No, I'd make it have some basis in history and not another Knights of the round table tale. I was thinking more of a renegade Templar concealing his true identity sometime after the disbanding of the Order by King Philip where he is just wondering around 1300s Europe in a manner similar to how Yojimbo and the Man With No Name went around their respective places encountering opportunity for some wealth to buy him some food and comfort to live and eventually help the plight of whatever village or town he is occupying for the moment.

Its just TLJ fags absolutely despise TROS because it shat on TLJ. People hate TROS otherwise because its just as schizophrenically retarded as TLJ for different reasons.
I feel like it is even TBF. People still say TLJ is the worst and things like that as much as they do ROS so it comes off as people struggling to decide which is worse. While I think they are both arguably the worst SW films I would say TFA deserve condemnation for "setting up" the crappy storylines to begin with because despite how much it's apologists say it was ruined by the next two, it had a lot of stupid plot points and terrible pacing and issues of it's own that were only made worse by the other two because it was where they started to begin with.
Also idk if it's unpopular but I think all 3 sets of Starwars Trilogies suck ass and only like the games and books
