a completely separate universe from G1 too (IDW Rodimus even gets summoned by Marvel G1 Rodimus Prime at one point), and even G1 is a different universe from the comics so...I don't know what they mean by this lol. No reason Japanese G1 isn't as valid as the others. They also used WFC footage and WFC isn't even remotely related to G1, it's a prequel to Prime. They just didn't dig that deep sadly
 
unless they were trying to say the g1 cartoon, comics, and IDW are all in the same canon which is not only wrong it's never been true at all so what the hell

Unless Super revealed some more advanced healing pods then it won't do much for that sort of wound, right? He'd have to go back to his Mecha Frieza days of being half machine which I imagine is a huge stain on his ego that will haunt him when he came in so confident that Cybertron was insignificant before him.

Megatron still lost the war, but it was a Pyrrhic victory for Frieza.
