    i voted you as i noticed you gave cp an answer that didn't make sense, which i then asked you to explain right after. nothing is scummy or bad faith here. all of this is irrelevant noise in the grand scheme of you dodging that question twice.


    im going to ask it again just so you (and the bystanders) are clearly aware of what my issue with your initial response to cp is.


    first you make this statement as a response to cp asking you why is cata town: "doesnt have the deer in the headlights / hiding in scum chat thing going on"


    i don't get exactly what the insinuation behind this statement is, but i understood it is "cata is new so doesn't yet possess the quality of being frozen as scum" which is why i have the following concerns:


    1. if cata is too new and doesn't yet have the habit of hiding in scum chat, wouldn't it mean that, as scum, cata can post in the thread just like he's doing now? can you atleast respond to this part because you've clearly been dodging it.

    2. if your answer to question 1 is "yes", then i ask: why did you have cata as town here when he shud be more NAI following the logic above?

    3. if your answer to question 1 is "no", then i ask: wouldn't that mean this statement is untrue for him as scum: "doesnt have the deer in the headlights / hiding in scum chat thing going on", and a follow-up question: you've never seen him as scum so how would you realistically tell if he has that habit or not? being new is not enough tell

    4. if i am misunderstanding something about the statement, feel free to clarify! i've given you the ball twice and you've neglected. don't really care about your performative vote or wagon on me, id appreciate if you could answer the question instead if it's really "a stupidly easy to understand idea".

    5. I think your second response about "him not being awkward" or whatever is fine and I have no issues with it. i don't think it matches the initial response though, and I again find it comically performative, scummy even, that you've opted to rally votes on me for challenging a nonsensical point of yours, and instead of address my concern directly, your first action was to appeal to ridicule it in front of those who know no better and probably aren't even reading my posts.

    ftr im not using my busy schedule as an excuse of any sort, nor will i be forcing myself to keep posting when i can't. just putting it out there to set the right expectations from the start etc..

    p.s i think most of my wagon is actually town, with the exception of possibly gram and null on sigis. gad is doing a fair bit of instigation so he's the weakest read, atleast he's a bit more forefront about it which i am okay with.

    I think he's saying that if Cata were scum they'd be frozen in scum chat, which I'm not sure I agree with either
     
    I didn't play the unranked game (no awards? couldn't be me) but looks like Cata had 342 posts there. Seems like they're pretty comfortable posting to me in general, so I'm not gonna be making a bold assumption on how they'd play as scum in their only scum game. I've been burned by making similar assumptions in the past about people

    its not that bold an assumption, hes a complete novice and won't have the nuance of posting unburdened as scum, unless hes an absolute savant, which on balance of probability, he isnt. Regardless, youre ignoring the nonsense ekko is posting here, whether you agree with my point or not, his interpretation is borderline impossible to arrive at unless it was a premeditated push which hes now trying to justify, dressed up like a pig in lipstick

    Also, im not saying hed be necessarily be frozen in scum chat, but i do think i, an experienced player whos pretty good town would be able to tell the difference between first time scum and first time town, having seen him play one alignment already to a reasonable degree of accuracy.

    I don't see what Cata is posting that is so convincing? The post you quoted was literally just him going "woah, a double vote" which could come from either alignment regardless of experience. The rest of his posts are similarly uninspiring. I don't see how a scum newb couldn't make them
