That's one of the main factor why Pokemon game is still strong all this year though.

Not like all 900+ pokemon is getting used but the player favorite except for legendary can be use across the franchise which digimon tends to ignore for all their game.

Especially considering how large Digimon evolution lines are. You can cover 6 Digimon in a single evolution line, so there's no reason not to get at least several hundred in there, including as many fan favourites as you can.

But they seem to be stuck in trying new things every time, which again is good in its own way, but there is a reason Pokemon has stayed as big as it has, for as long as it has. The formula works.

I appreciate them trying different things but stepping on Fate's toes isn't going to get you anywhere as you'll just be compared to them.

If they are going to be compared with fate, they ain't surviving. there selling point is the digimon and if they can create a good story.

Fate was also an adult Genre (ignoring sex scene. blood and shit are brutal in Fate you actually get dead), digimon remains a shounen which is going to hit hard once the older fans takes it.

apparently 2747 is the strongest scp now and beat the fuck out of the scarlet king and immediately obliterated 3125 the Fifthist God?


absolutely fucking none of that is even remotely suggested to be something it can do in the original article, and the original article is good

the only cool tie in I've found is the newish goi the Ortothans tied their god into other scps in fun ways eg. the 5th of their 7 gods was forgotten by everyone, stated by the author to be a deliberate reference to 3125, and their 7th god is just gone, also stated to be a 2747 reference


this is an actually cool way for a newer writer to integrate their brand new mythos into the greater cosmology of gods (i think it's also implied the universe/multiverse they came from was eaten by the scarlet king)

it doesn't overly try to unify things like that bullshit about 682 being the scarlet king's son, but it shows how different pantheons may have interacted in a meaningful way
