Sukuna’s got a chance at taking out Ainz, it’s a who hits who first, and literally turns Shiki into hamburger patties
 
I always figured sukuna vs ainz came down to how you ruled two big things.

One cursed energy vs negative energy. The two energies are incredibly similar conceptually and if you rule one is equivalent to the other ainz is going to constantly heal and buff off cursed techniques, because in overlords logic negative energy fundamentally can't be used to harm the undead, it heals them and makes them stronger, negative energy attacks/techniques are actually used to heal the undead. Which is why the spell greater lethal heals ainz and shalltear.

The second would be domain expansion and depiction of nature and societies world item. Domain expansion and depiction of nature and societies fill incredibly similar roles to my admittedly basic knowledge, IE Creating a sealed off realm that you're the master of that stops people from leaving. If you rule they're equivalent ainz would have to chose to be caught in a domain expansion/would essentially be entirely immune to them.

Honestly, it's a far closer battle than people think(Ainz is at higher than Supersonic but Hypersonic is questionable and Sukuna is just at Mach 3) and it's basically depending on if Sukuna can deal with Ainz's bullshit or not since he can live without a Heart and his RCT can get absurd at points.

I don't think it's too unreasonable for the Aging Devil to have the ability to stop time, but it could've also just been the Aging Devil being fast as fuck (Primal Fears are the top dogs of the setting after all, and a fraction of Darkness' power (i.e. the flesh he? it? gave to Santa Claus) was able to grant them the power to kill Makima).

Either he's fast enough to statue characters with sub-rel speeds (which would push him into the relativistic+ if not LS) which assumes Fujimoto took that all into account or the aging devil can slow/stop time.


Also the piece he gave Santa Claus wasn't gonna be enough to Kill Makima. He knew that which is why he baited her into coming to pick up Denji and the rest
