not how i interpreted it. why would a townie be measured by whether they have "hiding in scum chat thing" metric?
it's like saying "ratchet is town because he doesn't hide in scum chat"
that doesnt make any sense because we know ratchet will play in the thread regardless of alignment (due to experience). i interpreted gram's post about cata in the same light (albeit due to him being too new)
from the looks of it, gram thinks he said something else entirely, and has zero intention of elaborating further. my take on this is it's such a silly thing for him to get hung up on (specially as scum), and talking to gram over this interaction has already required me to raise my head all the way up just to be able to see him from atop the high horse he's sitting on, so i think he can be town and we got off on a misunderstanding. i do think the way he's handling this / shutting the interaction prematurely without responding to questions is pretty shitty but its par for the course of his town game.
1. it's much more likely for town to join wagons for flimsical reasons to get something going than for scum. i think scum wud prefer to avoid this wagon until after its more established.
2. thought melkor's vote on aurelian and questioning of gram was fine
3. thought alexis opening with a read list was fine
all admittedly weak reads though. we kinda just need to get something going tbh, game's too dead. also i kinda gave those reads thinking gram is scum but if he's town they get weaker, and the game kinda gets significantly more boring if we have to crapshoot an inactive scum
fwiw i thought you voting fuji early was to entertain what gram was cooking, but i find it meh that nothing came out of it and i found fuji's responses fine tbh. think you may be playing all sides here to come out on top for better or worst. can i have a read list from u pls

Fwiw, I agree that nothing about Cata is towny or scummy. But looking back at games with complete novices like when Ral was scum, there's nothing about his posts that ping me which is a good sign
