Yeah, the ability is weirdly tilted towards the "slave". That said, she has to initiate it, she can stop it whenever she wants while the dude is stuck till she says so, and she can legit override his will through the chain if she wants. And the reward is apparently "proportional" so if he transforms but doesn't fight she'll just pat him on the head or something.
It's also worth noting that while he's okay with it because it lined up with what he wanted, she basically kidnapped him and dragged him into a war zone to be a living weapon after this, because once the contract is made he's bound to her for life.
Minor spoilers but...
eventually others get the chance to use the ability and the dude keeps trying to warn them off of it. Obviously no one listens because its an ecchi show but Yuuki is noticeably uncomfortable with the ability forcing a reward, even if its from someone who straight up beat him half to death five seconds earlier (long story)
So with all that out of the way.....yeah no it's still kinda fucked up, just more evenly fucked up than it may initially appear
The manga kinda implies that it's not actually the dude's desires but the girls (or at least a mix of the two) that decide the content of the reward. The girl who is interested in dating has to take him on one (in the middle of an ongoing battle no less ) for example
So basically this is what Kyouka thinks a guy would want as a reward.
Think I might just give it a read afterall, at least the iffy elements of the ability ARE acknowledged in-story and not ignored outright. Well gives me something else modern to add to the reading list.
Blue hair is tokiko from Busou Renkin, Black Hair is Aya Tojou from Ichigo 100%, Blonde on top is Darkness from To-Love Ru Eyeshield 21 Mamori top right
