Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

Found this calc putting it at mountain level which seems pretty reasonable to me. Since again, the meteor didn’t catch fire while they were already in the atmosphere and it was a gradual process of Mark slowing it down.

Plus he didn’t simply smash a rather small meteor like that for whatever reason

Except it did catch fire right before he stopped it.

The meteor was coming from deep space while Mark was slowing it down and it was still moving fast enough that just hitting the edge of the atmosphere was enough for it to burst into flames

And that was at the very end of its deceleration because Mark stops it two seconds later.

Yep, gonna use a calc from VSB without any actual backing from it huh? So we should believe Mach 100 Deku from saving Overhaul from Nagant's Rifle shot with only using Manga Pics for context?

Just started catching fire. As in, wasn’t even a fireball yet. Don’t think it really makes that much of a difference

Have we even bothered with our own dispute it?

Blew up the missile before being carried away by the shockwave (1:15), being miles away from the explosion itself before it even propagates
Dude, the shockwave alone is enough to part the clouds over the US and leave an impact covering half the country, that shit does not work as an argument, especially when Chaos just know used cloud parting as a measure for Deku's own feat you are supporting.

Splitting an island would utterly fuck up Amazon Prime Mark though
???

The nuke feat in S3 is already above island level and Mark tanked that with 0 damage

Nevermind, Mark by the time he fights conquest is moon level
Mark, at the point Amazon stopped, should be moon level, right?

Even ignoring comic stuff like Nolan's battle with Supreme, I don't think Nolan got any stronger between his breakout and the Viltrumite War and him destroying Viltrum with Mark and Thaddeus. And I'm assuming here that he's probably weaker than Conquest.

It makes a difference because the part where it catches fire was the slowest it had been moving up until then.

Mark had been bleeding off its speed for at least ten to twenty seconds (supposing he made contact literally right before we see the meteor) and during the last two seconds of that it was still going fast enough to instantly catch on fire once it hit atmosphere.

I’m not supporting anything from Deku. I just hear he split an island and than mentioned that would mess up Amazon Prime Mark

Seems iffy since again, he just got carried away with the shockwave vs taking the entire explosion itself, which Id then understand why he directly scales to the entirety of

It’s like arguing I can tank the entire energy of a Hurricane if I got swept up by the winds and survived

Thats stupid.

A shockwave is most of the explosions power, the fireball was the size of a state and the shockwave of the nuke covered half of the US, that's island-country level.

No it's not. The Hurricane would already exist and be spread over a collosal area. Mark was at the literal impact point where all of the energy was released.

For that comparison to work you'd have to be standing next to some kind of container compressing all of the air from the hurricane in a like 5 meter area, which you then pop with a needle, and then you survive the ensuing blastwave.

I see how someone doesn't know how explosions work...
You realize when I said that before when it came to it, it wasn't that Mark didn't take the explosion, it was just the fact he was knocked out which was my main point.

At a glance?

If his final punch cleared about a week's worth of storms spanning the continental USA?

Mind you, you're talking 10^14-1-^15 joules released by a fairly average sized storm over a half an hour IIRC?

Depleting that kind of weather pattern that spans that much more global surface area sounds congruent with teratons without doing some kind of scaling, math, or specific KE scaling at least

Looking at what vs battles did, mutli-continent is a misnomer by our measure (exatons), they got about 40 petatons from there assumed time frame for the speed the weather pattern was dispersed.
So where do you peg end-of-series Deku?

Multi-country or multi-continental?

And you'd be wrong, since not only is Amazon Mark far higher than island level, the feat of splitting up that island is not all that impressive since it was made of gold, a material that is known for being weak in durability, hence why you never see it used as armor except to show off since it is useless at that.

You have no clue just how much shockwaves from a Nuke alone can destroy shit do you? Not only that but the nuke was tanked head on by Mark who rammed right into it, the force he tanked was far more than just the shockwave since he was in the epicenter of it, the only thing iffy is your argument he did not tank it face first.
It’s like arguing I can tank the entire energy of a Hurricane if I got swept up by the winds and survived
Shitty analogy, Hurricanes do not explode Einstein, they build up and eventually increase before dying out, Bombs and Nukes especially instantly blow up in force, not like if the force of a Hurricane was strong enough to swept you off your feet you would most likely be dead anyway from the sheer force necessary to do that. Tanking an explosion right in your face will fuck you up, shockwave or not, and mark went above and beyond by ramming into a it. Your argument has more holes than Swiss cheese.
