If Cubey is town, it makes sense for town to have more protection than that, but it also makes sense for scum to have some sort of protection. We couldn't make any sort of conclusive speculation about Ratchets alignment based on a flip like that.

So. Who says he's saying the truth in the first place and if so, it can very well be scum, there would just be slight modifications to it which wouldn't be mentioned in the fake Town role provided by the host.
