Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

Just saying most 80's action movie heroes would stomp the shit out of John Wick. Someone like John Matrix would fuck him up like it's nobody's business, even while completely unarmed.


There's a reason why action heroes from around this era are stereotyped as being hilariously overpowered. Which is funny because I didn't even post the part of the movie where Arnold perfectly embodies said stereotype :tupac
 
Hey, what would happen if I pitted the strongest protagonist of Type Moon 2012 against Jagganoth?

I'm just curious how his noble phantasm would work.

You mean Shizuki before he left the Mountains? Or Aoko with Blue?
I mean they wouldn't be able to kill the Jagganoth while Jagganoth could kill Shizuki with time, he's in an eternal stalemate with Aoko... provided they aren't in the Type-Moon Universe and time ends up having a conniption due to what Aoko does and have a Time Crash in the process.

The scale of the destruction is only 20 or so buildings wide. Most cities aren't the size of a couple of city blocks.

It also doesn't destroy the city, it partially collapses it. The majority of the buildings are still in one piece and the last shot has the city (mostly) intact when they fly away.

Now, Ulquiorra wouldn't be able to do that with a sword swing or anything, but Conquest did that with a bullrush over some large distance and Ulquiorra's forte is energy projection. Which would be able to accomplish the same (and more) with arguably less effort on Ulquiorra's part.

That's not to say that Ulquiorra's physical strength is particularly bad, either. Characters many tiers weaker than him could do things like cut large stone buildings in half with air pressure and collapse a city block's worth of said stone buildings by hitting each other with their swords. It also helps that, given equal force, blades are a lot better at doing damage due to the difference in surface area.

Why would Ulquiorra get into a slugfest when he can launch energy attacks like the rational person he is? Next slower people have tagged Nolan, Mark, and Conquest all the time.

He very much does. He would have the speed and extrasensory skills too. It also helps he can use sonido to erase his presence to.

I always like when people just say "Bleach characters can compete speed wise against X" but they never say how or why:oldryoma
It's the massive equivalent of just going "just trust me bro" because most people would tell you that Bleach's speed feats are basically non-existent outside of a few feats that not everyone even remotely scales to.

Are you really claiming people give the same grace to bleach? Everyone always judges bleach. Next characters in bleach have sonido/shunpo/hireynaku/high speed technique to explain that away. When they fight large scale does happen (Grimmjow, Edrard, Kenpachi, Ichigo, Yamamoto, Robert, Gin, Yhwach, etc.) You cant compare what bleach does to Invincible when they dont have a specific technique that explains away why the air isnt impacted.

I keep hearing this first part everytime but if anything, I have seen a massive uptick in people just believing in Bleach feats with nothing behind it. It's even funnier because Bleach feats in a vacuum is legit bad and the anime has been pulling hardcore in actually changing the scope of it pretty fucking deeply... but it wouldn't benefit Ulquirroa in any way.
So to then go "Well the anime explains it" is fucking stupid because no, Sonido/Shunpo/Hirenkyaku/Bringer Light doesn't ever explain any of that shit and the "large scale fights" always tend to happen at random and no one ever goes to that level of power casually.

I wonder where the hell everyone is because holy shit man, it's one thing to gas up Bleach feats from the Arrancar Saga to be far stronger than they are(or faster than they are), it's a whole ass other thing to see that Conquest feat and think "Oh that's just 20 buildings, Kenpachi and Ichigo's clash did way more" unironically.

It only works in the sense the stronger the defense of not being able to be hurt(Like having Vector Shields like Accelerator or otherwise), Jagganoth is just built differently.

If I remember correctly, his invulnerability is due to the Angelic Feathers that Metatron stuck into him. So it is precisely protection.
 
Are you talking about Soujuurou?

He caps out around stunning an enemy which would take blowing up half the world to kill otherwise

that is literally nothing to Jagganoth, at most he'd feel it a little
