These were the posts that stuck out to me reading;

Here Ekko names Alexis too, I didn't quote the post but Alexis in true Alexis fashion not only didn't claim but instead asked for another person to claim.
Though it seems Alexis has gone unnoticed now in D2, at least from my PoV, so I can't say with accuracy how true this is however.

Ekko is pushing quite hard for Poyser, but I don't really know what exactly the case is because it's even farther back (I'm not gonna do that much work)
This kind of seems in retrospect like Ratchet is very calculated in his choice of words, where it appears to a degree that he is purposefully casting doubt on Ekko's slot, laying a foundation for a future push.
I think most of what he's posted is pretty fair game and I'd hardly call it AtE except possibly his concession. His arguments are all coming from a narrow bandwith of "you're technically wrong about this", "you're a dickhead", "I will come up with reads tomorrow". Almost like he's scum or something.
I would argue the AtE would be responding to "can you give me your opinion on Ekko" with "you are an insufferable dickhead", because, especially if scum, the intent there is to avoid giving anything meaningful but also to discourage further interactions by making the whole sequence unpleasant. That would be an appeal to emotion, it doesn't have to be purely seeking pity to be AtE. Would say it's also very hypocritical, because he had a lot of issues with you calling people stupid as scum over Xmas, and I would argue that this is patently worse, but that isn't AtE by itself.
Otherwise, I agree. I think his retorts have been lacking substance, in fact I think his scum reads at large have been lacking substance, and have definitely come across as wanting to make something pushable as opposed to him actually believing it. Like I think the scum case for him is pretty solid. Just find it easier to reconcile his emotional retorts as from frustrated town than caught scum. But I'll give the Boys game a read too, maybe that's just what he goes for as scum.
In credence to Ratchet though, he did mostly elude to believing Ekko was town - the only thing that I'm kind of picking on is this comment in particular: "Otherwise, I agree. Writing this out and kind of working with my own thoughts though, I think Ratchet's apporach is too soft to be scum trying to lay a foundation for a mislynch here - more likely just a Townie trying to explore different angles.
That being said, I think these following posts from GAD gives me another perspective again.
To me, GAD sounds quite genuine here in the way he's presenting his case, and not to mention he's actually being serious - something I rarely see from him.
While the point about Ekko might be a bit of a stretch in a vaccum, seeing GAD openly throwing suspicion on Ratchet kind of catch my attention.
Watson then shortly after votes GAD, for no given reason.
Ratchet asks why, to which she only retorts "Fuck GAD"
And Luka posts this, claiming Ratchet is Town, and wants Poyser to vote Ultra.
I was mainly just reading back to get a certain sense of what's going on, but with the hindsight knowledge of Ekko flipping Town, I'd say Ratchet/ Ultra/ Alexis are looking a bit suspicious.
I'm however a bit reluctant on Ratchet based on my interactions with him and the general approach he's taken in the thread - so I'm only naming him in the context of this readback only.
Overall this places Ratchet in Null (+) for the time being.
Same can't really be said for Ultra though.
Also relatively comfortable with giving GAD a town read here.
Watson with the timing of the GAD vote looks quite bad IMO, she can be scum lean - but idk if this is multiball or not, so the duel might not actually be a clearing of her name - even though in the current landscape the duel with Poyser is good optics, these are things that can easily be faked. Especially considering the fact that Poyser were most likely never going to be let go after the lynch failing on him.
Luka with the timing is also a bit strange, but it's too ambiguous for me to claim that it is evidence of anything. But found it worth noting how the flow of the field was directly affected by GAD's read on Ratchet.
It was just quite a curious chain of events.
Alright, that will conclude the productive Arc for now. Don't expect any more in-depth detective work from me for a while.
