I think if @Polar Bear/@The Orca were living in a different house they'd basically play the same. I don't think they are cheating, we just assume so because they live together and play this way. We've had instances in the past where players lived together and played the game with no issues. What you want to target is their playstyle imo, but i also think the accusation against them is over exaggerated because they mostly read each other correctly. When one is scum and the other is town you will notice some hesitation from the town one to put the scum one in strong town reads. This doesn't mean they are cheating, just that they feel the other one is a bit off, but their playstyle still compels them to support the other one even if they feel like they can be scum.

I don't have a solution for this, but I think if we are going to prevent them from playing in the same game then we need a legit evidence of cheating or a proper reason to ban them from playing the same game, because as far as I see, banning them under the premise of "living in the same house" is just unfair. Suppose they live in different houses and play the same way, will you unban them then? Doesn't that invalidate the initial reason for banning?

tl;dr I don't think it's about where they live, but rather how they play. We are banning them for wrong reasons, and we do not have enough proof to ban for another reason imo. Each host can individually ban them from their games if they wish, but they should not be section banned from joining the same game imo.

This not to say that I endorse their playstyle. I got very annoyed by it in a recent game in WG, but still... not cheating so they aren't really breaking any rules.

Counter point: My recent game on Fanverse in which they subbed in as different alignments and Town Orca immediately went after scum Polar. This was just weird. So you can’t really be sure whether there‘s cheating involved or not.
