ALSO in regards to flavor, having Ash and Jack in this game is weird because they are miles apart in regards to seasons and storylines. My gut initially tells me these characters wouldn't be in the game together.

Lol I really doubt that will matter. In HP we had characters from tons of different eras.

Ash is a minor character that shows up a couple of times in the first few seasons and then Jack is a main character that doesn't show up until season twelve.

That was because it was a massive game and HP only has so many characters. You could easily do a twelve player game with just important Supernatural characters. I don't want to get into too much game setup spec based on flavor, but just something I wanted to bring to attention.

Ash is a minor character that shows up a couple of times in the first few seasons and then Jack is a main character that doesn't show up until season twelve.

In HP we had Grindelwald, Old Man Dumbledore, Tom Riddle version of Voldemort, all of his death eaters who started the game older than him, fantastic beast characters, Harry started the game as a baby while his friends were their normal selves, etc.

Unless the game is advertised as a particular arc or season I don’t think it’s something Fuji is worried about.

Again, two different games. One was a massive role madness that Fuji said would span over magical eras. This should be a simpler setup. It's more angle shooty than anything, it's just something that pinged my gut.

I don’t think flavor solving is going to get us anywhere on its own. Nor is Fuji going to provide fakes that stick out like sore thumbs if everyone else’s flavor fits a very specific time period

It’s just bad science lol.

We could have made a 40 player game with only characters from the core series/timeline.

The whole “characters from any era” was included after so we could justify the weird existence of all those characters together lol.
